[23 Hours: 32 minutes: 14 seconds!]-BOOM!
Running through the 4th floor hallway of the building, I looked at an incoming group of monsters from the stairways and then shot another 7 bullets killing them in an instant as my agility increased by another 7 points.
With increased speed, I ran faster, passing the dead bodies of the fallen water goblins, reaching the window at the end of the hallway. Jumping out of the window, I then reached the balcony of the next building.
Turning around, I saw the horde of the monsters that was coming behind me. Pointing my guns at them, I then poured 5000 of the MP that I saved in my gloves before…
-BOOOM!!!
A huge blast came out of my guns as it passed through the window first, and then the incoming monsters next. My eyes traced the amount of GM points that I have collected in the past 20 minutes or so.
[GM Points: 221,500!]
Thinking that I had enough, I then focused on the [Item] that I wanted to upgrade the most right now.
[Stealth Cloak!
Grade: C
Effect: Decreases the presence of the user greatly!]
Since I was running low on time, I decided to go with a minor change for now.
[Stealth Cloak!
Grade: C
Effect: Removes the presence of the user completely! All the movements, sound produced by the user will be silenced!]
[Would you like to make the following changes for 20,000 GM Points?]
Clicking [Yes!]I then parkoured up the building before jumping back to the previous building. The goblins who lost my presence tried looking around everywhere, while I observed the situation, first.
Though, my eyes locked in with one of the red goblins flying on a pelikan a hundred meters away, as he narrowed his eyes at me before giving a rather ugly smile.
"Shit," I cursed before jumping into the building and running to the stairways. There were some water goblins, but unlike the red goblins, they don't seem to be able to sense me at all.
[Would you like to add [Absolute Silence!] feature to [Twin Guns of Azeroth] for 70,000 GM Points?]
[Yes!]
That leaves me slightly above 140,000 GM Points, as I wondered how I should spend it. Surely, I can use it to upgrade the guns, but since I was doing fair with my hunt, I decided to focus more on defense than offense.
A million points in offense won't mean shit if I die in a single hit.
And with that thought point, I then looked at my armor.
[Armour: Black Leather Armor of Grace!
Grade: D
Durability: 5000/5000
Effects:
+5 Constitution!]
Doing a bit of this and then a bit of that…
[Armor: Black Leather Armor of Grace!
Grade: C
Durability: 50,000/50,000!
Effects:
+500 Defence!
+20 Constitution!
+Reflects 20% of the incoming damage as an attack!]
[Would you like to make the following changes for 210,000 GM Points?]
'Should I change the effects?' I gave it a bit of thought before looking at the number of goblins around me. And then I sighed before I pointed my gun at the goblin right beside me as he was searching for 'me'.
-Thud!
Without any sound produced, the gun blasted the head of that goblin before it fell lifeless on the ground. Without wasting any time, I took a deep breath as I observed any signs of that red goblin.
'Let's hurry up,' I thought as I then began my hunt again. This time silently.
Bodies of goblins kept falling before they knew what happened. The silence seemed deadly, as my speed only increased with each kill, and I kept hurrying up faster as I jumped from this building to the next one.
The goal was 210k GM Points. I have 154,000 Points right now. Roughly around 400 water goblins. And if I kill about 50 Goblins in a minute, that's about 8 minutes.
'10 Minutes give or take,' I sighed as I kept hunting while hiding from those red goblins. While I fought two of them with [Hunt!], I don't know if I could do the same without that skill. Especially now that all of them were using their special aura.
The first minute passed, as I was able to evade the red goblins. The next minute wasn't so favorable as one of them sighted me, and I had to make a run before he could reach me.
In the fourth minute, I found myself behind one of the red goblin riders. Without wasting time, I shot two shots through the window, one at the red goblin and another at the pelikan he was riding. Each filled with 1000 Mana Points.
[You have killed a D-Grade Monster: Demonic Red Goblin!]
[You have killed a D-Grade Monster: Soldier Pelikan!]
'That should save some time,' I thought as I began running even faster. It was a race against time, as I had to secure a proper location for another shot since some of the red goblins will be coming here.
To avoid them while also keeping them in my sight should be difficult, but not impossible.
Within the time that pelikan and the goblin splashed into the water, I ran half the way around them within the building before securing a spot in one of the rooms on the balcony. It wasn't a clear view but it should be enough to shoot if I time my shot correctly.
Waiting for 20 seconds, I saw one of the red goblins appearing in sight and as soon as I got my timing right, I made two more shots.
[You have killed a D-Grade Monster: Demonic Goblin Rider!]
[You have killed a D-Grade Monster: Soldier Pelikan!]
-Whoosh!
And faster than I came, I ran away from there, before resuming my hunt of normal Water Goblins. It was exhausting but drinking another fatigue removal potion, I felt fresh as ever before.
The next 5 minutes were easier since all I needed to do was to run in the opposite direction Of the red goblins, while killing the Goblins on my way. Before I knew it, I crossed the goal that I was aiming for.
