“Taula! Taula!”
“It’s all right, Rust.”
Taula responds, but it feels like she’s looking far away.
The magic elements from that oracle are still hovering around her body.
I’m very curious about what’s going on with Taula, but I turn my eyes back to the action.
The overeater magic item that manifested the Hipopo brothers is close to running out of magic elements. I can barely hear it wailing anymore.
The way the First Seat of Delusion isn’t moving is kind of unsettling. Does it have some sort of trump card?
“Rust, this is an empty shell! I can’t feel any willpower here.”
Yells Kalin, while continuing to attack.
Empty shell? Is someone controlling it? I don’t think it’s Zwei. It’s being way too passive.
But then, the First Seat of Delusion finally makes a move. Its 『delusion』 headless torsos begin to gather magic energy.
One of them ejects once it’s full. It flies very fast while spraying magic elements, straight towards Kalin.
“Aah!”
Kalin swings her sword with all her might while still on top of a Lesser Hipopo. The 『delusion』 is cut cleanly in two, but the impact knocks Kalin off the Lesser Hipopo.
She rolls on the sand, but quickly stabs her sword into it and gets up.
“That was intense. Everyone, don’t attack it carelessly!”
Kalin yells with an amused tone, as more 『delusion』 is shot off and she runs towards them.
There’s no time to hesitate. Seilook.
(Understood. I heard everything. Leave the interpretation of the oracle to me. I’m firing a dragon breath. Get ready.)
After getting points twice more, there was a dramatic change in the way I receive Seilook’s thoughts through our bond.
Seilook fires a dragon breath, and it falls from the sky to the earth like the hammer of god.
