The Insults Towards Lilia

「Do you want to try going into the dungeon for just a little bit today? We don’t have to go deep. We’ll be in trouble if we don’t make a little bit of money. To be honest, once I pay the inn’s rent, we’ll pretty much be completely broke」

「Sure. At least from what I heard, if it’s just the lower-tiers, it’ll be a walk in the park even with just the two of us. Because despite how I look, I’m pretty strong. Let’s quickly go make some money」

After they woke up in the morning, Marth was talking to Lilia with slight hesitation while they were making out while being naked as usual.

Marth strongly believes that the guy in the relationship should be paying the bills, so he had a hard time saying that he was out of money.

That is also a perception that was influenced by being a virgin in modern Japan.

Without looking disgusted at all, Lilia did a little fist pump as she responded.

Her stronger than expected reaction frankly raised some questions inside Marth’s mind.

He knew that she could fight, but he did not think that she was strong.

「Really? Even though you’re this cute?」

「Appearance has nothing to do with how strong a person is…And I know you don’t discriminate against people like this, master, but I’m an elf. Due to our racial advantage, we are better at using magic than humans. Not only is there an overwhelming difference in the amount of mana we have since birth, but since we also live longer, we have more time to learn magic. We elves have nothing that’s inferior to fragile humans. Ahhh, but master, you’re the only exception, okay?」

Lilia covered for Marth as if she was reminded of something.

The two exited the inn and walked towards the dungeon located at the center of the city.

The city they’re in is a【Labyrinth City】called Sekhmet.

It’s a new, emerging city that’s built around the dungeon that is called『Sekhmet』 by the indigenous people who live near the area.

The dungeon was a cavern type dungeon.

Since it was the most standard type, it’s presumed that the difficulty of it is probably lower than other dungeons.

In the currently explored parts of the dungeon, the levels of the monsters there are not high.

However, it’s a fact that the dungeon has still not yet been conquered, and average folks have a hard time in there although it’s said that the difficulty level is low.

To this date, all the people that have conquered a dungeon were either originally high ranked adventurers or humans who were called heroes.

Only those with solid talent, experience, and complete preparation all together could ever conquer a dungeon.

There are lots of unknowns about dungeons.

What people do know about them is that the ones who conquered a dungeon could get their hands on a massive fortune, there will always be a secret path somewhere on the floors that lets you advance to the next level, the monsters are stronger the deeper you go, and there are traps in there.

And dungeons that look like man-made buildings――such as palaces and mansions, were more difficult. The outer appearance of a dungeon and the inside are not the same at all. Even if a dungeon looks like a mansion on the outside, the inside would be a complete maze.

The streets of Sekhmet were lively.

Although the development of roads wasn’t fully complete since the city was built in a hurry, there were many people and resources flowing in. It was close to the shopping districts in large cities from Marth’s past life.

Every day was as lively as a festival.

The small difference would be that the people were all carrying noisy equipment with them.

Most of the people on the streets are adventurers, merchants, and guards. It could be understood with a glance that the ones who didn’t seem to have any equipment on them were either nobles or some kind of rich people with special privileges.

The sight of people walking as they carried some kind of weapon instead of umbrellas on the street was not something that Marth could get used to no matter how many times he saw it, he thought.

“Slavery is good”. the world’s moral values were completely different.

There was no such thing as violating the firearms and swords control law in this world. Since the people who don’t carry weapons are the minority, such laws aren’t a thing.

The two of them walked on the crowded streets. It was so crowded that if they didn’t pay attention to each other, they would get separated from each other instantly.

「Once we have some money, I want to get you a new bow as well once~」

「But I’m fine even with the way things are, you know? In the human society, there’s a saying that goes “An unskilled elf is one that complains about their bows”」

Lilia boasted.

Marth thought her slight arrogance and her slightly high sense of pride was cute.

「So it’s something like “A good craftsman doesn’t blame his tools”, huh? But don’t you want a magic-bow or something like that?」

「Since I make the arrows myself…If I must choose something, I would like a bow that’s a bit lighter…My archery is different from regular people’s, so heavy bows are a little bit tricky to use」

「Your breasts are huge after all…I wonder if a bow that’s made for shooting sideways would be the best for you」

Lilia’s way of shooting is to hold the bow horizontally with her left-hand and shoot.

Since her breasts get in the way, she can’t shoot with the normal method. I honestly think that it’s amazing she has such high accuracy shooting even when she does it in such an uncomfortable way.

「Even if you’re going to buy one for me, magic weapons cost a lot, so I don’t mind if we put that on hold for now. If we happen to get one by chance then great. What’s more important is master’s equipment. As a slave, it’s normal for me to get the leftovers. The value of our lives is different」

「Ahh, don’t worry about me. And the value of life is the same for everyone. No one’s life is worth more or less than someone else’s」

A majority of Marth’s initial equipment, the little savings he saved up for 17 years, and part of the extra earnings he had from a year ago were all gone at the time he bought Lilia.

