A week had passed in the blink of an eye, and we were finally approaching the day before the festival.

Today was the day to put the finishing touches on the festival, and we had to go home late because we had to decorate the classrooms and prepare the equipment, but even so, everyone in the class had worked together to prepare as much as possible, and now all we had to do was show up on the day.

On the way home, Shi-chan, who was also feeling good about her preparations, was walking smiling next to me, looking forward to tomorrow.

I closed my eyes and thought to myself, “I’ll just go to bed early today and get ready for tomorrow.”

Rubbing my eyes sleepily, I checked my phone, wondering who it was at this hour. I checked my phone and found that the Lime had been sent to me by Akarin.

I hadn’t heard from her in a while, so I was a little worried about whether she would be able to come to the festival.

“Takkun, I’m going to be okay tomorrow, so please take care of me!”

The message from Akarin was a happy news that she would be able to come to the festival.

So I replied, relieved.

“Really? I’m glad to hear that. We worked hard on the preparations, so please have fun tomorrow!”

I hoped that Akarin and the others, who must have been busy making arrangements, would genuinely enjoy themselves if they came.

I think it’s unusual for a current national idol to come to a public high school’s cultural festival as a private visitor, and I’m sure there will be quite a commotion tomorrow.

Still, all I can do is make tomorrow’s festival more exciting, and I’ve already decided to enjoy it all as much as I can.

Besides, even though they were national idols, they were all high school students, so it was normal for them to come to the festival.

I blurted out to myself, thinking to myself that this was a bit of a quandary.

However, I was glad that they were able to make it work, even though they said they had a tight schedule, and then Akarin sent me another Lime.

“I’m looking forward to it! It was a little tough, but I was able to go because I used a trick in the back, so I’ll see you tomorrow, Takkun.”

I was a little curious as to what Akarin was talking about, but I guess there’s a lot about celebrities that I don’t know. I also replied with a Shiorin stamp showing a goo pose, ending today’s Lime exchange.

However, I didn’t think that Akarin, who is an active celebrity, would be using the Shiorin stamp, and I started to laugh at my own bigotry, wondering why I was using the Shiorin stamp with Akarin.

In any case, it seems that Akarin and her friends will be coming tomorrow, and I went to sleep early to prepare for tomorrow, thinking that all I have to do is to make the festival as exciting as possible.

Finally, the morning of the festival arrived.

I woke up a little earlier than usual, even though it was Saturday, and left the house after a quick breakfast.

When I looked up at the sky, there was a clear autumn sky with no clouds.

Thinking that it was a perfect day for a cultural festival, I headed for the station where I was meeting Shi-chan.

When I arrived at the meeting place, I found Shi-chan already there.

She was wearing her school uniform, even though it was Saturday, and she waved at me happily when she noticed me.

I waved back to Shi-chan, who was so cute in the morning, as I joined her.

“Good morning! Takkun!”

“Good morning, Shi-chan.”

We looked at each other, smiled, and exchanged greetings.

Then, naturally, I took Shi-chan’s hand and said, “Let’s go.”

It’s been a while since we’ve been together, so I’ve gotten used to holding hands like this.

It was the same for Shi-chan, who squeezed my hand back.

“I’m looking forward to the festival!”

“Yeah, let’s have fun today.”

I smile back at her as she shakes my hand like a child and smiles happily.

And I decided that I would do my best to enjoy today with Shi-chan so that it would be a fun experience for sure.
