CH 43

After a long day, I lay down on my bed.

I thought about today’s really intense day, and remembered the time I had spent with Saegusa.

Inspired by Takayuki and Shimizu, we went to a private café and feeding each other.

Then, on my way home, she revealed her true face to Aino and the others I met by chance, and then asked me to play with her more.

Just remembering what happened today makes me nervous and I can’t help but grin.

Saegusa-san was even cuter than usual today, and it was really dangerous.

As I lay down, I looked at a poster on the wall.

It was a poster of the Angel Girls, which I had gotten from the backyard of the convenience store where I worked.

This poster was created before Saegusa-san retired as an idol, Shiorin’s image is in the center of the poster.

All the girls were cute, but Shiorin seemed to be the one who shone the most.

I’ve never been interested in idols or anything like that, and I’ve always kept my distance from the people around me, but since getting to know Saegusa, I’ve been putting up huge posters of idols in my room, and I’m laughing to myself, thinking that I really don’t know what’s going to happen in my life.

Then I turned my attention to the shirt on the hanger in my room.

It was a shirt with a flashy pattern that I would never have bought in the past.

As I looked at the shirt, which I had bought at Ken’s store when I went out with Saegusa, I realized once again that my world was expanding thanks to her.

I was more than happy to see the world changing thanks to Saegusa-san’s presence.

As I was lying down thinking about this, I heard the sound of the Lime notification on my phone.

I picked up my phone and opened it to see who it was from, only to find that it was from Saegusa-san, the person I had just been thinking about.

“Today was fun! Thank you!”

Seeing the Lime, my eyes, which had been on the verge of falling asleep, suddenly brightened up.

It was just a casual thank-you note, but I was so happy to receive a Lime from Saegusa-san.

So I hurriedly replied back.

“Thanks to you too! It was fun!”

Okay! Send!

I thought it was enough ……, but what? Isn’t this the end of the conversation? I realized that after I sent it.

It’s hard to reply to a message without asking a question, and I regretted replying as usual after sending it.

But I was saved from my mistake when Saegusa-san immediately sent me another Lime.

“I hope it’s sunny again tomorrow!”

I couldn’t help but chuckle at the message that appeared on the screen.

What Saegusa had sent me was a weather forecast.

A weather is a standard topic of conversation that can be discussed with anyone, but has no scope, and is mainly used when there is nothing to talk about.

The image of Saegusa-san bringing up the weather forecast deck when she had trouble deciding what to send came to mind, and I chuckled again.

It was my fault for replying in the usual way, but I was glad that she was still trying to bring up the topic.

“Yes, it is! Speaking of sunny days, I’d love to go out somewhere on a sunny day! Is there anything you want to do?”

So I sent her a reply, this time in the form of a proper question.

On the way home today, we had an extended conversation about what we wanted to do.

“I want to go to the park.”

After a short pause, I received a reply from Saegusa-san.

–A park, huh?

I remembered that there was a rather large park near the elementary school I went to.

Takayuki and I used to get together and play in that park.

Saegusa-san probably lived in the same school district as me, but she was not one of my classmates in elementary and junior high school, so she must have moved to this town when she retired as an idol.

So I thought it was just right that she wouldn’t know about that park.

“Great! There’s a rather large park nearby, let’s go there.”

I replied, and after a short pause, I received another reply.

“Yes, I know. I’m sure that’s the park I want to go with Takkun, so I’m looking forward to it!”

I was a little confused when I saw Saegusa’s reply, “I know.

If you know it, does that mean you’ve already been there since you came to this city, although it’s a bit far away?

But if that’s the case, then the part about wanting to go with me was a bit confusing.

Then I couldn’t understand why she wanted to go to that park with me.

Well, I’ll just have to check it out when I go there again, and for now I’m just happy that I have something to do with Saegusa-san again.

After deciding on a date and time to go to the park, I said good night since it was getting late and ended today’s Lime.

And so it was decided that I would have a date with Saegusa-san this Saturday at the park.

To be honest, we were going to a park in my hometown that I used to play at a long time ago, so it wouldn’t be a new place, but I was sure that the scenery would be different with Saegusa-san, and I couldn’t wait for the next Saturday to come.
