Chapter 155 - Chapter 154

((( CLAIRE )))

And I was amazed at how much farce Zhio could put up just to get everything he wanted to be fulfilled.

"Dennise!" one of the band members screamed excitedly.

"I'm glad you made it here on ti--"

Dennise poked a lollipop inside the mouth of her another band mate who tried to speak.

"Shut up will you? The more we talk, the more we commit mistake."

Okay. This had to be one silent screenplay.

"Here's your baggage and passport Dennise. And for our new member…Claire," a guy tried to hand me my passport but Dexter took it first.

Damn. He might knew it's fake.

But all the other people I am with looked confident enough.

Dexter looked thoroughly at the passport and the plane ticket before he gave it to me. I guessed they fooled him too.

"Take care Claire and be wary of these people you're going with," he whispered at me and bid his goodbye.

Dennise suddenly snaked her arms around my shoulders.

"I'm taking your sister for now, without any interruption!"

"Just make sure nothing bad will happen to her," Dexter looked at her sharply.

"Aye captain," she smiled before turning her head to her band mates.

"Let's go guys."

Just like that, I waved goodbye to my brother.

Please take care of our family for me. I'm glad at how great he has become as a man of the household.

Thanks Dexter…

"Have you contacted Dennise?"

Zhio asked me for the umpteenth time.

"Yes sir,"

I answered while scanning through the papers he's given me.

"They must have been at the airport by now. The Digital Band is there to make Dennise's story believable."

"Good. How's Claire?"

"She got dizzy again."

The flight was fleeting. In a wink, we're at the location. An issue that has to be resolved with the Zel Cantheliz branch and his worriedness for Claire seemed to be taking a toll on his patience.

He's been restless throughout the flight.

"Had they gotten home?" he asked me again.

His urge to ask about her whereabouts has been inevitably constant.

"Dennise hasn't yet called." I looked at my wrist watch.

"They should be at the mansion by now."

"Call her," he ordered before leaving me.

I dialed my sister but she hasn't picked it up. I heard her ringtone on the other line but the call just died. I dialed for a few more times but all of it failed to reach her.

I tried to call Zhio's chauffeur instead but he's not picking it up either.

Something's wrong here.

I called the mansion's head security officer to ask if the car that they rode in has returned. Just as I suspected, they still hadn't.

"Negative sir," the officer told me.
