Chapter 60 - Generous Man

Days seemed to be passing fast for Yera because unfortunately the vacation would come to an end because they needed to return back to their country tomorrow noon.

'Today would be the last day.' Yera mused a bit disappointment because every day spent in that mountain was truly enjoyable and relaxing. She sat comfortably on a chair and table at their  balcony while she looked at the beautiful blue sky. The warm breeze gently touched her calm and exquisite face.

Xander saw she was in deep thought while she held a cup of coffee in her hand and sip it. He could read her expression well so he remarked, "We can stay for more days if you want."

Yera nodded as she bit the sandwich Xander prepared for breakfast. The place was truly remarkable. Having a simple breakfast like that while looking at the magnificent nature before her was something she would want to experience often but she needed to start executing her plan soon...

"We stayed long enough. We have to go back…" she answered plainly. Xander no longer pursued the matter of staying because he knew that Yera still had a lot of important things to attend to. 

"What do you want to do next?" Xander asked with his smashing smile. Yera doubted if she would ever meet a man as energetic as Xander. He was always fully charged.

"Let's do walking along local sights and hot air ballooning…" she said and Xander agreed.

Xander and Yera strolled around hand-in-hand as they enjoyed the local sights and went to the stores to buy various souvenirs. It gave them another quality time together where they chat on various things as the walked. Xander also took a lot of photos of them together and even bothering other tourist to help get their whole body camera shot on good spots  with beautiful scenery.

There were also countless dining options so they ate lunch at a restaurant with great mountain view.

Xander suddenly suggested, "Do you want to drink? I'll order some good ones…"

"NO!" Yera burst out with rounded eyes as if she was too mortified.

"Huh? I thought you like drinking… While I'm letting you… you should take the opportunity, It's very rare for me to offer like this especially knowing you can go crazy afterwards" said Xander smiling.

'The heck! You can even grin? Are you happy that I turn crazy and do all things on you?' Yera wanted to voice out but she controlled herself. She would never tell Xander that she remembered what she did. That was too embarrassing… Even the words she said were too crazy, phallectomy? But what she did was to rub and tug…

Yera abruptly shook her head while her face twisted… Who knew what else she would do next when drunk, surely more embarrassing things...

"Just a glass?" Xander asked casually, but she could sense a teasing tone in his voice. 

"NO… Stop it. I said I won't drink okay." Yera firmly refused.

'That's weird…' Xander mused suspiciously. He could not believe how Yera was avoiding a drink because his dear wife loved to drink so it was a bit off for her to refuse unless…'Unless… Wait…She remembered?' Xander asked inwardly. Because he could not dare ask Yera so he no longer pursue the matter. He noticed Yera's cheeks were blushing that heightened his suspicion.

He smiled and teasingly stated, "Alright no more drinks for you. But don't you believe me when I said you did not do crazy things. It's not a crazy thing okay?"

"Stop and finish your food!" Yera suddenly said with her firmed and deep tone.  Xander cowered as he continued to eat.

The couple decided to stroll more and decided to take the rides on hot air balloon at sunset.

The air was clearer and cooler as they took a private balloon with a pilot on board.

Yera gasped, she could feel the excitement rushed all over her as the balloon propelled by heated air rose and hovered.  It was a rolling hills and green landscapes. The rainforests and surrounding mountains were spectacular. The very breathtaking landscape would leave you speechless while you just enjoyed every view.

It was exceptionally peaceful experience and the bird's eye-view of the scene below was superb.

Yera felt Xander hugged her from behind, locking her waist with his firm and warm arms. Yera felt him rested his chin on her shoulder causing Yera to move her head a bit sidewards to accommodate Xander. "Thanks, darling…" Xander whispered in her ear. He was almost kissing her  ear because she could feel his lips and hot breath. Yera unconsciously raised and crossed her arms to feel Xander's arms embracing her.

"Yesterday, I said I'm falling in love with you… I think that it's not the right word…" Xander murmured.  Yera felt Xander turned her around.

He held her closer, his eyes did not blink and looked at her eyes intently. Those eyes of him was penetrating deep inside Yera's soul. He cupped her face as he said in his clear and deep tone, "Yera Han… I love you…"

Yera opened her mouth to say something but no words came out…

"I… ahm.." she was struggling for words and she saw Xander smiled at her with full of sympathy, understanding and reassurance as he repeated, "I love you and I told you… I'm a generous man when it comes to patience so if it's hard for you to answer now then don't push yourself… Take your time… I'll be always waiting…"

Then Xander leaned forward to sealed her opened mouth instead for a breathtaking kiss…

The pilot on board sighed silently… For a single man like him, his work who often  witness romantic scenes like this was a torture… a terror...
