Chapter 016 - She has a very conflicting personality. (3)

Tan Muxing had first-hand experience in this. Once a person had exposed one’s flaws and weaknesses, mocking and teasing would follow. He didn’t want to see Chu Qianli gone through what he had been through.

Chu Qianli said reflexively, “Isn’t that cheating?”

Tan Muxing lowered his head shamefully. Troubled, he said, “Oh, if you feel that that is inappropriate then……”

Chu Qianli, “Oh, that’s appropriate. Highly appropriate. Participation is the key!”

Tan Muxing, “?” What a creative and unique way to call cheating.

Even the best laid plan may not always catch up with how fast things can change. The physics class that followed was brutal. The foreign physics teacher assigned a difficult problem at the very beginning of class and had the class solve it within the assigned time.

A difficult problem involving celestial movement appeared on the screen. He Shichen looked a bit hesitant after looking at the question. He then quickly started scribbling down the calculations and wanted to race against time in tackling the problem.

Tan Muxing needed to provide the answer to Chu Qianli so he, too, lowered his head and started solving the problem. Noticing that his deskmate wasn’t even moving, he said to her in a low voice. “You could at least pretend……”

Chu Qianli just sat there straightly and didn’t even bother moving her pen. That would make it too obvious.

Chu Qianli, “Aye? You haven’t solved it yet? I can tell you the answer.”

The whispering between the two attracted the attention of the foreign teacher. The physics teacher was much more serious and, noticing that Chu Qianli didn’t try to solve it at all, asked her coldly what was the reason behind it.

Chu Qianli was very calm right now and casually said to him in English, “I already have the answer.”

As soon as she had finished talking, the entire class erupted. Even He Shichen, who had his head buried in the problem looked up.

Wang Zheng said in a contemptuous tone, “She’s lying. There wasn’t enough time to solve the problem.”

This was a problem that involved three different celestial bodies along with a complicated drawing. Their job was to explain their effects on each other. They needed time just to figure out the drawing and she was claiming that she had the answer from just glancing at the problem?

As Chu Qianli performed poorly during Chemistry, nobody believed her words.

He Shichen’s look deepened. Looking at his paper with the problem half solved, he looked at Chu Qianli with doubts in his eyes. He was probably the fastest one in class when it came to solving problems. The only one in their grades that could compete with him was Qi Yan from their neighboring class.

Hearing the ruckuses below, the physics teacher waved at Chu Qianli and had her solve the problem on the podium.

Chu Qianli was not worried. She walked onto the podium, poised, and started writing on the digital screen. She didn’t even need to pause to think, as though the answer had long since been burned into her brain.

The reason that her @$$ was kicked in Chemistry was simple. She was only quick to learn when it came to anything star-related. She picked up everything else at a much slower pace.

What does celestial movement mean?

The movements of all celestial bodies in the sky. In short, the movements of stars!

Even though many astrologists rely on software nowadays to construct the star charts but, in the past, astrologists needed to do that manually and, if they wanted to handle more complicated problems, the ability to calculate and logical thinking were must.

After providing the answer smoothly and her answer was confirmed by the foreign teacher, everybody was stunned.

Wang Zheng doubted her. “She had done this problem before in the past!”

The foreign physics teacher was unhappy with Chu Qianli before but now he explained kindly, “I have changed the numbers to this problem. I do not believe she would have been able to look up the answer elsewhere.”

Even if Chu Qianli had done something similar in the past, the fact that she could solve a modified problem with such efficiency and perhaps even faster than the foreign physics teacher could was, in and of itself, very respectable.