What he has left is just a cheap-looking dagger and a sword. The dagger is used for everyday life usage instead of battles.

It’s what Marth uses to cut up food ingredients. In short, it’s close to a multi-purpose kitchen knife.

The money they made after Lilia’s purchase was also spent on Lilia’s clothes, accessories, lodging, and food, so Marth doesn’t have any money that could be called his asset.

Since Marth passed away in his previous life without blowing any of the money he saved, he has been living in the moment ever since he was reborn in this world.

The life Marth wants now is one that doesn’t have any ambitions to rise in the world as he just wants to cherish the people around him. It’s a 180-degree change from his previous lifestyle.

Marry quickly and have kids, then build a home and hangout with friends on holidays.

Marth used to make fun of those people in his past life, but now he feels like that’s his dream lifestyle.

――Things like savings…they are meaningless when the person is dead.

The savings he had were probably collected by the national treasury. His previous life was nothing but fertilizer for some random strangers. He won’t be known or thanked, his savings will merely be spent by them.

Since Marth came to realize that, he stopped caring about saving money. He was never interested in money in the first place.

「Once we make some money, let’s go buy some things for you first, Lilia. We’ll go to the clothing stores and buy a lot of cute and sexy clothes. We’ll go eat tons of delicious food. Hey, like the recently popular sweets. I want to try them too」

「That sounds nice ♡ …is what I would like to say, but aren’t you spoiling me a little too much, master? I’m your slave, you know?」

The one who is fixated on the disparity of social status is Lilia rather than Marth who is the master.

Marth feels weird that Lilia is willing to be a slave.

「Do you not like it?」

「No, I wouldn’t dare. I’m just…a little scared. I might not live on if you die, master」

「Don’t worry. I’m never going to disappear」

――For that reason, Marth wants the 【Forbidden Grimoire】.

The luxuries that Marth wants to spoil Lilia with could not be bought in this world even if he had money.

In this world where technology development does not progress, there aren’t even cars. In other words, symbols of wealth such as luxury cars and things like that do not exist.

Maybe it’s due to the fact that magic exists, the field called science doesn’t even exist. To Marth who only knew about civilization with electricity, he was greatly bewildered when he was reborn.

There wasn’t as much entertainment as the modern world either.

Many people struggle to make their living costs in this world, so most humans don’t have leisure time or any extra money to spend.

It was natural that Marth would quickly lose his interest in having money since he lived in modern Japan.

Even the food in this world, no matter how much money he spends, convenience store food from Japan would still taste overwhelmingly better.

They would enter places that look like high-class-looking restaurants, but what they would get served with was ridiculous frozen food quality food.

Marth thought it was stupid, so he stopped blowing money on his own food.

On the other hand, he would let Lilia, who only has the food of this world as her standard, eat to her heart’s content.

He honestly thought that it was adorable how she eats while making the food look so good.

Although she is his lover, he felt like it was like watching his daughter eat.

In the beginning, he thought that elves are vegetarians, but it turns out that they aren’t and they normally eat meat as well. Because of that, he didn’t have much trouble preparing food for her.

Marth also wants her to eat meat normally. That’s because meat is the most delicious food.

Lilia had once shown her teeth to him once like “Look, I have a canine tooth too” as proof of her being omnivorous. Marth put her in a playful headlock right after that.

Lilia’s favorite food seems to be vegetables.

That made Marth wonder how her breasts got so big, but after thinking about it, he recalled that cows eat grass as well.

If this world is all that a person knows then they might be obsessed with money, but if they know more than that, then everything is just meh.

The things that interest Marth could not be purchased with money. It’s something that he could only experience in this world of magic. That’s why what Marth is infatuated with right now is his relationship with Lilia, and his relationship with the dungeon.

To him, what’s shining in this boring world is Lilia’s existence and his curiosity to discover the unknown.

The thing that he’s most interested in is the 【Forbidden Grimoire】.

Even in a world of magic, it was something that’s clearly irregular. You could call it a “cheat”.

――If it’s such a broken item, it might even be possible to extend his life with it.

Lilia doesn’t talk about it, but her time as an elf is different from Marth’s.

Eventually, Marth will die first. Also, Lilia will stay young while Marth grows old. He hated that.

That’s why Marth decided to rely on the power of the 【Forbidden Grimoire】.

To live not alone, but with somebody. Marth began to be obsessed with that idea which he could not achieve in his past life.

――Dying alone…or getting killed alone sucks.

「After all, the bow is important to an elf. I want to buy a proper one for you. I’m the type that wants all party members to have a close balance in equipment」

Marth always played the characters in games like that in the past.

The levels and equipment of his characters were always nicely matched.

He’s the type that whenever he goes to town, he’ll buy them the most expensive pieces of equipment, and if he can’t buy them, he will go level up and make more money.

