The muscles on Gustav’s upper body start swelling, and his clothes are pushed from the inside and rip, sending cloth flying everywhere.

This reveals muscles the color of steel, which expand further as Gustav’s whole body is being covered in muscles.

In the meantime, he’s still attacking and defending against Kalin’s attacks. Although he’s swelling, his movements are becoming sharper and heavier.

It looked like Kalin was pushing him back before, but now Gustav’s attacks keep blowing her back.

“Haha. This is fun. I should’ve worn my armor.”

“Hmph. Upset that you’re losing?”

“Nope.”

Kalin has a big smile on her face as she jumps all over this cramped room and swings her big sword. The wind generated by the pressure of her swings even reaches me.

Gustav mostly intercepts these attacks. He’s planted right in the center of the room, and doesn’t really look human anymore.

He looks like one of the strange looking giants that are said to have existed in ancient times.

Every time he swings those fingers that have turned to blades, the ground is carved, and the ceiling slashed.

“Rust, you can leave this to me!”

“…All right. Don’t go too crazy!”

“Master Rust…”

“Let’s do what Kalin says, Ahri. You too Roa.”

That was Kalin’s sneaky way of telling me to get the king and the princess to safety.

Ahri says she understands. She can’t use her future sight magic eye, but I think she’s been with Kalin long enough to at least somewhat understand the situation.

Actually, Ahri and Roa might actually know more about Kalin, because of the time we were apart.

In any case, I’m assuming she doesn’t want other people to see what’s about to happen.

“Your majesty, princess, this place is dangerous. We should take refuge.”

I finally reach Ahri after walking slowly next to the wall, and speak to Princess Lily and King Kalzart, who are standing behind her.

King Kalzart has a quizzical look on his face, but Princess Lily backs me up.

“Father, this is Master Rust, the one known as Admiral’s Two-Time Killer. He has helped me a lot as well, so I can vouch for him.”

“I see, you are the one who controls a dragon… Perfect. This way.”

Says King Kalzart as he moves to a corner of the room. I don’t know what he means, but he touches an old ornament placed in that corner.

And that’s enough for a door to appear where only a wall was supposed to be.

Uwah, what is this!? I didn’t feel any magic elements flowing. No matter how I look at it, this isn’t a magic item.

I hide my excitement while observing this mechanism.

Now that I’m getting a better look at it, that ornament has the shape of a dragon. It looks old and worn-out, but there’s no doubt about it. But then, is this some sort of primordial magic? If it is, that’s incredible! The fact that there is that much primordial magic using non-living matter as a medium is…

“Master Rust!”

Ahri scolds me as she whispers sharply near my ear, and I see everyone else has gone through the new door.

I shrug as I feel everyone’s lukewarm stares, and Ahri pulls me through the door.
