Glaskan subjugation battle (7)

thank you.

I look up in the damp air of dawn.

This is not an appropriate situation to discuss later. But let me tell you something...

Thanks to the performance of the first-year aces the situation was barely over before it got to the worst. It seems that Tailly’s swordsmanship appeared at the right time. If there is a sword ceremony the scenario itself will hardly be blocked for the time being so I am relieved for now.

Half-ruptured nail tube and Glock tube.

Broken street trees are piled up here and there benches and fences used as barricades and the marble floor of the student plaza is shattered by Tarkan’s rampage. Other parts of the faculty building may not be in normal condition either.

The act of calculating the amount of damage is meaningless. Because it cannot be calculated accurately anyway.

There were some serious injuries and the number of minor injuries is incalculable. Fortunately there were no casualties.

“To put it bluntly I blame you.”

Tailly who had her head down had wounds all over her body. He is a gay guy who ran around the teaching building and gathered a punitive force and it was probably this guy who ran around with a sword in every battle and cut down Belos Per and Glas Khan.

It was a truly glorious achievement and deserved praise from those around her but Tailley did not raise her eyebrows at all.

“I think you know better why.”

There is still hostility in Tailley’s eyes.

I look around.

The punitive forces who had gone through all the hardships were gathered together. The location is in front of the student center with all work completed. It is the path to a glorious return.

If we return to the station in the center of the student square the students there will end the story of this long night by applauding and cheering in unison.

It was a long and difficult night but somehow we got through it. Act 1 ends with such a monologue. It goes straight to the second act episode which deals with the war of nerves between the Elte Chamber of Commerce and the academic faculty.

“Still the reason I owe you is because you lost.”

Tailley’s hostility did not disappear but he still spoke clearly.

“I should at least say hello. No matter how much I resent you if you hadn’t stopped Tarkan the subjugation itself would not have been possible in the first place.”

Even though I grit my teeth in response to hostility I clearly show respect to those who are indebted to me. Tailley McLaure was that kind of person.

“I heard Tailly is very stubborn too. Ah haha. If you don’t like it you can just say no. I’m grateful for this and I don’t like this. Is it easy to sort out your emotions that way?”

Nosy Elvira burst out laughing wondering what was so fun about being in such a state of disrepair.

that’s right! Taily! There is no need to show respect to this kind of person! He only helped because his own life was in danger anyway so he’s the kind of person who will stab you again if their interests don’t align?! When he caught Takan he used me as bait and treated my life like the life of a fly... ! People like this are just... !”

“Clevius is noisy.”

“You talk a lot Clevius.”

“Be quiet Clevious.”

When Fenia Lortel Zix interrupted Clevius’s words with different timing he became intimidated and walked along quietly with his shoulders slumped.

“Taylor is right. Ed. I can’t trust you blindly but I’m sure you’ve accomplished a lot. That is definitely something that deserves to be evaluated. “If you submit a recommendation to the student committee you will most likely receive something.”

“There is no need to say that much. Princess.”

I only spoke objective facts.

“Anyway the number one contributor to the subjugation of Tarkan was Lucy and Tailley cut down Velosfer and Glaskan so there is no need to overestimate what I did. Please focus on that rather than on me.”

“Oh my gosh credit to you. It is a fact that everyone knows that Lucy and Tailly were active. We’re talking about other things. Or why? I’m embarrassed?

“One grade higher. Be respectful Elvira.”

Ziggs indifferently fed Elvira honey chestnuts. Leaving behind Elvira who was making her right noises and stroking her hair Ziggs spoke to her.

“Well anyway let’s talk about the details after we go to the garrison. Senior Ed. “It’s not something that can be concluded on a street like this.”

“... ”

I stood still in my seat.

The punitive forces who were slowly advancing towards the student plaza are slowly moving away. When they suddenly realize that I am standing still and letting them go one by one they turn around and look at me.

In the crack of dawn the battered people are returning with the news of victory.

Taily Ayla Fenia Zix Lortel Clevious Elvira.

