Chapter 26
When Chloe heard this, she had a vague idea of who this person was.
She elbowed Anderson and then pretended to ask, "Is this guy your brother?"
From the moment Edmund appeared until now, Anderson had not indicated anything.
He just said lightly, "Don't know him."
Upon hearing this, Chloe leaned against the railing with her arms crossed, looking at Edmund, "He says he doesn't know you."
Edmund's expression was stiff for a moment.
Then he nodded, "My brother and I haven't seen each other for a long time, so it's normal that he doesn't recognize me."
After hearing this, Chloe rolled her eyes unabashedly.
Anderson was taken away by her when he was five years old. It was impossible for the Francis family to know nothing about this.
They just didn't care.
She felt it was a bit unlucky to run into this guy here. After all, Chloe hadn't liked him much since that birthday banquet:
"If you just came here to recognize your relative, then you can leave now."
This was an order to see the guest out.
If it was someone else who understood the situation, they would probably leave by now, but Edmund didn't.
Not only did he not leave, he stubbornly stayed and shamelessly forced a smile, "Although Anderson no longer recognizes me, as his elder brother, I still want to communicate more with him."
After saying that, his pale blue eyes looked towards Anderson.
A trace of hard-to-detect resentment flashed across them.
Back then when Anderson disappeared, the Francis family didn't care. After all, he was just a mixed-blood, even if he escaped from the Francis family and wandered outside, the only thing waiting for him was death. It was impossible for him to still be alive.
Who could have imagined that he would have such great fortune to be picked up by the only daughter of the Ancestor?
Now he was even with little miss coming to the First Military Academy.
He looked very close with her.
The more Edmund thought about it, the more he couldn't control his expression.
Chloe looked at the boy in front of her and scoffed, "Has anyone told you that you look very ugly when you smile?"
Edmund's face stiffened, "...What did Miss Chloe say?"
As her voice fell, Anderson fell silent.
After waiting for a long time without getting a response, Chloe was quite unhappy, "Why aren't you talking?"
Anderson looked at her and said seriously, "I just feel that little miss is too bloodthirsty, it's not appropriate."
Not appropriate?
Chloe raised her hand to support the bite stopper device and said, "You're too boring."
After saying that, without waiting for Anderson's reaction, she walked out first.
Chloe didn't understand Anderson's thoughts.
What a good opportunity to trample underfoot the people who bullied him in the past. Watching their pained and unwilling twisted faces. Why wasn't Anderson moved?
Chloe felt that he was too kind, which made her seem cold-blooded and ruthless.
Boring, really boring.
She didn't look back again, naturally she didn't see the fleeting dark light in Anderson's green eyes behind her...
...
In the following days, these first-year students were either running or training. Waking up earlier than chickens and sleeping later than dogs. All of them were listless, only when they were on the runway could they barely work up some energy.
But this high-intensity training was somewhat useful. For example, those pampered young masters of the Vampires would no longer curse while running halfway through.
Cursing and crying were useless. The only thing they could do now was to run faster and faster, so that they could have a soft bed to sleep in and delicious meals to eat.
If that was all, then fine. But recently, for some reason, when these first-year students were training, a large group of senior students in military uniforms would appear outside the training ground.
All of them hugged watermelons, ice creams, and leisurely watched them train, applauding from time to time.
In Chloe's team, a Vampire couldn't stop staring at others. She slapped him back to his senses.
She spoke sternly, "All of you pay attention."
These little fellows instantly didn't dare let their eyes wander anymore, and looked enviously at other teams.
The leaders of the Human Race and Elf Race teams were so gentle. The relations in the Werewolf Race team also looked very good. Why was only their dear little miss different? When something happened she really would slap them.
The Vampire cubs felt aggrieved but had to honestly step back onto the runway.
Just as Chloe was about to start running, Daniel nearby suddenly stood up with a roar,
"I really can't stand it anymore, give me some of your ice cream!"
