It was the day of Synchronicity’s live event, “Synchro!”

The erotic book incident had earned me the complete resentment of Shiorin and her friends, so they didn’t invite me to the event at all. Instead, I made my way to the venue of my own accord.

I remembered that Hanami had brought up the matter of my appearance the last time we met, plus, I also thought I should at least be able to fix my hair up by myself, but I didn’t know how to do it, so I just brought my hair wax along with me.

I’ll ask the make-up artist to show me how to do it at the rehearsal today.

Actually, maybe I could even ask my band mates instead…

As friends, Rinka and Hasumi were invited to special seats in the front row. I’m so jealous…

Each member of Personia came to the venue separate from one another.

We’re usually masked, but if we all came as a group, there was a chance we could’ve gotten recognized by our height or something.

We’d also invited our manager, Suzuki, to come along with us since we had rehearsals anyway and we needed help to carry our costumes and such.

The tickets for everyone were on me, which was a small price to pay compared to the fees for the studio we’d been renting.

Incidentally, I didn’t bring Akane with me.

Idol concerts are very dangerous, and since everybody is watching while standing, the crowd’s movements could get rough.

Plus, Akane’s the cutest girl in the world, so there’s also the possibility that she might get kidnapped.

Well, she herself didn’t really want to come.

When I asked her why, she bashfully replied, “Because I’ll get jealous…”

But when the siscon side of me told her, “Don’t worry, there’s no need for you to be jealous of Shiorin and the others’ cuteness, because you’re cuter than them, Akane,” she got angry and went back to her room.

When I sneaked a peek into her room to apologize, I saw her burying her face in her futon and flapping her legs wildly.

Sensing that she was very angry, I decided to wait until she’d cooled down and left the house.

It definitely wasn’t me running away or anything.

I got my ticket at the entrance and entered the venue.

There were no seats and everybody had to stand, so basically everyone was gathered in the front, but since Shiorin and the others hated me, I decided to watch from the back.

I crossed my arms and leaned against the wall, looking at the stage with my best producer impression.

Hmm, the girls I raised, Shiorin and her friends, turned out pretty well.

…Damn, I’m starting to feel the urge to murder myself.

As I waited with those ridiculous thoughts in my mind, the venue started getting crowded with people.

The concert venue, “Gilnelise”, which could accommodate 1,000 people, was gradually getting more and more cramped.

The tickets appeared to have completely sold out, so it looks like their fan base has grown.

Perhaps their last performance got the fans of other idols interested in Synchronicity.

I’m glad to see the number of fans increasing, but a part of me also feels a bit sad for some reason…

I wonder if Personia fans felt this way too.

As I was thinking about this, I suddenly realized that the event hadn’t started yet and checked the time on my phone.

―How strange; it should be about time for the event to start.

The strangest thing of all was that there was no announcement or notice of any kind.

If the event ran into a delay, there should’ve been an announcement informing as such, otherwise the audience won’t understand what’s going on, making them frustrated.

And so, 5 minutes passed… then 10 minutes…

Voices of frustration began leaking out from the crowd.

Author’s notes:

Something to keep in mind is that, although Ritsuki is convinced that he’s weak, he’s actually very strong in fights.

This will show up in the story line sometime… so look forward to it!
