“Rose, please.”
I feel like I’m being watched from every corner, as I call out to Rose. Rose responds by stretching its vines.
Rose? Is it just me, or do your movements feel a bit more pompous than usual?
Rose slowly puts together a chair for me, like it’s showing off to the monsters filling the sky and the Weakest Seventh Seat in front of me.
The chair itself seems to be pretty intricate too.
Maybe it’s competing with the stone chair in front of me, but while it’s the same four legged chair as always, Rose starts by making a really thick cylinder below where the seat will be.
Just how big do you want this chair to be, Rose!?
As I yell that internally, Rose moves on to the armrests, where big bright roses bloom in positions where they won’t get in the way of my arms. Their different colors make them look like jewels.
The backrest is made with particularly slender parts of Rose, and it weaves a pattern that looks to be the same as the one on my alchemist medal. The backrest keeps getting taller, and more patterns are added.
Two dragons facing each other, a kagero tree, and ‘chibi versions of my transmuted beasts’.
Is that Hipopo? And Eve with its bamboo shoot army. Ah, the Hipopo brothers. Rose is more talented than I thought.
And then more patterns related to me are added, as the backrest exceeds my height. It goes a bit beyond the backrest of the stone chair, and it’s finally complete.
Rose got a little too excited…
It’s good enough to be called a throne, but I act like it’s no big deal as I brush aside the cloak I’m wearing and sit down not too deeply.
I don’t want to let Rose’s tour de force go unnoticed. That said, I’m kind of taken aback, because it’s almost too good…
“Well then, shall we start?”
I ask cheerfully, while sitting on Rose’s chair that’s more impressive than the Weakest Seventh Seat’s.
