"Can you leave me Claire?"

Why was he asking?

He sat by my side.

Could I ever leave him?

"I can't bear to lose you Claire…"

I glimpsed at him.

He's crying.  

Not as much as I usually do but there were tears falling down his cheeks.

He was sincere with his words and I knew it was heartfelt that it made him weep.

I nudged his back, "Crying doesn't suit you!"

But I hugged him.

"I'd only leave this place if you kick me out. But if you would…it'd hurt me a lot because…I've gotten to love you too Zhio."

He hugged me back so tight that I couldn't breathe.

"I can't breathe!"

He loosened his hug but his cry went harder.

"It's your mother's death anniversary and ironically your birthday. I'm pretty sure your mom is happy seeing you happy so don't be sad. Her death isn't your fault and nobody is to blame. Okay?"

He's silent.

So this guy could cry too? I'm glad I've seen his human side.

"I could only be happy if you are happy and here at my side. I love you so much Claire."

I wished I wouldn't fail him.

I laid my body down that fat couch and rested my head on his lap.

"The news has spread out everywhere; that Derick's fiancé is pregnant with my heir."

"She did that?"

"Yes. Dr. Eriez commanded for the immediate deletion of your pictures in the net but the internet denizens must have saved some before it was wiped out. We're on vigilant watch for your pictures possibly leaking to the press."

I bit my lip.

"Even your family was being bugged by the media."

I sat up.  

My family must have been surprised.  

They already knew I lied.

"Don't worry Claire. I've sent enough men to secure their safety."

"Zhio…my name is being feasted on by the public…"

He nodded and suddenly smiled.

"As my future wife. And a Zel Cantheliz."
