"It worked!", Adhara exclaims in surprise.

Unlike the purple fire elemental stones that she made before, the one levitating in front of her right now is more like a crystal instead of a rock that a high-grade elemental stone should have.

It is thicker and bigger, it also releases a hovering purple smoke around it.

The crystal is shaped like blazing fire and its color is a mix of translucent and purple shade, it is very beautiful to see as Adhara had never seen this kind of elemental stone before.

"Daniel will go crazy if I show him this, maybe I'll consult to Rex first", she mutters in thought.

Inside the underground chamber where Rosie is kept, the royal Vampire guards are nowhere to be seen leaving only Calidora sitting on the side beside the chained Rosie.

She's currently sitting in a meditative position with a big bowl of blood in front of her.

The edges of her body are glowing with blood energy as the blood inside the bowl started to decrease, it's clear that she's consuming the blood through her meditation.

While this is all happening, Rosie didn't once lift her head up.

She just stayed with her head down in her place unmoving with a weak body that noticeably got thinner, even her wrists are bruised and bleeding thanks to getting chained for so long.

After a moment, Nezera walks inside the chamber followed by two royal Vampire guards.

Nezera glance to the side and finds Calidora meditating there, she's confused as to why she's here but decided to not bother her, "Bring her to the Sacrificial Chamber"

"As much as I wanted to keep her, the Origin will bless us if we sacrifice her", she added.

Hearing this, the two royal Vampire guards nodded their heads before the both of them walks closer to the unmoving Rosie intending to bring her away.

But when they are nearing Rosie,

They both crash onto a blood barrier protecting Rosie, it prevents them from getting closer.

Both of the royal Vampire guards are confused since they didn't expect there would be a blood barrier, they snap their necks at Calidora instinctively.

Nezera also did the same as she didn't know why there would be a blood barrier.

Under their gazes, Calidora takes a deep breath before exhaling roughly as she slowly opens her eyes exposing her Vampiric Eyes that are already activated.

The Vampiric eyes then glance at the royal Vampire guards before Nezera,

When Nezera was about to ask why she made a blood barrier around Rosie, out of nowhere, two majestic wings sprouted from Calidora's back emitting a huge amount of blood energy.

It was so powerful that even the royal Vampire guards feel threatened.

Calidora's majestic wings are steel black with the inner side a mix color of violet and red, they don't have any feathers but only tough skin and bones instead that amplify her blood energy.

The wings are very pleasing and beautiful to see,

Seeing this, even Nezera can't help but be surprised when she saw that Calidora's wings spanned about three meters to either side which triumph over the royal Vampire guards' wings.

The span of a Vampire's wings is the determinant of its strength,

Just from looking at this alone, Nezera exposes her fangs as her mouth quirks into a smile, "My dear daughter, you've reached the seventh rank already?"

"Yes, mother...", Calidora replied lightly as she stands up from her meditative position.

Hearing the news that Calidora reached the seventh rank already makes Nezera excited as her eyes glowed, but then she asks, "Why did you make a blood barrier around the Chosen One?"

"Is it time to sacrifice the Chosen One?", Calidora asks ignoring her mother's question.

Nezera frown upon hearing this as she knows that Calidora is redirecting the conversation, but she nevertheless replied, "Yes, keeping her from the Origin long enough is not good"

"We need to sacrifice her in order to make the Origin happy since she serves nothing"

"Perhaps, the Origin might bless us by Awakening our own Prince"

But out of nowhere, Calidora clings to Nezera's arm as she looks at Nezera with puppy eyes, "But mother, I still want her blood for myself! Can we please postpone the sacrifice?"

"Calidora, that's not how a princess should act toward the Origin", Nezera reprimanded.

Instead of backing down, Calidora hugs Nezera's arm tighter while still giving her the pleading look before she finally crumbles under her daughter's gaze, "Fine..."

"Don't tell your father about this, I'll postpone the sacrifice but not for long"

Hearing this, Calidora smiles brightly as she excitedly said, "Thank you mother, I won't tell father so don't worry. You're the best!"

Nezera can smile lightly as she missed this side of Calidora when she's normal.

"How's the matter with the Elves?", Calidora suddenly asks.

Nezera signals for the two royal Vampire guards to leave the chamber before she replied, "Queen Shanaela has proven that the one attacking us was not the Elves, but it was humans disguised by Elves since the power they used is not Nature Energy"

"But still, your father is very stubborn and suspects them of attacking the high-rank Supernaturals because of the supposedly Werewolf that destroyed Thyssys", she added.

Calidora thought for a moment before she suddenly said, "Why don't we send the Izora Family?"

"Izora family?", Nezera repeated in confusion.

But Calidora then added, "Although corpses' blood will decay and lose its distinguishable taste, the Izoras have the best sense in terms of blood thanks to their blood frenzy. Not many of us can distinguish a decayed corpse's blood, but if it's the Izoras..."

"Hmm... that is plausible but the blood of the corpse might decay too much at this point"

After brief thinking, Nezera finally decided just to try, "If this might possibly end the misunderstanding then I'll gladly try", she said before rubbing Calidoras' head and left.

Calidora looks at the leaving Nezera before she turns towards Rosie with a sigh.

"There's no way I'm going to let the Chosen One be sacrificed, not when I know that if I killed her myself in front of him then I'll be getting his undivided attention all for myself!", Calidora mutters with a crazy psychotic expression.

Rex is currently sitting on top of a weird-shaped rock while looking at the scenery, he's now at the new canyon that Evelyn told him about.

With the other descendants from the 25 Golden Crest families with him,

The Atkins Family will not dare enough to cause a ruckus with him with them around, he will be messing with the other families if they decided to attack Rex here and endanger the others.

So that is why Rex will not need to worry about them attacking here.

