"There's no good in comparing with a loser like you, get out of my way," Chloe spat out venomously.

Her temperament had become quite fiery of late. Any fool who dared to provoke her ended up getting a face full of Chloe's fury, even dogs were no exception.

The man dressed in a black robe was familiar with such treatment — every time he approached, Chloe would keep him at bay with her sharp words. The camp dogs had also felt her wrath, getting slapped whenever they dared to bark at her.

Over time, the guard dogs in the Viper Group Military Camp learned their lesson. The moment they saw Chloe, they would make a run for it, intending to stay out of this fierce woman's line of sight.

Chloe was particularly irritable that day, as she felt tired after spending too much time with the energetic Wang. She was in a foul mood.

Impatiently, Chloe drew her knife: "One more word out of you and I'll slice you up."

The cowed Beast Tamer stepped back a few paces.

In front of him was a young woman, full of fierce energy. The knife in her hands glinted with a menacing chill, its blade clearly having tasted human blood.

The Beast Tamer swallowed, stuttering out in defiance: "You swoop in and take over without a single word, yet I can't even defend my livelihood?!"

Chloe retorted impassively, "Provocation won't work on me."

At this, Chloe, Daniel and the others gaped in surprise. Their gaze shifted to the Beast Tamer, probing in their astonishment.

Chloe was taken aback: "You certainly look much older."

Feeling utterly humiliated, the Beast Tamer cut to the chase: "Enough of this, are you willing to compete with me or not?"

Chloe scoffed: "Compete with you on what? You wouldn't even suffice as a warm-up for me."

As she spoke, she punctuated the ground twice with the tip of her knife, causing a loud, grating noise.

The Beast Tamer trembled noticeably, obviously terrified, then stammered out. "Wh-who said anything about competing in physical combat?"

"We are Beast Tamers. Can't we compete in taming beasts?"

Chloe snorted at the absurdity, pointing towards the obedient Wang by her side, she retorted: "Are you really wanting to compete in beast taming?"

Taken aback, the Beast Tamer stuttered: "It's just a tiger. Given more time, I'll be able to tame it too."

"Moreover, I've been observing you all this time. You have no skills in beast taming. I don't know what method you've used to make the tiger obedient to you!"

"Do you not find it laughable to speak like that?" Qin Huaibei mocked, "Whether or not she knows how to tame beasts is none of your concern. She tamed the tiger with skill, didn't she? That is proof of her strength, isn't it?"

The Beast Tamer looked visibly upset.

"Come back! Come back to me!”

"Have you forgotten our time together?”

"I have your favourite toy and your favourite snacks here!"

As he said that, he took out a plain grass ball and few honey jars and threw them towards the bear.

But, the bear just glanced at those objects and without showing any interest, continued to walk towards Chloe.

The Beast Tamer got so angry that his eyes turned red.

Finally, the bear reached Chloe and stared into her eyes.

After a long time, it managed to extend its paw, gently brushing against Chloe's sleeve to seek her attention.

Upon realizing the brown bear's intention, Wang was immediately upset and let out a growl of anger towards the bear.

The brown bear lazily gave him a glance, apparently unbothered by his feelings, instead turning around to pick up a jar of honey with its mouth and delicately hand it over to Chloe.

This action was somewhat unexpected, even Chloe was taken aback for two seconds, she confirmed, "For me?"

The brown bear slowly nods, its manner resembling that of an elegant gentleman.