[GM Points: 224,750!]
Using 210K immediately on the armor, left me with a measly 14k. But without pausing, I then focused on the next thing that I needed the most in this scenario.
Speed.
[Boots: Black Leather Boots of Grace!
Grade: D
Durability: 2000/2000
Effects:
+2 Agility!]
This one, I wanted to go a bit overboard with. Especially because I needed it the most in fighting against that big goblin later on.
[Boots: Black Leather Boots of Grace!
Grade: B
Durability: 20,000/20,000
Effects:
+100 Agility!
+[Temporary Haste: In the state of running, the User's Stamina and Agility would increase by 10%]
+[Mana Speed Burst: For every 100 MP Used on the boots, the Agility would rise by 1 for 10 minutes!]
[Would you like to make the following changes for 450,000 Points?]
'That's a lot but…' I looked at those red goblins in the distance. They haven't found me yet, but they were searching for me. Normally I wouldn't be doing such a dreadful chore, but since the idea seemed feasible, I decided to give it a try.
It was a simple idea. To kill all the goblins before killing the Main Head of those Goblins.
'Surely, all those goblins should be worth at least that much, right?' I thought before deciding to stretch a little and then restart the hunt once again. Grinding isn't really fun but I guess the rewards are appealing enough.
…
In a huge hallway filled with hundreds of flying white goblins like that of the one which was overseeing the tutorial, there was a single man standing at an elevated platform at one corner of the world hallway. Sёarᴄh the Novelƒire(.)ne*t website on Google to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.
The Administrator of All the Tutorials taking place on earth.
He was a bulky muscular man with a towering height of 5 meters. In essence he was a half-giant and a half-human. And being half-human, he was given the authority of the tutorial including but not limited to Adrian's.
"It seems we are at the end of this time's tutorial Level 3. Chief Watcher, how is the preparation in the safe zone going on?" The Administrator asked as he looked at information present on the screen in front of him.
About 10% of the humans had survived the tutorial up until now, which was much better than what anyone had expected.
"Those who have died early on, had already reached the tutorial safe zone. While those who are surviving should reach there without any problem. We also made sure that the Gods don't interfere with them reaching the safe zone," the chief Watcher, a white goblin with golden horns, spoke with a respectful nod as he corrected his glasses.
Adrian and the others did not know that even if they were to die, they will still be able to reach a safer place, just like all the other people who have died have been transferred. The reason for the existence of the tutorial wasn't to kill the weak and protect the strong, but instead to provide an equal chance for them to grow stronger.
The points they were amassing in the tutorial was the currency of the entire safe zone and beyond. The points earned in the tutorial were way more important than the items that the shop was having.
You will need points for living, eating, buying weapons, items, etc. Later on, you will even need points for leveling up or buying skill slots, which can only be done after you have finished the tutorial. Though there were other ways of amassing points, none were even close to comparable to the number of points that the first three levels of tutorial will provide.
But that's something that Adrian and the others will learn in detail later on in the safe zone.
"Good. Moving onto the next point of discussion, are there any Players that are worth looking over? Surely there should be some with Heaven Rank, or even Immortal Rank?" Asked the Administrator with great interest as he screened the entire hallway.
And surely there were a couple of white goblins who raised their hands with ecstacy. Among the ones who kept their hand down was a certain goblin, who even though had a person with heaven grade's talent, he did not raise it.
His reasons were only his to be known, but his dirty smile said that he was planning something big. He was the goblin that was overseeing the tutorial that Adrian was watching, and even though he could have told everyone about the existence of an anomaly like Adrian, he decided not to.
After all, a promotion he could gain from telling the administrator about Adrian wasn't even close to worth what he could gain by sticking close to Adrian.
"Two Immortal Gifts?! HAHAHAHA! This is truly a miraculous event! Seems like there are going to be huge waves in the Safe zone again," the administrator laughed as he looked at a certain white goblin with a smug look.
Even Adrian's tutorial watcher was envious a bit hearing that. But it was not the end…
"A Mythical Grade?!!!" Even the administrator was shocked as he heard the report from a small time goblin. With a look of disbelief, he observed the goblin's report again and again but when he confirmed it, he had a rather serious expression.
"Make sure to protect him from those bastard Gods. Or else they will disrupt the power balance even more than it already is. We need the tutorials to be free from any disturbance rather than a one man show," he added as the others around him nodded.
Adrian's watcher looked at that certain goblin with a glint of envy, but then recalling what Adrian was capable of, he calmed himself down. After all, in the centuries that he has served, he has never seen anyone capable of making changes to the system items itself.
Maybe after the tutorial, but within the tutorial? Never. And obviously not even close to the extent of which Adrian showed.
"I wonder if my tutorial will also end before the 24 hours are over?" The watcher spoke, making nearby goblins look at him with pity. Though they were all thinking that all the players in his place must be getting wiped, he was wondering if Adrian might wipe all the goblins on his own?
From what he had seen up until now… it wasn't certainly impossible.