The reason I felt so reassured by the line of main characters who would lead the scenario was because I had an unfounded confidence that they would somehow solve the ordeals that would arise.

I have watched them many times and have seen many cases where they are caught up in various variables and unexpected events.

This battle to subjugate Glaskan was shaky due to a ridiculous twist that completely destroyed the premise of the story but wouldn’t most things be done well without variables of that magnitude at play?

When I look at those characters I end up thinking the same thing.

I have maintained a policy of keeping my distance from the main characters in order not to affect the flow of the scenario. However when I look at them like this I can’t help but feel warm feelings. I have watched them over and over again each playing their own role in this world and solving their own problems.

Tailie becomes stronger as trials come upon her. For Tailley she accepts her fate as the stronger Aila monarch. Ziggs finds his own path in the cracks of the Fenian civilization as he grows older. He reflects on his life of being buried in gold coins. Lortel Clevius becomes confident in himself Elvira who realizes that fun and interest are not everything in life.

I am well aware of all the trials and success stories that unfold before each face.

They are all main characters with their own roles to play and although the road may be bumpy and rough at times a sparkling red carpet will greet them at the end.

What is at the end is a trophy called success. Everyone will praise the brilliant hero’s life.

“I left something in the nail tube. “Go first.”

I turned my head because I knew that fact well.

Now that the situation is settled it’s time to put the empty puzzle pieces together.

The location is Nailgwan’s combat training center. When you walk along the half-destroyed nail hall corridor and open the large wooden door you enter... The sight of the combat training range unfolding before your eyes is beyond words.

Due to Ziggs’ wind magic all the seats have been blown away the floor is dented here and there the curtains are all burned and there are gaping holes in the walls.

The ceiling that Glaskan’s right arm blew off is clearly open showing the sky as the darkness begins to recede.

Traces of the final battle against Velosper.

The stage after the story ends.

It is a space like the back of the stage that cannot be accessed during the ‘Failed Swordsman of Sylvania’ scenario.

I made my way across the messy rows of seats to the front of the podium. There is a spare podium at the bottom. It was the exact place where Lucy took a nap during joint combat practice.

-Rattle

When I opened the wooden door underneath I saw Yenika holding her knees hehehe... And she was smiling. She looked embarrassed because she had been caught hiding.

*

“It was more cozy than I thought. “Lucy I think I know why she was napping here.”

The podium of the half-destroyed combat training center.

I sat there side by side with Yenika and looked at the sky. The barrier that covered the sky and isolated the teaching building was cracking little by little.

The reason why Yenika appeared as the boss in Act 1 was probably to talk about the dark side hidden behind Tailly’s actions so she was ultimately the antithesis of the main character Tailly.

Since he put that much effort into it it wouldn’t be strange for him to take up the position as the first act boss. However keeping the message hidden like this is only a pain in the ass for the player. Are there all these perverted hidden elements?

oh... ”

Suddenly I let out words of admiration at the sight before my eyes.

Spirits have no concept of death. Even if you cut off its head all it does is release the ‘appearance’ and return to a fluid state. However the power itself is greatly weakened and it takes an enormous amount of time to recover.

So far I haven’t seen any spirits in my eyes. However when I looked at the combat training center with eyes fully trained in sensing spirits I saw spirits creeping up from all over the remains of the half-destroyed building. It is very beautiful when combined with the light of the sun starting to rise.

The spirits whose berserk magic has been lifted gather around Yenika one by one as if to comfort her.

“What will happen to me? now.

“It will be referred to the disciplinary committee.”

then... “I wonder if I’ll be expelled from school.”

well.

As far as I know they don’t even lead to expulsion. Because in the ending credits Yenika shows her face briefly.

However what happens after this is completely unknown territory.

Jenica who came off the stage now becomes a completely separate character from the main scenario. She becomes a past villain who is pushed to the back of the story without having any significant impact on the scenario anymore.

The reason I feel somehow familiar with that position is probably because it’s not someone else’s story.

“First of all since you are a victim controlled by Velosper there will be some extenuating circumstances.”

“Is that so?”

