"That looks appetizing…"

I still couldn't perfect cooking but my dishes didn't turn out so bad. And as usual, Claire was eating it all with utmost delight.

I've been her personal chef for almost a month already.

It was exhausting but I was getting used to it.

She's three months in her pregnancy and nothing made me so glad than seeing both of them healthy and safe.

I pinched her nose as she ate what I've prepared for her breakfast.

"What?" She raised her brows at me questioningly.

"You're so beautiful."

"Yeah I know, like a long time ago already." "…and I'm so handsome," I added.

"In your dreams." "Are you done?"

I collected the empty plates, "Go and rest okay?"

We went back to the room.

I headed for the sofa but she followed me and rested her head on my lap.

"Zhio…"

"Huh?"

"How's my family?"

"They're in the best condition I could give them." She nodded.

"I'm glad."

I squeezed her palms. I readied a surprise which I would present to her in the next day after I gathered enough courage to face her whole family.

I'm nervous of course.

"When are you going to tell then the truth?" she asked calmly.

"After everything's settled…"

"And when's that?"

"Soon. I need to wed you before our little Kevin's born." She looked at me.

"Marriage…are you sure about that?"

"I'm more than a hundred percent sure. I love you so much," it made me blush.

She smiled.

"Soon, huh? I'm kinda worried this little balloon in my tummy would get in the way…I mean the dress and other stuffs you know…"  

"Baby Kevin," I said playfully near her belly, "Mommy's ashamed of you."

"No, I mean…isn't it embarrassing for me to wear pregnancy dress for a wedding gown?"

"Then we could wed again. No matter how many times you'd like to get married I won't tire out, as long as I'm the groom and you'd be my one and only bride."

She pinched the side of my stomach.

"Go to sleep."  

She's fallen asleep while I combed her hair delicately with my fingers.

I never expected to have what I was seeing and every day, there's something inside my heart that was gladly anticipating what is to come day after day.

Maybe because I'm looking forward to being an actual father.
