Yu Qingxian hurriedly took off her down jacket, finally struggling out from the tree gap, and grabbed the axe for chopping trees before rushing over.

She swung at the stem of the giant flower.

Yu Qingxian looked at the man-eating plant still retching beside her, and waved a burning stick of wood in front of it.

The man-eating plant indeed kept dodging.

Although Yu Qingxian felt that her burning stick of wood couldn't really hurt it, the plant's instinct was still to fear the flames.

Seeing that the man-eating plant was indeed afraid, she took two sticks and performed a sword routine in front of the man-eating plant.

It did manage to drive the man-eating plant away.

It was also retching.

Probably the sticky liquid on its body didn't smell good either.

Yu Qingxian then rolled up her sleeves, not even bothering with the down jacket, and went to help the Tyrannosaurus get the sticky liquid off its body.

In just a few minutes, the sticky liquid started freezing, hardening.

Mainly because she didn't see any zombies in the town.

Of course, she also didn't sense any living humans.

It seemed this place had no survivors or official personnel stationed.

But the quieter a place was, the more care was needed.

The houses in this county town were spread out, not very close together.

Yu Qingxian scouted ahead, confirming there was no danger, before letting the Tyrannosaurus enter a house first.

She then closed the door, holding a tree branch as she headed into the county town.

To find out if there were any zombies in this county town, the easiest way was to just call out.

"Is anybody there? No, let me rephrase that - are there any zombies here?" Yu Qingxian shouted a few times, but no zombies answered her.

Just when Yu Qingxian thought there were truly no zombies in this town, a figure suddenly rushed out from behind a house and sped past her.

Yu Qingxian saw that the figure was wearing local attire, so it was not a mutated zombie.

And its target was clear - the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

She knew there had to be something amiss with how quiet this county town was.

"Stop right there!" Yu Qingxian yelled as she threw the branch in her hand.

And that zombie was indeed pinned to the spot.

Yu Qingxian immediately realized that this was an intelligent zombie.

One that could communicate.

Yu Qingxian quickly jogged over and saw that it was a short figure with two long braids, so she knew it was a female zombie.

She circled around to its front and saw that this zombie looked to be in her early twenties when she was alive.

However, this zombie's eyes were red, not golden like Shi Xingyu and Ye, indicating that it was slightly weaker than them.

But it was still at least a Level 3 or 4 zombie.

Yu Qingxian stared at it, and it stared back at her.

Of course, Yu Qingxian didn't miss the secretions dripping from the corner of its mouth.

Since it wasn't as strong as Shi Xingyu and Ye, it definitely couldn't defeat the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Yu Qingxian suddenly stopped worrying.
