In the Core Formation Realm, one would focus on accumulating Spiritual Qi and move through its minor realms to form their golden core to perfection. But during this process, cultivating the soul should not be neglected, in fact, it might even be more important.
This was due to the fact that the strength of a cultivator's soul in the Core Formation Realm determines how powerful their Nascent Soul upon entering the Nascent Realm would be. With a strong Nascent Soul comprehending the laws of heaven and earth would be much easier.
Strengthening the soul would result in a cultivator's Spiritual Sense increasing, from this cultivators use this as a measurement of how strong the soul is.
Early Core Formation Realm cultivators' Spiritual Sense would normally be three hundred meters. Mid Core Formation Realm cultivators' Spiritual Sense would be six hundred meters, and cultivators at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm Spiritual Sense would be around nine hundred meters.
It was said that 999 meters was the limit and anything beyond that and someone would enter the Nascent. But this is just what has become the norm in the cultivation world, in fact, it wasn't impossible for an Early Core Formation Realm cultivator to have a Spiritual Sense that's 999 meters if they ate some Godly fruit that fell from the heavens.
But while cultivating balance was key. It wasn't beneficial to have an imbalance in the strength of their Soul, Physical bodies, and Internal Qi cultivation.
Not only that, their bodies might not handle their souls being that strong.
But with that being said, it wasn't easy to strengthen the soul. The process was delicate so the speed was slow. Being able to strengthen your soul to reach 999 meters and enter the Nascent Realm was known as a Perfect Ascension.
Only a hand full of people had the potential to achieve this, and upon entering Nascent Realm they would become a terrifying powerhouse that most Nascent Realm cultivators of the same level couldn't compare to in strength. It would probably take several to take them down.
But with a pill that had a 95% medicinal effect, strengthening their souls to that level could be possible even without the potential. Perhaps even surpassing that and entering the Nascent Realm with a Spiritual Sense beyond the one-thousand-meter mark could be possible. After all, there was never a case like this before where a Core Formation had this pill while cultivating, so anything was possible.
Not to mention, wouldn't eating this pill gave them an advantage in the Chosen Tournament?
Most people were focused on actually participating in the Chosen Tournament to be in the top one hundred and enter the Hidden Fragmented realm. But what about the people guaranteed to get into the top one hundred? What were they focused on?
Of course it was becoming as strong as possible to fight for the treasures and resources in the Hidden Fragmented Realm!
It wouldn't even be a surprise if some of these geniuses were suppressing their cultivations at the mid or late Core Formation Realm, and after entering the Hidden Fragmented Realm they would burst forth with their full strength.
But most of them had probably stopped after hearing the Hidden Fragmented Realm had dissipated. For the ones who were still continuing to suppress their cultivations in hopes the Hidden Fragmented Realm would open are probably jumping for joy now.
It was said the Hidden Fragmented Realm despite being in ruins, had pocket spaces with pure Spiritual Qi beyond what one would get from the outside world.
Having a breakthrough in minor realms gave benefits much better than the outside world.
But there was even a more absurd notion that had crossed a few people's minds. It was impossible for Nascent Realm cultivators to enter the Hidden Fragmented Realm, but what about entering while being at the Peak of the Core Formation Realm and then breaking through to the Nascent Realm while inside?
People in the past have done this before, and who were these people in this present time?
They were the Sect Leaders and Clan Leaders of the powerful Sects and Clans on the Star Bound and Maple Continent!
If they got this pill and entered the Hidden Fragmented, they could use the cultivation resources inside to break into the Nascent Soul Realm and become a Nascent Soul Realm powerhouse.
Even if others became Nascent Realm cultivators, they would be invincible inside the Hidden Fragmented Realm and sweep up all the treasures for themselves.
It was safe to say that this pill would cause an uproar in the city when the news come out it was in the auction tomorrow.
Could they really get the pill then? And say they do get their hands on it to help Dai Hee return to being their Faction Leader, could they really keep it?
