Chapter 473 470- Like A Mirror

“Stop being so dramatic, I barely touched you.”

Li Shen said as he gave Mu Fan who was on the ground a cursory glance.

Mu Fan wined.

“It is you. Bastard, do you want to get hit in the head and see how it feels?”

Mu Fan then glared at Li Shen, but in response, Li Shen merely rolled his eyes and then turn back to check on an unconscious Lu Yue.

Mu Fan also turned to her and asked.

Is she going to be alright?”

“If we can get to Jun in time, then everything will be fine.”

“Is that why you let those bastards get away?”

Mu Fan said as he watch Gu Jin and Shiming fly away with the rest of the Fire Empire’’s disciples and Ming Clan members.

Li Shen shifted his head to look in their direction before turning back to Lu Yue.

“There will come a time when they can longer run away from me, but that time hasn’t come yet. Rather, you should be healing your injuries before thinking about fighting in your condition.”

“It merely scratches, I’m fine!”

Mu Fan said confidentially, but Li Shen suddenly saw blood spurt out from one of his open wounds and land next to where he was sitting beside Lu Yue.

Mu Fan and Li Shen looked at the splat of blood silently, before Li Shen looked at Mu Fan and cocked an eyebrow.

“Hurry and heal your injuries, we’ll leave to find the others soon.”

Mu Fan didn’t say anything as he got into a meditative position and swallowed a handful of pills he grabbed from his storage bag.

Li Shen then went to contact Little Tai through their connection, but all of a sudden the ground beneath them quaked.

Mu Fan’s eyes flew open and he went on high alert, but Li Shen sat there calmly and raised his gaze to the sky.

Seeing this, Mu Fan followed his gaze to the sky as well, but what he saw quickly caused his expression to change to one of shock and horror.

Large fissures were spreading across the crimson sky. In a matter of seconds, the fissures cover the entire dimension; painting an apocalyptic scene.

The sky resembled a broken mirror that was on the verge of shattering.

“What's happening?! Is the dimension collapsing?!”

Mu Fan was stricken with fear, but Li Shen calmly clarified.

“No, it's the Hidden Fragmented Realm, it’s opening.”

Mu Fan looked shocked upon hearing that, but Li Shen went on to explain the Fire Empire's plan was by killing everyone.

Meanwhile, several kilometers away from Li Shen and Mu Fan, Gu Jin was looking up at the sky with a face-splitting grin on his lip.

Shiming on the other hand seemed unfocused as if something was troubling him, but Gu Jin didn’t bother with him.

….

….

..

A few moments ago, in another part of the dimension…

Yang Su was currently standing in a sea of bloody corpses. His hair was slightly red, but whether it was from it turning back to its original color or due to the blood covering him was hard to tell.

He was having a hard time with his sealed Fire Qi. With only the Fire Element inside this dimension, it enlivened his Fire Qi to try and fight against the seal that old man South Boarder placed on him.

'I need to talk to Master about this... and if what that person said was try.'

“Brother… Brother Yang Su?”

One of the disciples who was separated from the group and fell into the Fire Empire’s trap called for Yang Su in a nervous tone.

He and the other disciples just watch in pure horror as Yang Su single-handedly slaughtered the disciples from the Fire Empire.

Xian who had chosen to accompany Yang Su glanced at him in the middle of the corpses. There almost seem to be a slight tug at the corner of his lips.

Yang Su having his name called, caused him to snap out of his thoughts and turned to look at the disciple.

The disciple suddenly took a step back when Yang Su looked at him.

However, Yang Su’s face suddenly soften and he asked.

“Are you guys okay? You’re not hurt are you?”

Upon hearing Yang Su’s worried tone of voice and expression, this made the disciple pause. I think you should take a look at

The juxtaposition between Yang Su’s image while killing these Fire Empire disciples and his current behavior left him and most disciples in the surroundings dumbfounded.

Xian who was off to the side saw this and it almost seem like he wanted to shake his head.

He then unfurled his folded arms and walked over to Yang Su who was stepping away from the sea of corpses.

“Good job!”

Xian said as he gave Yang Su a thumbs up.

Yang Su emotionlessly looked at him and said.

“You could have helped.”

“You had it under control, what would my help amount to?”

Yang Su narrowed his eyes at Xian. He just didn’t have a good impression of him.

“Why did you approach us, what are you planning?”

Xian suddenly pouted upon hearing Yang Su.

“You know I like you, but here you are being so suspicious of me. Who said I’m planning anything?”

Yang Su glared at Xian and said coldly.

“Not once did you seem surprised by anything that happened so far. Not the sudden teleportation to this dimension, nor the Fire Empire disciples killing everyone. Somehow you knew that all of this was going to happen.”

Xian gave Yang Su a smile.

“You’re smarter than people give you credit for.”

Xian then waved his hand and cast a Daost Magic spell that created a barrier around the two of them; blocking anyone from hearing what they were saying.

Yang Su remained silent upon seeing.

Looking at Yang Su, Xian folded his hands and said.

“You asked what I’m planning, well, I’m not the one planning anything, I’m just following orders.”

“Who’s orders?”

Xian smiled as he replied.

“Your brother.”

Yang Su’s face changed when he heard that.

“What do you mean my brother? You-Just what are you talking about?”

Xian tilted his head and scrunched up his face with his eyes closed.

“It’s like I said, the older brother you thought was dead. He’s alive, and he’s the one who told me what the Fire Empire was up to. And… he’s actually the leader of the rebellion within the Demonic Cult, I’m just the second in command posing as the mastermind.”

“That's…”

Yang Su didn’t know what to say or how to react to such news.

Xian opened his eyes and looked at Yang Su before saying.

“I know this must be a lot to hear all at once. He told me to keep it a secret so he could surprise you when he comes here, but I hate surprises so here I am disobeying his orders.”

“He’s coming here?”

Xian nodded vigorously.

“You should know he's also with-”

Before Xian could finish what he was about to say, the ground beneath them suddenly trembled. Afterward, the shocked and terrified cries of the disciples in the surroundings were heard echoing out.

All of them were looking up and pointing at the sky with horror-stricken faces.

Xian waved his hand and lowered the barrier he created before he and Yang Su looked toward the sky.

“Well, it looks like it’s starting.”

Xian said as he watched the fissures in the sky increased by the second.

Lihua, Jun, and everyone else across the dimension were looking up at the sky.

Then, only a minute after these fissures appeared in the sky, a loud thunderous bang echoed out.

Like a mirror, the sky shattered into reflective fragmented shards.
