Mu Fan placed everyone down before they all glared at Xian.
Xian shrugged his shoulders in response.
Jun was about to comment on Xian being here, but Li Shen place a hand on his shoulder.
“Look after Lu Yue for me.”
Hearing this, Jun turned to look at Lu Yue before hurrying over.
Fei Yin hurried over as well, it looked like she had a few superficial wounds he was able to heal.
Li Shen then looked at Xian and asked.
“What’s the point of you joining? You seem to have a group of your own.”
“Well, that doesn’t mean I can’t join yours right?”
Li Shen went silent for a moment then said.
“I’ll think about it. For now, we should focus on why we were teleported here.”
Xian turned to look at the front of the hall where a throne was before saying with narrowed eyes.
“Isn’t it obvious my other half? Someone wants us here.”
Hearing Xian’s words, everyone in the group had their expressions change.
They suddenly had a bad feeling rise in their hearts. One that Mu Fan long had.
“Master…?”
Li Shen turned to look at Yang Su and smiled.
“Don’t worry, whoever it is that wants us here he should be showing himself at any moment. Depending on the situation we’ll act accordingly.”
Yang Su and the others nodded, but Xian off to the side saw this and had a thoughtful expression appear on his face.
‘This should be interesting…’
Xian then smiled.
As more and more disciples teleported into the hall, the noise grew louder and louder.
Conflict also broke out as people started attacking the Fire Empire disciples for ambushing them.
By this point, Li Shen and everyone had picked out a position far away from the throne and were sitting around each other cross-legged.
“Aren’t we not going to join the fray?”
Xian asked.
Li Shen shook his head.
“In a situation like this, it’s best not to draw attention to yourself.”
“Agreed.”
Lu Shin who had his arms crossed with his eyes closed suddenly said.
Xian shrugged before he fell onto his back and crossed his hands behind his head.
“Wake me up when something interesting happens…”
Before Xian closed his eyes, he looked at Yang Su next to him before he finished his sentence.
“…something interesting should be happening soon.”
Xian then closed his eyes and a minute after his snores could be heard by everyone.
“This bastard, is he really sleeping?”
Jun said as he looked over at Xian.
“I applaud him to be able to stay so relaxed in a situation like this.”
Fei Yin said.
Lihua who was as far away as she could be suddenly flicked her wrist and a small thin dagger flew at Xian’s face.
Everyone watched as the dagger approached Xian before he caught it moments before hitting his face.
His snores were still audible, meaning he was still asleep.
However, everyone’s impressed expressions suddenly changed as Xian placed the handle of the small dagger under his nose and sniffed. I think you should take a look at
“This… This bastard is asking for a beating.”
Jun had a crooked expression on his face, while everyone found it amusing that Xian was still a pervert even while in his sleep.
“Hm?”
Li Shen suddenly felt something and his gaze suddenly move towards the throne at the end of the hall.
At the same time, Xian’s snores suddenly stopped before he sprung up in a sitting position to look at the throne as well.
“Something interesting is happening.”
Xian said this, and a second later Lu Shin was the last to sense something.
He opened his eyes and then glanced at the throne.
Everyone perked up and looked at the throne as well.
Soon, more and more people started to feel a strange energy gathering around the throne.
A few nervous bunch of disciples close to it began retreating.
After a few seconds of this intense anticipation, the disciples who hadn’t stepped away from the throne atop the stairs, exclaimed in shock before stumbling back.
A figure had suddenly appeared on the throne without any warning, startling everyone.
Donned in golden robes this person looked like he was the Emperor of a large country. However, his face was obscured by a golden mist.
“Welcome everyone, in just a moment I’ll explain to you all why I have brought you here. First, we need to welcome our second set of guests.”
The figure then waved his hand in the air above the disciples' heads. A few people then appeared all at once.
The disciples below were shocked when they saw who these people were.
They were the second set of disciples who were supposed to enter the Hidden Fragmented Realm after the Chosen Tournament was over.
These were their senior brothers and senior sisters from their Sects and Clans.
These senior disciples began looking around confused as to where they were. The Hidden Fragmented realm had opened in suddenly. So as planned, they suppressed their cultivations at the Core Formation Realm and entered. However, they didn't expect to end up in a Palace upon immediate entry.
“Senior Brother!”
“Senior Sister!”
The disciples below began calling for those who they recognized, and the senior disciples took notice of their Juniors as well as that mysterious figure on the throne.
Li Shen looked up at these people and recognized some of them.
His brother was the first person he recognized.
A smile made its way onto his lips when he saw Fu Wei. But was disappointed that he wouldn't recognize him now.
The second group Li Shen recognized was Ling Tian, along with people like Lin Dong, Sun Hua, Luo Fu, Shirong, and even Yuming from the Seven Major Sects on the Maple Continent. However, he didn’t see Huang Fu, Bai Xiaofung’s brother, for some reason.
Though they were some people he didn’t recognize but perhaps have heard of before.
There were three people who were dawn in blood-red robes, it was obvious they were from the Demonic Cult on the Maple Continent.
If Li Shen wasn’t mistaken they were three of the Four Demonic Talents that could be said to rival his Brother, Fu Wei, as well as his Cousin Li Shun and Ling Tian in talent.
However, there were only three of them there, where was the fourth one?
As Li Shen was looking at them, he saw that they were glaring over at a young man that was weirdly dressed for the setting.
He merely had a long red robe with probably nothing underneath it. But he was devilishly handsome as well. Emphasis on the devilish.
Li Shen could deduce he was likely the representative from the Fire Empire. They were the only other group that wore red.
Maybe it was due to the fact that the three Demonic Talents discovered what they were trying to do, but they seemed to be directing this hostility to this person in particular.
Li Shen observed this young man more.
One thing he realized was that he had a head full of crimson hair and ruby-red eyes.
As Sol was looking at this youth, he suddenly heard Yang Su from next to him mutter.
“Elder Brother…?”
Li Shen looked over at him and saw that he was looking at the red-haired young man as well.
His eyes widen slightly before he turned back to look at the young man, only to see that he was now smiling while looking in their direction.