“Still it won’t completely erase the sins you committed... . “Professor McDowell who holds the position of highest dean is student-friendly and would be wary of quickly expelling a second-year senior.”

It is safe to say that the second year without Yenika is truly hopeless. All of the professors in charge of the second year will be working hard to stop Yenika from being expelled.

In addition Yenika’s behavior and reputation are good and she has accomplished many things and the students will all write a petition in favor of Yenika... If you are lucky there is a possibility that it will end in probation or suspension. You might have to be lucky though.

“You know Ed. “Can I say something embarrassing?”

What.

“I imagined that when the punitive force attacked.”

Suddenly I looked up and saw a breaking barrier in the early morning sky. It sparkles in the sunlight shining from the east. It was quite a dazzling sight.

“Wouldn’t someone just show up solve this whole situation with their immense power grab my hand and run away? “Wouldn’t it be nice to resolve everything so I don’t have to worry about anything and kindly tell me that it’s okay?”

“Would something like that happen?”

“I guess so. huh. “Something like that is only possible in fairy tales.”

Yenika laughed “Ehehe.”

Then he nods his head in agreement with a bright smile.

– ‘I want you to save Yenika someday.’

It is not until that time that the wind wolf’s message comes to mind again. It was a spirit that thought of and loved Yenika more than anyone else.

I had it in the back of my mind but if I thought about it again it was strange.

This situation in which Jenica was dominated by Belosper and ended up causing trouble in the faculty building was future knowledge that only I knew.

Yet despite this you are telling me stories like asking me to save Yenika. Doesn’t it seem like the wind spirit also knew this future? Of course that can’t be the case.

I am in a position to know what will happen to Yenika in the future. If you ask someone like that to save Yenika or something it will naturally sound like you are asking Yenika to get out of the crisis she is in.

Even though the wolf’s message probably didn’t mean that.

In other words thorough information superiority has actually become toxic.

Perhaps the wind wolf could sense Yenika’s feelings of being cornered faster than anyone else.

However sincere encouragement and worried advice are actually poisonous to the girl.

The heavier the other person’s sincerity the more seriously the girl accepts that sincerity.

What you need is something that is infinitely light but not cold at all... It must have been a faint word of encouragement like that lukewarm bath.

But to a girl such words of encouragement are more precious than gold. Because everyone who saw that lovely girl hit her with all their heart.

In the end the boy who kept a strange distance from the girl and tried to push her away was probably more suitable than anyone else. At least that’s what the wind wolf seems to have concluded.

He wanted Yenika to be able to lean on someone who would not burden her with heavy sincerity.

“Hey Yenika.”

That’s why I called Yenika quietly.

“It was a lot of hard work.”

I wonder if that single word broke the emotional support of Yenika who was sitting with her knees in her arms.

Yenica soon put away the smile she had been trying to smile and quietly buried her face in her knees.

As a result the Yenica Failover failed.

He tried to make a contract with a new high-ranking spirit but because he implemented the summoning ceremony hastily his heart was eaten by the dark spirit and the teaching building was destroyed.

It was a huge failure that would be difficult to pick up again but the process must have been sincere.

He must have studied until late at night every day practiced magic smiled at his family classmates and faculty who supported him wholeheartedly and worked up a lot of energy to live up to their expectations in a place where no one could see. Because the process was beautiful paradoxically the failure was also beautiful. I don’t know how much comfort that will be.

Spirits flock in as if to comfort the girl who is quietly shaking. It seemed like you were saying that you tried hard enough.

The girl who normally would have smiled brightly and hugged the spirits showed no reaction today and just shook her shoulders.

Dawn breaks. The stage must move on to the next act.

At the student square students cheer for the punitive force that returned with the news of victory.

A procession of proud protagonists passes on stage and applause pours in.

On the other hand the back of the stage is quiet and dark. The villain’s exit in Act 1 is overshadowed by the protagonist’s actions.

Among the spirits a girl who had experienced her first failure in life was left quietly sobbing.

For some reason I didn’t comfort or encourage him with all my sincerity. That’s the correct answer.

This is the first act that I have played countless times.

I finally felt like I had finally reached the end.
