Chapter 67 - Mission Failed 4

Arriane walked out of David's house and went to visit her mother, she learned from her mother that her twin sister left on a mission to Quebec. She bonded with her mother and left after dinner.

At night she read the next target profile information and get interested in the mission. Arriane love to accept a mission that is more challenging.

She called her Dad and told him that she is taking the mission. She then asked her father to book her a flight to Cambridge after two days.

Arriane: Dad I'm taking the mission, book me a flight to Cambridge after two days. I still need some rest and sleep. I am coming over to see you and uncle tomorrow let's have dinner together.

Martin: ah, okay.... what do you want for dinner??? I'll ask your uncle to prepare whatever you want. Martin answered excitedly, this is the first time that Arriane asks them to have dinner together.

Arriane: I don't know, just tell uncle to prepare all his favorite I'm not a picky eater.

Martin: Okay, okay.... I'll do that we'll be waiting for you tomorrow then.

Arriane hung up the phone and prepare to go to sleep. She turns off the light and lay on her bed.

The next day, she had dinner with her dad and her uncle David. They decided to eat outside at the local restaurant. Though the two older men are both worried about Arriane taking the mission they decided to forget it for the moment and just enjoy the night with Arriane.

After two days of rest, Martin drove Arriane to the airport at La Guardia to take her flight to Cambridge.

Before Arriane board the plane, she received a call from David and Morgana, she talks Morgana first after she ended the call with her sister, she called David back to say goodbye to him.

As David sat on his swivel chair, his heart suddenly beat faster as if he feels nervous about something but he can't describe what it is that's making him feel like that. He thinks about Arriane and he wanted to call her again to ask her to come back, but it was too late Arriane's flight already left.