In Rex's vision, the canyon in front of him stretches to the end of his vision with dry terrain almost like a desert covering it.

Unlike the canyon where Rurvi lies,

This canyon is not an underground canyon as it is located in sector 2C where the sector is known to be dry from an unnatural event, it's in a remote place with no buildings around.

One might question why would a high-rank Awaened decided to live here,

But the major reason for living in such a dry terrain is that sector 2C has six active mountains around, this causes the fire mana in this place to spike, unlike in any other place.

There are no trees in the surroundings except for weird-shaped rocks like Rex is on right now.

Aside from the dryness, rocks, and cracked grounds devoid of life, there's a river in the middle of the canyon and the water is green for some reason.

Rex is currently looking at his inventory with a smile,

Inside his inventory, there is a high-grade lightning elemental stone that has a quantity of 4137 which can't help but put a smile on his face.

This was all thanks to Devo who can sense concentrated lightning mana,

Rex immediately knows where to go as he punches open one of the rocks that turn out to contain many lightning elemental stones inside, it was a huge jackpot for him.

Hearing this, Rex shrugs his shoulders before he replied, "Don't be like that, I need to share this with the other descendants who is a Lightning Elementalist"

Rex's smile got even wider as he sits in a meditative position on top of the very tall weird-shaped rock, the rock is so tall that Rex can view the entire canyon from the top of it.

The other descendants also can see him sitting on top of it from below including Evelyn.

Evelyn just like the others are also exploring the canyon,

Since the canyon they're currently in has many hidden gaps, caves, and even cracks on the ground, the place is very much open for exploration.

Although at a glance the place is devoid of life,

Mutated animals are also roaming this place but they all preferred to be in the gaps and shade, but most of them like to hide upon noticing the descendants.

The descendants are here to explore the canyon,

It was stated that this place has been explored previously, there is nothing here except for rocks and dry land but then out of nowhere an earthquake happen and this river submerged.

This phenomenon is similar to the underground cave near the university.

Because of that, the 25 Golden Crest Families decided to explore this place to see if there's something new this place has to offer.

In about another hour or so,

The descendants gathered back to where they agreed to gather after exploring the entire canyon that spans many miles, nothing bad happened to any of them.

One of the descendants then said, "I've found a cave right over there"

"The cave is swarming with sixth rank mutated animals, they're numbering in hundreds so I can't reach it. We need to go there since there are many High-Grade Fire Elemental Stones there"

But another rebutted, "On the river floor contains High-Grade Water Elemental Stones"

"I need you guys to help me get that first before the cave, some need to be a lookout while the others mine the stones. The river is also swarming with mutated animals"

Thanks to their different objectives,

Dray who is also amongst them sighs as he already expected this much, the different motives of the descendants will surely cause something like this to happen.

This argument is inevitable between the descendants,

He then glances at Evelyn on the side and whispers, "Where's Rex?"

"He's been sitting there all this while...", Evelyn whispers back while pointing at a tall rock where a person is sitting on top of it in a meditative position.

Upon hearing this, Dray also looks at Rex who is sitting idly.

But for some reason, Dray can see a weird phenomenon going on around Rex's body as the heart media in the middle of his chest started to spark sky black lightning.

Thanks to upgrading his elements into an ultimate element,

Rex's heart media already turns into an almost finished Spirit Core, but now the Spirit core in the middle of Rex's chest has already the size of a volleyball.

It takes a moment before Dray and Evelyn sucked in a cold breath,

Both of them realized what Rex is about to do just from the glowing Spirit Core that is starting to become stronger,, "He's trying to break through?!"

A powerful thundering sound can be heard as a flash in the sky happened in a split second.

Rex currently is absorbing the High-Grade Lightning Stone in a frenzy,

The thundering sound silence the arguing descendants that are already sizing up with each other, all of them snap their necks to look at the sky in reflex.

"What's happening?"

"Thunder? Isn't it sunny befo-"

Before the descendants can comment further, they saw the sky is covered with thunderclouds.

The thunderclouds appear out of nowhere as even the thunderclouds can be seen moving at a rapid pace, water started to pour down from the sky as it started to rain.

Sounds of droplets of water hitting the ground slowly buzzing in their ears,

Just in a few seconds the sunny day turns dark and cloudy before it started to rain, this phenomenon confused the descendants but they suddenly saw something.

Rex sitting on the top of the weird-shaped rock is the cause of this phenomenon,

The sky black lightning aura around his body shot up to the sky as it attracted the thunderclouds, it was so powerful that the sky in dozens of miles radius was covered by thunderclouds.

All the descendants can see is the Spirit Core in Rex's heart media is forming to complete.

It is a sign of the seventh rank Awakened, they already formed their Spirit Core thus becoming more in tune with their spirit and also can use more of the spirit's power.

One of Devo's power from the system's description is weather control,

Rex right now can already show that weather control power by covering the entire sky with thunderclouds, before this he can only summon thunderclouds when using his spell.

But now, he can summon thunderclouds willingly.

Inside Rex's Inventory, the high-grade lightning stone quantity is decreasing rapidly.

The descendants cover their ears due to the loud thundering sound, a momentary silence covered the entire place before suddenly,

Even after a minute passed the force coming from Rex's body didn't recede at all, black lightning started striking places around Rex but thankfully none hits the descendants.

After the powerful shockwave,

The descendants were about to stand back up on their feet before suddenly the ground shook putting them off balance again, Evelyn falls to her butt as the ground shook,

She then raises her gaze and finds someone is already landed right in the middle of them,

This figure that landed amongst them has a cloudy body with black lightning sizzling around, its aura and black lightning are identical to Rex's.

But upon seeing the figure alone, Evelyn widens her eyes in realization, "This is not Rex..."
