Rose’s main body in my hand is painted in that golden color, and gives off a divine glow.
It shakes its petals slightly, and slowly stretches its vine.
The vine stretches towards the plate still hovering in the air, and creeps around its edge as if decorating it. In the blink of an eye, Rose and the plate are connected.
They seem to go great together, as if they were one all along.
Letters appear on the plate, like Rose is writing through the plate. The letters even have a rose vine motif.
I’m still completely quiet, but I look over at the plate, like something is pushing me.
In my heart, all I want to do is crouch down inside my shell and block out the world around me. But I’m not allowed to.
“…Ah… Again?”
I whisper in response to Rose’s proposal.
The plate shows me that this world doesn’t have a lot of time left, because it was consumed by Araysla.
The scars caused by Araysla before she was extinguished affect this world to its very core.
And it seems after crushing Araysla with that divine golden light, Rose has taken in the power of god.
At this point, Rose is basically a god. What Rose is showing me is how to deal with this world that doesn’t have much time left. It’s written at the end of the plate.
So Rose received Araysla’s power? Did it inherit my vessel role because it’s my transmuted beast? Ah, I see. Rose saw my condition, and shared the burden.
“…Sorry Rose.”
The words ‘it’s fine’ appear on the plate.
The method to deal with this world with a wounded core is still written there on the plate.
If I do nothing, sooner or later a large-scale calamity will happen.
Rose asks me what should be done.
“Are you going to sacrifice yourself this time, Rose…”
The words written on the plate don’t change. I’m sure that’s a kind gesture on Rose’s part.
Rose is granting me the kindness of letting me make the decision, and leaving me with room to feel remorseful.
“Rose, execute.”
I whisper, and the plate starts shining very brightly.
And then, two dragons come flying down.
Unchan and Seilook.
They land on the ground, and each stands at one side of the plate. Both slowly approach the plate with their mouths.
And when they touch the plate with their mouths, a transportation hole appears in the air in front of me.
