Even though Weng Hao understood that what he had to do at that moment, was to benefit from the situation and take care of the two possible threats, for some reason he couldn't.
Cui Xie's words, his attitude, his look, his expression, his standing, made the Weng Family Head feel like he would die and be buried if he didn't teach him a good lesson.
Something that he wouldn't be able to forget even if he suffered a big blow to the head and suddenly got amnesia.
He had to make him understand that there were some people and some things that people are better not provoking, as they are unable to face the consequence of the following calamity.
With those thoughts in his mind, he quickly changed direction and didn't continue with his attacks on the Mayor and the Director of Police, but actually turn around and follow Cui Xie.
Seeing that he had succeeded with his taunting, Cui Xie quickly turned direction once again, as he started running away.
It felt like a game of catch between a little mouse and the big bad cat. The mouse would always turn around and taunt the cat to follow him, before actually running away once again.
The more he saw this happen the more infuriated was Weng Hao became, and the more determined did he became to actually follow behind Cui Xie.
He wasn't thinking as the Weng Family Head anymore, but just as someone with a big grudge and anger towards Cui Xie.
Someone that wanted nothing more than to kill his opponent and make soup of his remaining bones. Those were Weng Hao's thoughts at that moment.
On the other hand, Cui Xie seemed to be running for his life, he didn't seem to have any intention of fighting against the monster following him.
But his biggest problem and stupidity at that moment seemed to be done by himself, as he was actually running towards a place that would restrict his speed.
It was a small forest in the outskirts of the city, full of messy trees and empty. This place was the perfect place if someone wanted to make a secret deal or kill someone.
Seeing this happen, the anger on Weng Hao's face seemed to relax by quite a bit, as an ugly and disgusting grin started appearing on his face.
"Hahahhahaa~! Little mouse, let me see how you are going to run from me now! Don't worry though, I promise to make the time worth it! Hhaahhah~!"
Cui Xie seemed to have understood his situation as well, as he couldn't help but say back,
"Old thing, why are you following me only? Don't you feel bad for your people out there? Do you think they will be able to face the joint forces?"
"Haahaha~! Sure I know that, but you don't have much space to run, so I will go immediately to back them up, after draining the blood from your body!"
"You seem to have truly lost your mind old man! Just go and die yourself, why do you have to pull me down as well! I am too young and handsome to die at such a time!"
"Shameless brat! Just wait for me to kill you! I promise to not even let a piece bigger than a fist from your body!"
"I knew it, you are envious of my good looks, you damned old thing!"
"Brat it seems like you want to cut your seconds of life as short as possible! Don't worry, I will adapt to your wishes!"
Saying that Weng Hao actually seemed to speed up by quite a bit and was slowly closing the distance between him and his prey.
In less than 20 seconds he was already just 1 or 2 seconds away from Cui Xie, and they were really close to the forest.
No matter what their speed would fall inside there, as besides running, they would have to think of actually dodging the trees as well.
With those thoughts in mind, Weng Hao decided to make a last effort to make sure that things didn't need to proceed for long, as he speed up a little bit again.
He truly caught up to Cui Xie, so he extended his hand forward in order to grab his clothes, or a part of his meat just like an eagle trying to catch its prey.
All of a sudden, Cui Xie made a sudden jump to the left, while Weng Hao was actually met with the beautiful appearance of an RPG flying directly at his face.
Normally such an attack wouldn't be really difficult for him to deal with, but this time the situation was different as it was extremely close to his face, and he didn't expect something like this.
'Boooooommmmm~!'
The attack had succeeded in catching him off-guard, and there wasn't much he could do against it. it was impossible to dodge it, so he could only raise a barrier urgently to block it.
The next instant, a big explosion happened on the exact same place he had been running, as a massive cloud of dust, and dirt covered the area.
The weird part was that Weng Hao wasn't sent flying behind, and there wasn't even a sign of him at that moment.
It took the cloud of dust a few seconds to actually start dissipating, only to show a tattered and haggard Weng Hao, who had now a burned face looking angrily in the direction of the forest.
"Who are you!? How did my Weng Family offend you?"
The person he directed those words was clearly not Young Master Cui Xie, but to some mysterious and unknown figure dressed in black, carrying an RPG on his shoulder.
"Why so much nonsense!? It's enough to know that I want to kill you, and you want to survive! Why should we waste our time talking shit?"
With that said he pulled the trigger of the RPG once again and it was once again directed towards Weng Hao's face.
"Don't you think you are being a bit too shameless and vicious by using such a weapon in a fight between experts!?"
'Boooooommmmmmmm~!'
"Hahhahahahaha~! I had never thought that Weng Family Head had a knack for talking shit! You are reprimanding me using an RPG when you use a Blood Exhaustion Pill.
That's truly laughable!
I thought that you should understand better than anyone, that there is no such stupid thing as a fight between experts, there is only survival and death!
History belongs to the victor! Even if I kill you after you are with your throat slit, I would just say that I fought against a madman who had the strength of a demon! Hahhahaha~!"
Those words truly hit the ears of Weng Hao as they were things that he thought as well. He had never thought that someone would use his own ideology against himself one day.
Still, that didn't mean that he had any intention of being the one to die today. He was going to make sure that he killed this new guy and survived to become the overlord of Longgang City tonight.
All of a sudden, Cui Xie's presence and being didn't matter much to him anymore. He was totally focused on the guy in front of him. In his eyes, this guy was more dangerous than Cui Xie.
"Hahahah~! Well said, sneaky bastard! Now let me send you to the Yellow River for a quick swim!"
With that said, he blew the cloud of dust and dirt away and jumped towards his enemy with explosive speed, and a bountiful aura of killing intent.
He had decided to not hold back against this guy, after all even a tiger would hunt a rabbit in his full strength.
He couldn't afford to underestimate his opponent and suffer under his hands. Not to mention that he was still worried about the people he left behind.
Cui Xie had disappeared as well, and who knew what might that brat do to fight against his Weng Family's people.
It was clear that Cui Xie was a damn sly bastard that would do anything to win, just like the man in front of him.
His Family started things well, and with high morale, but they were extremely brittle. Right now, he was their biggest motivation, but once he was away, that motivation was bound to falter and fall.
He couldn't allow that to happen, so he had to return back as fast as possible in order to make sure that he continued to be the source of motivation for his people.
Thinking like that, it was vital for him to finish the fight as soon as possible, and return. Too bad that his opponent wasn't some upright expert that would fight him fair and square.
Seeing Weng Hao jump towards himself, the black-clothed guy actually took another two RPGs and fired them towards him, while using their impact to propel himself and jump behind.
Weng Hao was an expert alright, as he saw the RPGs incoming and immediately turned his hands into real claw-looking hands, and swipe towards the incoming RPGs.
'Booooooommmmm~!' x2
The two of them exploded in mid-air without reaching their target, as Weng Hao just jumped amidst the following fire and flames to follow behind the black-clothed guy.
What he saw though was probably the worst possible nightmare of his life, as he would have never thought something like that possible.
His enemy was certainly more wicked and sly than he was. He just understood what true wickedness was.
…
As Weng Hao was fighting with the black-clothed guy, Cui Xie finally returned to the battlefield. He was all alone…