They would offend literally everyone genius in the city from the Star Bound and even their own Maple Continent.
No, wait!
Chills.
Everyone suddenly felt a cold chill go down their spines
If those from the other continents arrive before the auction tomorrow, they wouldn't only offend geniuses from two Continents but it was possible that they would offend all the geniuses on the four Continents!
As this realization sunk in, everyone's faces became solemn and the room became deathly silent.
"It does matter if we offend every single one of them."
Yang Su suddenly said.
"If this will get Master back, I don't care who I have to kill."
Everyone then saw a vision containing a sea of corpses. Yang Su's killing intent was slowly leaking out and engulfing the room.
Everyone looked at Yang Su slightly shocked by the density of his killing intent, especially Fang Chen. However, they couldn't agree with him more.
Knock.
Knock.
Someone suddenly knocked on the door of their room interrupting the atmosphere.
"Come in."
Lihua said.
Zhi Min was seen entering, and after cupping his fist and bowing he said.
"I have some news to report to the Squad Leaders."
"What is it?"
"News from the city entrance has come in. The ships from the Fire Bound and Water Bound Continent have arrived."
"So they've arrived. Alright, I want to see which bastard dares come after us after we take that pill. I'll lop their heads off all the same."
As Mu Fan said that battle intent rose from his body, and the sheathed saber he probably hadn't let go of since he got it trembled in his arms.
"Is there something else?"
Seeing that Zhi Min hadn't left, Li Wen asked.
"Yes, they're people outside requesting to see Squad Leaders."
Jun frowned.
"Is it the Solitary Sword Sect?"
"No, they said they were from the Profound Sword Sect. It seems to be the genius Lu Shin and his sister-"
"Eh? Sister-in-law Yue is outside?!"
Jun said surprised before he suddenly rushed out the door. The others weren't far behind as they headed out of the room.
….
…
..
At the entrance of the city, a massive ship many, many times larger than the ship the Maple Continent used to get here was landing.
On the bow of this ship stood a figure in all red. This outfit complimented his flowing crimson hair that drifted in the wind after the ship's barrier was lifted.
Sizzle.
Vapor suddenly began radiate from his body as the cold snow met with the hot temperature his body naturally emitted. He was completely unaffected by the cold despite only wearing simple robes that seem like it was moments away from falling off his lean figure.
As the bow of the ship frosted over after the barrier fell, his pale bare feet left footprints as it melted the frost.
"How long has it been?"
The figure could be heard mumbling under his breath. Afterwards, he was seen smiling.
If someone who didn't know this person saw this they would marvel at his appearance. He was too perfect to just be called handsome. Like how the heavens constructed the world to be imperfect, this person's face was the epitome of perfection.
But with that said, if someone who knew this person saw his smile a cold chill would go down their spines while one thought appeared in their minds.
'Why was this blood-thirsty demon smiling? '
This figure continued to smile as his crimson eyes watch the city in front of him.
"It's about time I might my little brother."
The figure said as he turned fast enough to cause his robes to flutter behind him. However, he suddenly froze as he thought of something.
"Wait, how would he react if he saw me? And I can't just appear in front of him, he's part of the Righteous Faction. Should I wait until he enters the Hidden Fragmented Realm?"
This person then began to pace back and forth on the bow of the boat with a nervous expression.
"What is he doing?"
"Who knows? Should we care about what that useless fucker is doing?"
"Yeah, your right. Why did Monarch Gu even take in someone like him as a disciple when he's from that lowly Continent? He should know his place."
A couple of disciples dressed in red robes made of Fiery Silk mocked this young man before ignoring him and making their way off the ship with the hundreds of other disciples.
The young man glanced at them before letting out a sigh.
"I probably shouldn't kill them, my new Master might get angry."
The young man then turned to look at the city again.
"I guess I'll have to wait some more."
The young man wore a disappointed expression as he turned to leave the ship.
