Thirty-fourth day: To Divorce or Not to Divorce (2)

Liang Yan felt the old man’s loneliness as soon as he opened the door. Liang Yan smiled and greeted, “Hello, grandpa. We’re here to clean your house today.”

Zhao Yu added, “Hello, grandpa.”

“Good, good…” the grandpa nodded. The program crew already came here to inform the old man that someone would come and clean his house, so he waited. “Thank you, come in quickly.”

Liang Yan squeezed Luo Luo’s little hand as she said, “Luo Luo, greet grandpa.”

Luo Luo bit her finger, a bit scared of the grandfather. But since Liang Yan encouraged her, she yelled tenderly, “Hello, grandpa!”

The grandfather had already turned around, but when he heard Luo Luo’s voice, he turned back and looked  down. He finally noticed that Liang Yan and Zhao Yu had little children with them.

Luo Luo thought that the grandfather didn’t hear her, so she let go of Liang Yan’s hand courageously and walked forward. The little girl pulled a finger of grandpa that she could reach and said, “Hello, grandpa!”

In the live video, the grandfather’s eyes became red-rimmed upon hearing the two “Hello, grandpa.”

Then, the camera panned on Luo Luo’s hand holding onto the old man’s fingers.

An immature, small hand held onto the old man’s fingers.

This scene touched the audiences.

Liang Yan received the apple, and Luo Luo wanted to help her clean the glass again.
