Chapter 2504 Kill the Beast

Each day that passed since the inception of the Beast Incursion bore heavily on human civilization.

Each day, countless people died.

Each day felt like a year as the horrors of the Beast Incursion seemed to slow the passage of time down in a manner reminiscent of the manifold. In just the span of a week, half a millennium worth of human establishment and history was wiped out as the beast tide began overrunning much of it. The people that resided in the fallen nations, polities, and organizations were unable to escape and flee.

They all perished.

However, the same could not be said for Martial Artists.

Although countless Martial Artists perished in the destroyed portion of human civilization, countless more retreated after it became clear that they would be unable to turn the tides, literally, and would merely be dying a vain death.

Only a minority of them possessed the honor to die in battle to complete their duties. Many more were simply self-preserving or pragmatic in their decision to abandon what was clearly a doomed battle.

Many resolved to contribute by regrouping with more powerful forces. This was an inevitable decision for those that fleed, there was no point in regrouping with weaker forces who were also doomed.

And thus began the great migration of Martial Artists.

The Sage-level powerhouses, who had turned into the ultimate defenders of human civilization, received the greatest influx of Martial Artists. Instinctively, all Martial Artists understood that the Sage-level powerhouses could not be allowed to fall. If they fell, then it was clear that human civilization was doomed.

Thus, all fourteen powerhouses across the vast Panama Continent began receiving a massive influx of Martial Artists that shored up their defenses and protected them. These nations welcome all of them with relief, immediately deploying them to protect the nation or other interests related to issues caused by the Beast Incursion.

Yet, of all the powerhouses in the world, the Kandrian Empire received the highest influx of refugee Martial Artists. This was because the nation was known to be the most powerful Sage-level powerhouse in the entire world. If there was any nation that could serve as the capital of human resistance, it was the Kandrian Empire. It was already a hot stop for Martial Artists looking to make the most of the treasures that had triggered the third Great East Panamic War, and now it was the greatest pitstop of all Martial Artists that sought to fight back against the Beast Incursion or simply find a stable nation that was more than equipped to protect them.

Regardless, over the span of a week, a flood of Apprentices, Squires, and Seniors each reached the Kandrian Empire in desperation, seeking refuge.

They even received Masters.

Not just any Masters, but some of the most powerful Masters in human civilization.

"Your Majesty, a cloud is approaching the Kandrian Empire."

A lewd smile appeared on Master Zeamer's face as he ogled her body. "Hehehe, if you want to find out how much of an animal I am, why don't you join us?"

"Hah!" she snorted. "A pathetic man who can't make women orgasm without hypnosis should know his place!"

"Hey! I can make women orgasm without hypnosis!" Master Zeamer took personal insult at her words. "Come, let me prove it to you!"

"Get away from me, lecherous animal!"

The other Martial Masters frowned even as they fought the beast tide.

"Master Reina, do you know this man?" Master Zentra tried placating her. "Hmph, he's just an old pervert," she snorted. "I suggest we dispose of him and get back to work."

"Hey! Leave me alone! I was just headed east to the Kandrian Empire!" Master Zeamer complained with incredulity.

"This is the Kandrian Empire," Master Zentra answered with a hint of exasperation. "Ooohhh..." A hint of realization dawned on the Hypnomaster. "Then by all means, get back to work. I am yet to finish my session. Isn't that right ladies?"

"I think we should kill him after all."

"We do not kill refugee Martial Artists, Master Reina."

"I think we should change our policies."

"That is up to the Emperor. I'm afraid you have no say."

"Hehehe..." The lecherous grin on Master Zeamer's face widened. "Looks like you and I are going to have a lot of fun, Reina. You are number two on my list of most wanted women. I shall bed you and add the feat and accolade to my hall of fame!"

"Tell the Emperor to forgive me this one time."

"Hey! Wait! Stop! I was kidding! Kidding!"

Master Zentra simply heaved a tired sigh before leaving them to their own devices.
