Chapter 2476 Try Not To Die
"Hahaha!" Sage Damian started laughing. "I knew I liked you. Join us if you have the courage."
"Then, I will." Rui smirked.
The other Martial Sages did not look too amused by the Void Prince's decision to partake in their battlefield. It was too dangerous.
"Your Highness, we will be going all-out," Sage Kole remarked with a concerned tone. "We won't be able to protect you."
"I don't need it," Rui calmly replied. "I'm not going to be fighting side-by-side with you, for one."
The Mountain of Fortitude frowned. "Then...?" "I will be acting as support," Rui explained. "I believe that I can contribute by sabotaging the Sage-level and quasi-Sage-level beasts." n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
They raised an eyebrow at his claims.
Had any other Master claimed that they could sabotage Sage-level beasts, they would most certainly have not believed it. Yet, when it was Rui, of all people, uttering those words, they had no choice but to take him seriously. After defying the impossible numerous times over, it was difficult to believe that he couldn't do something that he said he could. "You'll see." A smile cracked at the edge of his mouth. "Besides, I can take some quasi-Sage-level beasts just not the full-fledged Sage-level monsters."
This was the truth. Rui was confident in his ability to take down monsters and beasts after the gains that he had made when he had been in the Beast Domain, searching for the Divine Doctor. Before, beasts and monsters used to be his weakness due to the VOID algorithm not being suited to take them on.
Now, however, he had plenty of ways to adaptively evolve to them. He looked forward to finding out what his limit was and how strong was too strong when it came to beasts and monsters. When he was a Senior, he had lasted several minutes against the Chimera, a powerful Master-level monster that was under the control of the Mellow Dungeon, before breaking through to the Master Realm.
He didn't know whether or not he would be able to replicate a similar feat now that he was in the Master Realm. He hadn't fought a beast or a monster since he had departed from the Beast Domain, so he was secretly looking forward to their interception.
The war had satisfied his desire to fight strong Martial Artists. He had done plenty of that since the inception of the war.
Now he wanted to test his adaptive evolution against beasts and monsters.
After all, in Gaia, Project Water encompassed any and everything that could be adaptively evolved to. That included beasts and monsters; they were just as important to him as Martial Artists.
RUMBLE...
He was approaching a region where each and every beast was so powerful that they could annihilate him in the blink of an eye. Even with all his Martial prowess, he was truly endangering himself just by remaining in this zone.
And yet, it was also when they arrived that they truly understood the horror of the Beast Domain.
An endless wave of powerful beasts and monsters.
If not for the fact that Martial Artists were categorically superior, they would be doomed by massively superior numbers.
RUMBLE!!!
"ROOOAAARRR!!!"
"KRRRIIIEEEKKK!!!"
"RAAAWWWRRR!!!"
Monsters and beasts of all shapes and sizes surged forth in a frenzy, rampaging head-on without any hint of reluctance.
Simultaneously, the arrival of the Martial Sages created a diverging stream of weaker beasts and monsters who sought to avoid them and head on down further where they would be intercepted by the Martial Artists of the weaker Realms.
Meanwhile, the beasts and monsters who were just powerful enough to not be entirely deterred surged straight forward to the Martial Sages.
"Try not to die." Sage Damian flashed one last grin towards Rui before surging forward towards the beasts and monsters.
Rui's eyes widened as he watched the Martial Sages output more power than he had ever seen in his entire life. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
They deployed tremendous high principles, far greater than anything he had ever seen in the Master Realm, to output astronomical power to curb the rampage of the beasts pushing them back as they began the culling.
