((( RHIO POV's )))
I could hardly believe that I was a father...and that Jasmin's the mother. I watched them both as I promised myself silently that I would never let our relationship fall apart again. Our son has finally came and we needed to raise him up to the best we can.
"He's not crying. Good little boy he is," Jasmin cooed.
"He didn't inherit your tears, thankfully." She glared at me, "He's just a nice boy."
"Do you know what Kevin means?" She looked at me curiously.
"Handsome," I smiled.
"Our Kevin is really handsome. Where do you think you got your genes baby? Daddy's handsome…right baby?" I smiled at what she said.
This madwoman trying to compensate for her mistakes. As if he heard and disagreed, baby Kevin stirred from his crib and cried.
A female doctor assisted Jasmin as she tried to b.r.e.a.s.tfeed him.
I left them alone in the room as I went to arrange our flight back. I'm not confident about our security so everywhere I go, I have my men on guard. I'm in the territory of my enemies.
"By ten o'clock, Jasmin and the baby can be transferred to your hospital," Deo said.
"Get the car ready."
"All ready, Sir."
"Good."
I went back to Jasmin's room and saw her asleep. Both of them were asleep. I took a deep breath and reminisced how I made my life so chaotic until they both came into my life. And the mess I created…will surely reach them.
I watched Jasmin's face and knew that our world will be spinning in unison now for Kevin. I'd force myself to have enough time for them and hoped Jasmin was thinking just the same.
Only the Lord can say how much I love them.
