Hi, everybody. I have recently started a new novel called Strict Wife of the ’70s Manages the Household. It already has 17 chapters. You can check it out HERE.
This batch of photos was not to be taken by her alone. There were also two other people from the company who were scheduled to take theirs alongside her— a male and a female.
The girl had a sweet-looking appearance. She started to be a model at the tender age of 15. She started off with the ‘Lolita’ concept, before changing her style to the ‘Xiao Qing Xing’ concept, which was something that she tried before in the early stages of her modelling career.
She remained in the semi-popular state for three years after her debut as she had some fans in both WeChat and TikTok. Some comic fiestas would also invite her as a guest judge occasionally due to her specialisation in Lolita concepts back then.
On the other hand, the boy was a pretty well-known internet star. He was pretty good-looking, but after putting on makeup, the side profile of his nose seemed to be slightly awkward.
Xu Xinduo reminded herself time and time again to not appear as if she’d never seen the outside world before, but her eyes were frequently attracted to the side profile of the boy’s nose.
In Northeastern dialect, it meant that the sides of his nose were black.
This dirty type of makeup would also be a pain in the later stage.
They had a respective theme to follow— Xu Xinduo and the cute girl were besties, the boy liked the girl and Xu Xinduo regarded the boy with an enemy intent.
It basically meant: my bestie is my precious baby. If you dare to treat her unfairly, you better know of the storms I’d conjure against you.
Xu Xinduo was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers in the photo. The costumes seem to be rather inconspicuous at first glance, but outfits like these would usually attract more attention.
She didn’t deliberately wear a short wig, but the noirette tied her long black hair into a ponytail and let her bangs remain. Her entire being looked very neat and tidy, seeming to be very capable.
The shooting location was in an arcade. One of the shots was of Xu Xinduo holding the girl’s shoulders and looking at the boy.
The cameraman pointed his camera at them as the assistant beside him said, “Duo Duo’s eyes can be a bit more provocative.”
Provocative. Xu Xinduo immediately thought of Tong Yan. That kid usually looked provocative when he was looking at people. As long as she could imitate that look in his eyes, this sort of gaze wouldn’t pose a problem for her at all.
The photographer said immediately, “Not bad, it looks good.”
After the photoshoot, Xu Xinduo found that the staff that was accompanying her had already left when she was sorting out her clothes.
She was not well-known in the industry yet, so she had no assistants by her side. Brother Zhang had left to attend to his other matters once he dropped her off as well, so she would have to handle matters by herself from now on.
Before that, they told her that they would prepare lunch for her. In the end, the photoshoot lasted till a little over 6pm and the aforementioned lunch wasn’t given to her either. Also, they never stopped the shoot for a break. The other two models never mentioned anything, so as a newcomer, she didn’t have the rights to comment about it.
Currently, everyone was planning to leave and call it a day, but she didn’t bring it up either. She changed her clothes properly and returned them to the stylist. After greeting all the staff, she swayed around in the mall.
She was so hungry that her stomach was aching.
She had a small problem—that was, when she became too hungry, her body would tremble uncontrollably. In the final stages of the photoshoot, she was just toughing it out and enduring her hunger.
