Chapter 79

Yu Qingxian stared at this zombie, determined to not move unless the zombie made the first move.

As the dust settled on the ground, Yu Qingxian finally saw the true appearance of this zombie.

Completely naked, the zombie's skin looked like it was covered in a black plastic suit, even reflecting light.

Its eyes were unnaturally white, and its mouth was split open to the sides.

Yu Qingxian felt like this zombie looked vaguely familiar.

Had she seen it somewhere before?

It wasn't until the zombie slightly opened its mouth that Yu Qingxian suddenly realized it resembled Venom.

But not quite, it just looked like a tanned, pitch-black person.

The zombie said a few words, but Yu Qingxian couldn't understand a thing.

She couldn't comprehend what language this zombie was speaking.

This was a foreign zombie!!!

Indeed, this place was too close to the border.

Even with official personnel stationed in these areas, they couldn't completely seal it off.

But she never expected that zombies would actually sneak across the border.

Not only did it sneak across, this old fellow had turned into this appearance.

It had evolved, and also gone bald?

Yu Qingxian noticed its movements were nimble, seemingly unaffected by the cold temperature.

So this meant that this foreign zombie had evolved in the cold towards an extreme?

If evolving meant not fearing the cold but turning into this ghastly form, Yu Qingxian definitely wouldn't want that.

Yu Qingxian couldn't understand the zombie, and it couldn't understand her either.

Clearly, the two zombies failed to communicate.

But Yu Qingxian knew this zombie must have come for the T-Rex.

The only living thing around here should be the T-Rex.

Sure enough, when the zombie realized it couldn't communicate with Yu Qingxian, it headed towards where the T-Rex was.

Watching the zombie suddenly disappear, Yu Qingxian finally realized this foreign zombie had gone after the T-Rex.

She immediately threw down the gloves in her hand, but a second later picked them up and rushed into the house.

No, if you want to eat an animal, go home and eat one!

That's someone's pet dog, you dog thief, stay right there!

Yu Qingxian thought to herself, has she ever risked her life for anyone?

Of course not, but now she was risking her life for a dog!

Night had already fallen, and the outside temperature was who knew how low.

Indeed, it didn't seem so simple to have a peaceful sightseeing trip in the apocalypse.

She had felt something off when grabbing this zombie's hand earlier.

Whether human or zombie, one could always feel the bones.

But when she grabbed this zombie, its hand felt like it had no bones.

She originally thought that if the insides had rotted away, it would become flammable.

But she never expected it to actually explode.

This zombie was like it had a bunch of hydrogen gas stuffed inside its belly.

Yu Qingxian couldn't feel pain, so she didn't realize she had also been affected.

It wasn't until she looked down and saw her cotton jacket start burning that she patted it frantically before lying down and rolling a couple times to extinguish the fire.

Not only was her cotton jacket burned, but even her long hair had been burned quite a bit.

This made Yu Qingxian lie down on the ground.

She really loved her long hair.

Now that it had been licked by the fire snake, it didn't look as nice.

If she were human, her hair could grow back.

But her body had long since lost the ability to metabolize.

So her hair would never grow again.

Yu Qingxian had nothing else to be proud of except her long, smooth black hair as a night creature.

Now, it had been burned!!!

Yu Qingxian lay on the ground, not wanting to move, while the T-Rex poked its head out of the room to look for something in the pile of ashes.

Soon, it came back in carrying a Crystal Core in its mouth.

Yu Qingxian didn't stay lying down, as the door was now swinging precariously, about to break with the slightest touch.

The cold wind kept gushing into the room.

The campfire she had painstakingly lit was about to go out.

Yu Qingxian could only find nails and wooden boards to nail the door shut.

After all, she could exit through the side door, as long as the room's temperature didn't dissipate.

She added more firewood to the campfire, then got up to find a mirror and scissors.

Although she really liked her hair, having the burned and stiffened hair hang on her head didn't look nice either.

Yu Qingxian found a mirror and saw that all the hair around her face had shriveled up from the high temperature.

She could only carefully trim it with scissors.

It took over ten minutes for Yu Qingxian to cut off all the burnt hair.

Luckily, she hadn't gone completely bald.

The hair on her forehead wasn't burned since her hat covered it, only the hair at the sides of her ears had burned.

All of that had to be cut off.
