"Compress…use the tightest closeness you could get so you'd look sweeter together."

I almost laughed at all her crazy ideas.

Claire latched her arms around my shoulder.

Both Claire and I were happy. …but surely, happiness slowly faded;

the laughs turned into the anticipated goodbyes and happy noises disappeared into the usual quietness of the mansion.

"Are you all really going now?"

Claire felt the sadness more than I would.

"It'd be a shame if we stayed longer. You have your own family now Clarita," Claire's stepmother said,

"We have our own paths to walk now. We'll be going."

She wasn't able to stop them from leaving. And in a few hours, I'd be leaving her again.

Sya was already preparing my luggage when we came back to our room.

"All of you looked so happy earlier," she said.

"We were," I sat at the edge of the bed, "I'm leaving Claire at your care. Please watch over her. I'd be calling every day and please don't hesitate to call me if something bad happens."

"We will Zhio." Eriez would be the master of the house while I'm gone.

I ascended the staircase and looked around for Claire.

Where's she?

"Zhioooooo!" she was running.

"Do you really have to run? I'd be waiting for you before I go. I wouldn't leave this mansion without seeing you."

"I know. But I cooked something for you."

She really took effort to do that for me?