「…Master, you’re a strange person, you know? Even though you surprisingly don’t know about common knowledge, you know about things that aren’t common. You don’t know much about elves, but you know about small details like that. It’s strange. It doesn’t make sense, I should say」

Lilia looked puzzled.

Marth clearly doesn’t know about things that average people know.

To be exact, he doesn’t have any basic knowledge.

He’s like a child who doesn’t know division or multiplication but knows about trigonometric functions.

He didn’t even know that elves as a race were being oppressed.

「Ah, ahh…how can I explain it? I’ll tell you if there’s a chance next time. But basically, the sources of my knowledge were different」

――That’s because the source of his knowledge came from before he came to this world…

This world’s knowledge was being added to his knowledge from modern Japan.

Because of that, Marth knows that there are contradictions with reality.

It’s also because he had been focusing on something else.

He knows about the characteristics of elves, but that knowledge came from games and manga.

He doesn’t really know much about the elves that exist in this new world.

It’s like having only a vague image of Indians and thinking they all like curry. It’s on the level of prejudice.

That’s why life somewhat did not feel real to him.

Even though he’s living in this world, inside, he feels like he’s looking at himself through another person’s lens from somewhere far away.

Lilia had always thought that Marth was strange ever since she met him.

――It was as if knowledge was just falling into him from the sky.

Marth’s knowledge was clearly skewed.

He doesn’t know one, but he knows ten.

Marth has not revealed the fact that he was a reincarnated person to anybody.

He does not want to stand out. He knows that he will be attacked if he catches people’s attention.

Not to mention, this world is fundamentally not safe. Including Lilia, the value of life is so low that slavery exists. If he stands out, his life will be in danger.

「So hey…why did you choose those clothes?」

Marth stared at Lilia as he scanned her from top to bottom, ogling her.

「D-do I look weird…?」

Lilia twirled around and asked anxiously about her outfit.

「Nono, you look super cute, you know? Seriously, you look lovely」

「You’re going to make me embarrassed」

What Marth was looking at were Lilia’s clothes.

Lilia has a lot of clothes. That’s because that’s what Marth spends all his money on.

Many of them are fashionable clothes, but some of them are sexy costumes for night time. A majority of them are particularly specially tailored.

That might be where Marth utilized the most out of his modern japanese knowledge, he laughed at himself.

Although Lilia is about to dive into the dungeon from now on, she was wearing a rather exposed outfit out of the many clothes she has.

“I guess she’s like girls who underestimate mountains and dress fashionably when going climbing”, Marth thought of it like that and calmed down a little.

Her white skin, and her sexy curves were fully visible.

Just looking at her made him horny. It forcefully made Marth think of how her body feels when he touches her.

Lilia is from the elven race that’s being oppressed, but she does not hide her ears.

He thought that it’s a matter of pride, so Marth did not speak up about it.

“It would be better if you hide your ears”, Lilia herself should be very aware of that.

He should not mess with people’s convictions. So-called “landmines” are in stranger places than one thinks.

――However, the outfit she’s wearing was not for dungeon conquering. It’s a uniform for children making. He bought it with that as the real purpose.

Her upper body could be seen even with a piece of thin and transparent cloth on top of her bikini.

Marth’s eyes were drawn to those deep valleys of Lilia’s.

As for her lower body, her belly was showing, and she wore a piece of cloth around her waist like a chinese dress. But the slit was deep, so one side of her thighs was exposed.

After he looked at her belly button, Marth began looking at her hips and the start of the slit.

Normally, that’s where he could see a part of her panties.

「…Are you wearing any underwear? You should be but I can’t see it?」

「I am properly wearing some, you know? I found these string ones, see look」

「Oh, you’re wearing that one. I like that one…but it’s not for everyday use. They are for night time. I had them made so that they could be untied. ――And don’t you think your outfit is too sexy? You’ll attract men that way you know?」

「Is that so? But we usually wear something like this in the forest. I’m personally used to dressing like this. It doesn’t restrict my joints and it’s easy to move in」

「Ahh this is how I want you to dress in bed after all. It’s making me really horny. It makes me want to conquer another dungeon right now」

「Another dungeon?」

「No, nevermind…」

Lilia might hate me if she finds out that I called her pussy a dungeon.

「Hahh! Are you trying to bring a monster into the dungeon?」

Now, let’s dive into the dungeon~ when Marth was writing his name on the roster at the dungeon’s entrance, a man with silver-colored hair that was parted down the middle called out to him.

The man looked to be in his early 20’s. He was slender and tall, with neat facial features.

He was wearing white armor, and there was a long sword by his waist. His sword handle’s patterns were unnecessarily gorgeous. It looked far from being practical.

From his outer appearance alone, one could say he looked like a noble knight.

The man laughed and hurled insults at Lilia.

But Marth did not notice that the man was talking to him.

Because he doesn’t think that he was bringing a monster in there.

What the man called a monster was the elf, Lilia.

His most beloved person who he makes love to and flirts with every night.

From that man’s point of view, he was just joking around casually. However, that is going to turn his life upside down.
