"“Liselotte!””
Bash!
However, that high-speed throw came to a sudden stop right in front of Liselotte. Inglis stepped forward in front of Liselotte and intercepted the halberd.
Just as she said to Leone, she was watching closely. She kept the Ether Armor active, ready to intervene at any moment.
"Inglis...!"
"Glis! Nice!"
"T-Thank you so much, Miss Inglis...!"
"No problem. As long as we're watching, you’re free to speak as much as you want. If she really is your mother, it’s only natural that you want her back. Rani and Leone also feel the same."
"Thank you, everyone!"
"But in return, when we come back safely, suggest to your mother to become an instructor at the Knight Academy, okay?"
"Huh? Um... sure..."
"Hey, Glis! Don't try to sneak in your own demands amidst all this...!"
Oops, Rafinha heard her. Inglis cleared her throat and turned her attention to the intruder on the other side.
"We're having a rare moment of peace here, so it would be a shame to disturb it, wouldn't it?"
For Inglis, Liselotte talking to Charlotte might even be a perfect opportunity to recruit a new instructor. Anyone disrupting this couldn't be overlooked.
“Such a small child... caught my throw at that distance...?”
The one staring wide-eyed was a girl with long pale turquoise hair, tied up cutely.
Her face exuded elegance, and her slightly revealing attire emphasized her feminine, mature limbs. She possessed both charm and allure, a terrifyingly attractive woman combining delicacy and maturity.
Her presence exuded a unique aura, filled with the imposing presence typical of a Hyrule Menace.
And that face was familiar.
"You are...! Tiffany!?"Upstodatee from n(0)/ve/lbIn/.(co/m
"I'm not borrowing anything! What belongs to Glis belongs to me, and what belongs to me belongs to Glis! We will always be together forever, that’s just how it is.”
“Exactly what Rani says. There’s no room for criticism.”
"Exactly what Glis says! Bleh!"
Rafinha blew raspberries. She might genuinely be showing her anger, but her actions made her look a little cute.
And it seems Rafinia isn't the only one with complaints against Tiffany.
"What do you think are you doing...!?"
Charlotte glared at Tiffany.
At the same time, the halberd that Ingris had been holding disappeared from her grasp and reappeared in Charlotte’s hand.
Jumping through space and pulling it in, is it? Charlotte really uses various kinds of power. If possible, Inglis had wanted to take the halberd home. That’s too bad.
“That’s my line. I saw you were just standing and watching even though our enemy is right in front of you, so I merely lent you a helping hand.”
Tiffany tilts her head like she's playing dumb to Charlotte.
“It’s unnecessary, and I am not one to take the help of a failure like you...!”
“My deepest apologies, then. Seeing that you’re oh so perfect, I suggest finishing off these girls as soon as possible. I don’t think we’re here for a little chat, no?”
“...be that as it may, killing them is not part of my mission.”
"Oh? You can't kill a girl with a face like yours? Why?"
“I wouldn’t be so conflicted if I knew the reason... Why am I, and her...”
Charlotte, who looks like she's eaten a bitter bug, sighs openly to Tiffany.
"If you don't even know yourself, are you really a reliable pawn for the Lord Founder? Now that puts the question which one of us is the failure.”
However you look at it, the relationship between Charlotte and Tiffany doesn't seem to be good.
Having to face two Hyrule Menaces at once was practically a dream come true for Inglis. Then again, even if they weren’t as close as Eris and Ripple were, she was worried that they weren’t even the slightest bit close.
What she worried, of course, was that they might not be as coordinated when fighting her.
