He immediately placed his arms in front of his chest, and tried to immobilize all the energy he could, and receive the palm.

Even though Young Master Ling was a genius of Realm 3, he wasn't much of a fighter within his realm, as his current achievements were attributed to external help and herbs.

For that reason the palm that the Elder of the Cao Family attacked him with, not only felt like he had suddenly been hit with a hammer and sent flying but even his arms had been broken.

The only positive for him could be said to be the fact that he was still alive and had survived the attack.

But there was no way that the Elder of the Cao Family would give up this easily, as he immediately followed behind the flying body, to land another palm on his head or chest.
