The auditorium was bombed.

There were cahoots within the security and the bombing mastermind.

The exits were locked and even the breakable glass windows had been barricaded on purpose.  

Whoever planned that was a real goddamned motherfucker.

All of us in the household were restless about that news.  

"The bodies were extremely mutilated or charred beyond recognition. Dental records and or DNA test of all the recovered victims didn't match Atty. Wenziel," Deo said.

"Disregarding the possibility that he's gotten out the auditorium, Atty. Wenziel's body…or ashes…must still be under the debris."

"Fuck, Deo! Fuck!"

I broke the pen I was holding,

"Why the fuck do we have to get involved in this? We shouldn't have just attended that fucking Summit."

"The FBI is still investigating this incident. The company is also making its own investigation…but the FBI sent a warrant earlier …for you."

I lifted my gaze to Deo.

"Why would they give me a warrant?"

"They're investigating the people who left the auditorium starting a month before the arson and bombing happened. Basically, you and I left that building a day before the Summit ended. But they're specifically more concerned about your social status, capabilities, and reasons. I already went in for the questioning."

"You have to attend the hearings for the case Zhio," one of my lawyers added.

"Is that a joke?" I leaned against my seat,

"I went back to the country for Claire and our baby. I wouldn't even think of bombing that fucking auditorium."

They murmured in agreement.

"We won't let you down. But we have to prepare for all the hearings and all the evidences they would present to the court," one of the lawyers said.

"You really have to clear my name. I'm innocent."
