CH 7

Finally, the day of the DDG concert.

I put on the new clothes I’d bought with the money I’d saved from my part-time job and headed for the meeting place with Takayuki.

I’m not embarrassed now, since that I’ve put on new clothes from a reasonable brand.

More importantly, I’ve been working hard at my part-time job so that I can enjoy myself to the fullest at times like this.

Life is all about having fun!

Takayuki came to the meeting place late, but he was also dressed up more than usual.

“Hey! Hey, Takuya! You’re really into it!”

“It’s the same for Takayuki.”

We both laughed at the fact that we had dressed up for the occasion, and then we headed to the concert hall.

When we arrived at the concert hall, it was already overflowing with people.

The ratio of male to female fans was about 50/50, since DDG has many female fans as well as male fans.

We gave our tickets at the entrance and were given wristbands that allowed us to enter the venue.

The atmosphere of the venue, filled with people, made us realize that we had finally arrived at the concert.

Takayuki went to the merchandise booth at the venue and looked around for some goodies.

Encouraged by the atmosphere of the concert hall, I bought a towel with the DDG logo on it and put it around my neck.

Because we had already bought our merchandise yesterday, we moved to the front of the stage as soon as possible.

The concert hall had a maximum capacity of 1,800 people for standing, so it was quite spacious.

“It’s finally here!”

“Yeah, I’ve never been to a concert like this before, so I’m getting a little excited.

Yes, this is the first time in my life that I’ve been to a music concert like this, so I’m pretty excited inside.

From the stage, I could hear the occasional sound of instruments being played, as if they were adjusting the sound, and the atmosphere that the concert was about to start made me even more excited.

To be honest, I’ve been living my life with the awareness that I’m a cooler than others, but I realized that I’m essentially the same as everyone else.

I’m not going to live my life like that, and that’s fine. I’m feeling so much better now, I think going to karaoke with everyone might not be so bad.

Suddenly, all the lights in the venue went out.

The audience went wild with excitement.

I could tell that the live performance was about to begin!

After a while, the lights were directed towards the stage from many directions at once.

And there, illuminated by the lights, were the five members of DDG, already standing with their instruments.

At that moment, the audience suddenly erupted in excitement.

I, too, could not contain my excitement at the sight of DDG appearing before me.

Since Takayuki had introduced me to DDG, I had listened to them many times on my way to school or when I was alone at home, and now they were right in front of me.

The performance started immediately.

Unlike the sound I heard through my earphones or speakers at home, it was so loud and powerful that the bass echoed through my body.

“Thank you for coming today! We’re going to make a great show!”

With a word from the real Yui-chan, the voltage of the concert hall reached its highest point.

After that, it was really overwhelming.

The DDG stage was nothing but amazing, to the point where I felt as if we were really the same age.

“Takuya … I’m about to cry …”

“Oh … I understand … it’s really amazing …”

It’s not just us, everyone here was wrapped up in the atmosphere created by DDG.

In the beginning, Takayuki and I were only thinking about seeing Yui-chan in person today.

But now, we were captivated by YUI and all five members of DDG, who were giving their best performance on stage.

“Is everyone having a good time? Lets take a break!”

After five songs in a row, the girls took a break and they started talking to each other

“YUI, why are we here today?

“Hmm? Because our new album is coming out and we’re touring a lot of places, aren’t we?”

“That’s true, but don’t you have something more to tell to everyone?” (DDG members)

MEG-chan on bass, followed by SARA-chan on drums, were talking to YUI.

The audience listened to DDG’s conversation.

“Oh, that’s right. That’s right, there’s a special surprise that’s only for today, not for any other concert!”

YUI grinned and spoke to the audience.

“Everyone! Here comes the special guest! Are you ready?”

The rest of the band started to play along with her voice.

The other members started to play along with her voice, and the song sounded familiar to me.

But it wasn’t a DDG song – it was the intro to the Angel Girls’ signature song, “start”!

“Everyone from the Angel Girls has come to our live just for today!”

At YUI’s words, all the members of the national idol group “Angel Girls” appeared on stage at the same time.

—What is this? What’s going on?

The sudden appearance of the number one idol group had the audience in a state of confusion and excitement.

In the midst of all this excitement, I suddenly felt a tap on my back.

I turned around in surprise to see Saegusa-san wearing large round-rimmed sunglasses.

“It’s good to see you!”

Then Saegusa-san smiled as she took off her sunglasses.

And so, for some reason, I ended up watching the upcoming Angel Girls concert together with Saegusa-san, aka Shiorin, who was the center of the Angel Girls.
