((( JASMIN POV's )))
"That's still how I see that painting."
"Me too. Although its blue color symbolizes sadness, it also represents calmness, peace, and happiness," I replied to Mrs. Chin.
"When is your departure?"
"Later."
"So you really just dropped by?" I nodded whilst my gaze remained on the painting.
That piece calmed me down every time. It made me gradually remember my identity and the things that happened almost five years ago.
"Before I leave, I really wanted to pass by here and see the beach."
The beach.
It was where they found me unconscious that day, five years ago. I almost died in the water.
"We're glad to know you have your memory back. I'm sure, all your loved ones will be surprised of your comeback," she said.
"Yes. And I'm very excited."
"You said you've just given birth when that tragedy happened?"
"Yes. It has been five years since." It was Charm.
I was surprised to see her.
"Next week, my son Kevin is turning five years old!"
Charm smiled at what I said. "Then it's a good idea that you're going home," she added.
My smile abruptly disappeared. "I'm scared."
"Why?"
"Because…" Charm patted my shoulder. "They'll understand. I'm sure they'll even cry when they see you."
As we walked by the seashore, I couldn't help thinking about the life I left five years ago. It was strange that Rhio didn't look for me. Why?
Did he hate me?
Then, what will happen if I return?
"Thank you so much for what your family has done for me for five years," I smiled at her.
"I'm glad I found a family in your place."
"Nah. You should be thanking Dr. Iach. She's the one who helped you remember everything."
"I went to see her yesterday and thanked her for that."
"Then," she reached for my hand, "Don't forget me after you get back home."
"Never."
"I hope your family will be as happy as that painting."
