As Li Shen fight against the tribulation with his life and the others on the line, he was blaming himself. It was fine if he was the only one who was suffering from his mistake, but the others were implicated because of him.
Li Shen now knew that because he was in a separate dimension, the Heavenly Tribulation for his breakthrough was delayed. After he exited with Fang Chen and Jun, he was dumbfounded when Heavenly Pressure fell from the sky and dark clouds began to form above him.
By the time the others came out right after could escape with Fang Chen and Jun, the Heavenly Tribulation was already formed.
However, Li Shen was blaming himself too much.
It wasn’t that he entirely forgot about the possibility of him undergoing a Heavenly Tribulation, but when he went back in time and talk to his ancestor Qin Bai, and even had that ancestor tell him someone said to kill his disciple Yang Su. How could he focus on going through a Heavenly Tribulation that was completely absent?
Cultivators were naturally able to feel the presence of a Heavenly Tribulation coming, but because of the Dimension, he didn’t feel it.
Even when Yang Su asked about his Heavenly Tribulations, why he didn't go through a Heavenly Tribulation barely passed through Li Shen’s mind.
Yang Su can go through his Heavenly Tribulation but he didn’t even sense his. Then that means he had none.
With Fang Chen missing as well as the matter with Yang Su’s strange aura, he had completely neglected himself.
He was too focused on solving everyone else’s peculiar situations that he hadn’t realized his own.
As for how Yang Su had managed to go through his Heavenly Tribulations in this dimension but he couldn’t.
That could be explained by how terrifyingly strong this Heavenly Tribulation itself was. The laws in the dimension could have never been able to support such a massive tribulation.
Mo Rong was right in his observations, this Heavenly Tribulation was out to eradicate Li Shen in body and soul.
Li Shen’s body in the air suddenly wobbled from the strike of a lightning bolt he was too late to block.
Yang Su and the others below saw this and their hearts dropped to the pit of their stomachs, while worry wrack their entire being.
However, Li Shen’s body quickly stabilized in the air and he manage to continue conjuring Sword Qi to withstand the lightning.
“Why is this lightning tribulation so strong? Master isn’t going to be able to last for much longer.”
Lihua turned to look at Yang Su to see he was clenching his fists. Upon seeing the look in his eyes, Lihua realized that he had the intention to fly towards Li Shen.
Lihua immediately said in a harsh tone.
“Where do you think you’re going? Do you think you’ll be anything else other than a hindrance? Don’t overestimate your abilities.”
Yang Su hearing that shot a vicious glare at Lihua and barked.
“So what are we supposed to do?! Just watch Master sacrifices himself to protect us?!!”
Seeing that a conflict would soon arise, Fei Yin immediately step forward to be the mediator as always. He grabbed Yang Su’s shoulder and said calmly.
“Yang Su, sister Lihua is right, we won’t be helping Faction Leader if we interfered now.”
Slap!
Yang Su slapped Fei Yin’s hand off his shoulder before staring at him with an accusatory look and said.
“You of all people should be the first to help big brother Shen when he's in danger. If it weren’t for him, you would have long been dead after trying to off yourself.”
Yang Su actually called Li Shen big brother. It meant he stayed true to his words that he would address Li Shen as Master but see him as an older brother. Even though Yang Su might not have realized his address just change, it just goes to show how high a position Yang Su placed Li Shen in his heart.
Fei Yin hearing Yang Su’s words that were meant to hurt him remain calm. However, Mu Fan by the side glared at Yang Su and said.
“Little brat, don’t go too far with your words. Do you think you’re the only one who cares about his life? We all want to save him but that’s why we chose to remain still. If we move he would expend more energy and attention to keep those lightning bolts away. That’s no better than killing him faster.”
“We need to trust that he can overcome this tribulation, what we should be focusing on is treating brother Jun and brother Chen.”
Fei Yin added calmly to lessen the confrontation in Mu Fan's words.
Yang Su looked at Jun and Fang Chen who were laying to the sides of Lihua. She had both palms on their chests while a blue pearl was hovering over her head. That mysterious blue pearl was releasing strong Water Qi fluctuations, that was enveloping their bodies in a blue glow.
After looking at Jun and Fang Chen, Yang Su actually ignored them and went to fly into the air. It wasn’t that the didn’t care about them, but if he had to choose between saving Li Shen and them, he would unhesitatingly choose Li Shen.
Even if Li Shen himself would disagree with his decision.
Seeing Yang Su’s actions, Mu Fan’s eyes narrowed and the saber he was holding in his arms began to hum.
He was prepared to forcefully stop Yang Su if he continued to act like this. Meanwhile, Tai was in one corner with a nervous expression on his face.
If Tai could, he would like to somehow use his ability to help everyone, but he was just as useless in this situation. The heavenly pressure and the terrifying lightning bolts made sure if he ever dared use his void ability, he would either get crushed inside his pocket dimension or struck to death.
As this entire situation devolved into a mess, Mo Rong who had turned to see what was going on almost burst out laughing.
But he couldn’t help but look at Yang Su and thought internally.
‘This human brat, his existence really isn’t so simple after all. Not only does he have the aura of the Gods, but he also seems strangely attached to that Godling. Just what did that Godling do to him?’
Mo Rong's origins weren’t simple, what hadn’t he seen in his long lifetime and with his status as a prince of a powerful Divine Beast Race? With one glance he could tell that Yang Su’s God aura had something to do with Li Shen. Both their auras were even similar in nature, making him a hundred percent sure Li Shen must have done something to him.
Thinking about how Yang Su was also giving off pure fluctuations of all the six elements, that even he could barely resist gobbling up, Mo Rong seemed to put some pieces of the puzzle together.
“A comprehension cauldron?!”
Mo Rong couldn’t help but exclaim out loud, causing Fang Chen to look at him questioningly.
Mo Rong ignored Fang Chen’s questions of what he meant, as his gaze towards Yang Su turned to pity.
This youth was willing to sacrifice himself for that Godling while not knowing he was being used. If his situation wasn’t sad then no one else’s was.
Not that Mo Rong was complaining, he was actually quite impressed by this Godling's cruel and vile methods. Mo Rong being a creature longing for pure chaos, that was saying something.
