598 Chapter 598

Miss Mu was certainly surprised at Eric's sudden call and request as it came truly unexpected. Just what happened for this guy to actually call her and remind her of her promise?

How did he escape that little bi*tch Lu's control and a sight to actually make an appointment with her!? Could it be that he was tired of eating green and unripe grass, and wanted something better?

After all, in terms of experience in that area, Miss Lu wasn't even able to carry her shoes or clean her dirty feet.

'Hehehehehe~! Little bee, come to big sister! Big sister will show you a really good time and make you unable to leave without Big sister. Hahahahah~!'

With these thoughts in her mind, there was no way she was going to refuse Eric's words, despite her workload, as she said,

"Very well little brother, I will be counting the minutes until you come to my room! Big sister will give you a great surprise later!"

On the other end of the call, Eric just let out a light chuckle, before he said,

"Hehe~! I will be counting the minutes as well then!"

With that, he ended the call and returned to the garden once again. He didn't have anything else to do there, as he had dealt with everything he had to do.

Still, that place was his favorite place in the whole Long Family Mansion because it had become his cultivation spot.

Since it was empty almost all of the time, he knew that the Long Family people were training someplace else, somewhere much better than there, but for the current him this place was perfect.

One hour passed by quickly as he was awakened from his cultivation by the sound of the incoming call from his 'benefactor'.

"Little brother, everything is ready! You can come anytime, I am sending you my location!"

Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, in order to find her room, Eric truly needed her location, as this place was just that big.

It would be a bit troublesome to walk through the hallways without someone to lead the way, but he had his spirit sense, and as long as he used it carefully he wouldn't alert any trouble.

With those thoughts in mind, he immediately started walking towards his destination, as he passed by many servants and maids on the way.

All of them threw him weird looks, and whispered to each other, before turning to do their own work.

Eric could hear everything they said, mostly it was news related to his relationship with Miss Lu, and the fact that he was wandering around when he was just a little gardener.

They didn't understand his reasons, or his audacity for doing something like this, as he was going closer and closer to the Inner Mansion area.

"You there! Where do you think you are going!? Do you know what is in that direction!?"

"Me!?"

Eric pointed at himself while looking around to see if he had heard wrong, or if the guy was truly directed at him, as he questioned.

"Of course you, you lowlife! Who else!? What are you doing here?! Where are you going!?"

Looking at the guy that was coming in his direction, Eric couldn't help but feel like shit was coming towards his shoe, and that he wouldn't be able to escape this stink no matter what.

Still, he kept his composure and calm, as he said in a neither overbearing nor ass-licking tone,

"I know! This is the Inner Area of the Mansion, I am going to Miss Mu's room she has invited me for a meal!"

Seeing Eric's unperturbed expression and hearing his calm and cool voice the servant could easily tell that he wasn't lying.

But he didn't like the fact that Eric was like that in front of him, as his sense of pride and arrogance took a great hit.

He had been one day just like Eric, a lowly servant of the family, but now that he had grabbed the thigh of Young Master Long Hui's butler, he had raised ranks quickly.

Now he had become a servant that could live and work in the Inner Area of the Mansion, which he took as a job of honor and prestige.

With the pass of time, he would only grow higher and higher, as his Young Master was one of the solid candidates for Family Master of the Long Family.

Every once in a while he would take a walk around the place in order to check if there were any lowly rats that were lost on this side, he would bully them while showcasing himself to them.

He was the sort of guy that upon receiving a bit of authority and power would start bullying the weak and fearing the strong.

There had been more than a few cases of him mistreating, beating, and bullying weak servants from the outer area. The maids and servants in the outer area didn't like him in the least.

For that reason, he was used that upon chancing any unlucky soul, he would start talking to him in fear and revery.

Yet, this lowly thing in front of him was treating him normally, without fear, and even an ounce of coolness in his speech.

He didn't like this in the least!

The more natural, calm, and cool Eric acted, the angrier and enraged he became. In that condition, he immediately pushed towards Eric with his right hand, while saying,

"Hmph~! Lying lowlife! Do you think I would believe your stupid lie? How would someone like you be even worthy of meeting Miss Mu! You are nothing…"

His hand was about to land on Eric's body while he was saying nothing, but unfortunately, the situation was different from what he expected.

Eric just twisted his body a little bit to the left dodging the push, but the poor servant was taken by surprise, as his own body weight pulled him forward, and he almost fell with his head to the floor.

It was embarrassing, shameful, and disgracing for him to end up like that, and his anger towards Eric was slowly turning into rage.

"Youuuu… How dare you, bastard!? I will kill you…"

Unable to bear this shame and disgrace, he immediately raised his voice and started screaming loudly at Eric, while was tucking up his sleeves and preparing to fight him.

In fact, even though he seemed like he was set on fighting with Eric, he was still a bit frightened after what just happened.

So he was raising his voice intentionally to attract as much attention as he could towards this spot. Like that, as long as he was caught, Eric would suffer for everything he had done.

"What the hell is happening here!?"

As he was screaming and tucking up his sleeves, a young womanly voice suddenly destroyed his scream, and grabbed everyone's attention, as Miss Lu walked towards the duo.

Eric couldn't believe his luck right now, as he was actually caught between a rock and a hard place all of a sudden.

While he had no intention of hiding this from Miss Lu, he still didn't want her to learn about this in this way.

"Miss Lu, ho-how come you are here!? It's this bastard, Miss Lu! He is just a lowly servant of the outer area, yet he comes to snoop around on this side.

There have been some rumors of lost belongings lately, and I wanted to comprehend him as a potential suspect!"

"What!?"

"Yes, Miss Lu! It's just that when I tried to stop and ask him, he suddenly started attacking me like a lunatic, leaving me no choice but to answer in kind!"

"Really!? What do you have to say for yourself!?"

"You shut up, I didn't ask you! Tell me what do you have to say for yourself!?"

Miss Lu's words came a bit weird to the servant, who couldn't help but try to explain everything on his side once again, but he was even more shocked when he heard her next words.

For some reason, he started feeling like the situation was turning into an unpleasant one for him, as he could only look in shock towards Miss Lu and Eric, while Eric said in a light voice,

"Do I truly need to explain this!? I just came here to meet Miss Mu, but this guy started acting like the owner of this place!"

"You came here for what!?"

"I came here to meet Miss Mu, she is treating me to a meal!"

Miss Lu had totally disregarded the idiot by the side as she was immediately vexed by Eric's words. She didn't expect him to come in this part of the Mansion, to meet that viper.

She didn't like it in the least!

"Youu… Do you want to anger me to death!? Didn't I tell you that she is dangerous and that you should stay away from her!?"

"You did, and I thanked you for the warning, but I am old enough to make my own decisions don't you think!? Furthermore, I am here just for a meal!"

"Youu…"

The poor servant on the side didn't dare to even breathe loudly as he understood that if he took Miss Lu's attention, he was dead. In fact, even that would be taken as a light thing.

"Well if this is over, I will take my leave! Someone is waiting for me!"

"You stop right there, I don't allow you to go! You don't have permission to enter the Inner Area of the Mansion!"

The moment that he heard that, the arrogant servant beside her became happy, thinking that he was given right.

"Who said so!?"

Just as the arrogant servant was about to start again in joy, he heard another voice that stopped him at his feet. Miss Mu had appeared, and the situation tensed up extremely…
