Chapter 67 Father Vs Son

"You insolent child!" Eros thundered, causing every part of the Soul River to shudder and echo his wrath. "You dare challenge me! I! The creator and ruler of the world your feet steps upon! The most powerful being in all of its depths. The alpha, the omega! The true source of Divinity, the creator of the Divine Quests, the Head of the Divine Table, the anchor of desire, the sole king of all Five Regions, the giver of Skills, and the only one who exists above!"

Aeric half-rolled his eyes. 'Jeez. Still a narcissist.'

"You dare challenge me!" Eros's face reddened with anger. "You have barely began your Divine Quests, you've barely began to ascend through the Levels or the Ranks. Who are you to think you can challenge me?!"

"Yes, father." Aeric smirked, standing his ground. "I dare. I can already tell that you have began your investigations against me, looking for ways to banish me from this realm without defying your natural order. Because your natural order obstructs you from harming or killing your own children, at least not without real proof of treason or evil against the realm."

Aeric stretched his hands sideways in a glorious pose. "I mean you can not blame me, father. You've surrounded me, a strikingly handsome young man with the most beautiful women and mothers in the whole Realm. Do not blame it on me if they prefer my young, majestic cock as opposed to yours. If they want it, they can get it."

Eros frowned, half taken aback. "You speak even more vile than I do. I fear you are too much similar to me."

"Similar?" Aeric raised a brow. "Isn't it a bit too early to use the cliché villain line? 'You and I are not so different'?"

Eros appeared confused. "What ever could you be taking about?!"

Aeric smiled. "Sorry father, but I am going to do what I want to do. And if what I want to do is sleep with all my far sisters and their Mothers, then that's what I do."

His pride also couldn't allow Aeric to take even one of his Daughters as a wife and mother to his children. He wanted them all to himself. They were his own Daughters. His wombs to fill.

So the only way this was to be done was by Eros forcing his son to obey the command. However, Aeric was defiant, rightfully so in his opinion.

Therefore, because of this, Eros's harem was in jeopardy, and it was his own son, the anomaly, that was threatening to take it from him.

"You shall have what you are asking for," Eros said with a look of angry resignation. "It will be Father Vs Son. My natural order bounds me from hurting and stopping you, but through my Messengers and my disciples; the fairies of Elysium, all of your advances on my wives and Daughters will be obstructed. My Divine Priests, Speakers and every being loyal to my command will be there every step of the way. You will not know peace until you succumb to my orders and stay away from my belongings."

Ignoring the words, Aeric continued to act smug. "Belongings? That's no way to refer to women."

Eros looked at him abhorrently. "Stupid child. Your jokes will be the end of you. I only show you a little mercy because you are born from my most beloved. Do not touch my Daughters, and do not touch my wives. You have been warned."

The face slowly receeded into the clouds, the spinning colors took over once again, slowly disappearing till it was all the silver and the darkness.

The floating water all collapsed back into the river and the Skill Tree was still once more, standing with the crimson leaves on its branches.

Aeric stood still, on his face was a painting of disbelief, worry and yet determination. 'Bring it on, father. I guess it's all part of the game.'

A game he was hellbent on winning.
