Lu Fang's parents had left ahead and just as the couple arrived at the parking lot. The General was waiting for them.
"Lu Fang, can I have a word with Andy?"
It took a second for him to agree, but before letting her go, he made sure to pull her hair back down properly flaunting his kiss marks. "Now be a good girl and make sure he understands that you belong to me."
She giggled and said, "Did you put enough hickeys on me?"
"Three, there are two on the left side so make sure to extend your neck in the other direction."
She winked at him and smiled just before she walked over to the General.
"Andy, why? Do you love him?" The man in uniform asked. As he faced her, he did not miss the girl's red marks on the neck making him envious. She was never like that with him.
"Dong, I don't know yet but I really like him. You are asking why? I don't know myself. It just happened. He makes me smile and to me, his touch is so compelling. Because of him, I am starting to forget the pain. Dong, please… let's just be friends."
General Lei massaged his temples hearing this and gave a sigh. "I'm sorry Andy, you know that I love you, right?"
"I know. I know. That is why I tried to stay away from you so you can move on… Please, Dong. Let me be."
"If he hurts you – "
"He won't. Deep down here, I know he will never hurt me." Andrea said placing a hand to her chest.
Seeing the tension has already cleared, Lu Fang called out as he approached them. "Babe, in the car now."
When she got to the backseat, Lu Fang turned to speak to the man, "I hope this will not come between us, General. I can see the way you look at Andy and I can tell she has a special place in your heart."
"Hmmm…" He smiled back to Lu Fang and said, "I was patient with her. I thought she needed more time, but I guess, I am not the one for her… Don't ever hurt her. I will not hesitate to take her away if you do."
"I love her. I will never hurt her."
"Ahhh... F***! I am f***ed up. Haha! You are a lucky man, Lu Fang." The General was scratching his head while looking at one direction to another while saying this.
"Hey, we win some and lose some. right?"
"Well... I guess good luck is all I can say."
Lu Fang extended his arm to shake his and with a firm handshake, they re-established their partnership.
Later that day, Lu Wei went to the Gabriel's Den with his son, Andrea, Gao Rou and Xio Hanxi. They had seen the videos of Ariana Chan trying to send information from Director Wang Young's office. They were also able to record Lui Min's cheating ways rocking his assistant in a penthouse that he rented for her while discussing how much more money he needed to zero out his dept.
"Lu Fang had already ordered to stop the payment to Zianxi Corp. and looked into what materials that were purchased from the company. I just need a little more and I would have already paid the loan sharks 5 million dollars. They would have given me another year to pay off the rest."
"If only that darn Lu Fang would get killed already, I would get the remaining amount. Did you already send over the possible location of Gabriel's Den to them?"
"Relax, darling! I did. Poor Director did not have a clue. Haha! He will be blamed for all this."
As the video played, Lu Wei gritted his teeth frustrated with himself having a friend like Liu Min. They were comrades since college. He had helped him join the company and rise up to become the VP, yet this is how he repays his long-time friend.
"We can't submit the video as evidence since Andrea had set it up in their apartment. Technically, she was trespassing, but these can put Ariana and him behind bars for embezzlement." Lu Fang said as he handed to his father the paperwork of Zianxi Corporation which was primarily arranged by Ariana.
When Lu Wei scanned through the papers, he saw the bank signatories of the account under the said corporation were indeed Liu Min and Ariana.
"I want Liu Min to give the name first of who is after you. Bring him in, I want to personally take care of him." Lu Wei gave the order to his son.
"Yes, dad. Glad we are finally on the same page."
While the Lus were taking care of Liu Min, Xio Hanxi was getting ready to for another overkill as he started drinking a bottle of wine in front of Kanzo Sato's cell.
On the way to Gabriel's Den, Andrea had explained to Lu Fang Kanzo Sato's relevance to Xio Hanxi.
"The housekeeper was able to recall the unique tattoo on Kanzo's leg and coincidentally, he was spotted stalking Mrs. Xio days before the attack. It had to be him."
Lu Fang recalls the tragic death of the Xios which took the city by storm and the sympathy of citizens were able to drive the Yamamotos away from the country. He then regretted not interfering with the case. He could have brought Xio Hanxi justice in Gabriel's Den.
"Let him do as he pleased. When my problems are over, I will help bring back the Yamamotos to Gabriel's Den."
Andrea watched as Xio Hanxi beat the sh**t out of Kanzo Sato. With every punch, he groans in pain and anger. With every break he took, he screams in frustration and cries in sorrow. Although he was in the process of killing a man, he looked very pitiful. It was such a heartbreaking sight that Andrea could not help but cry herself. She knew this pain too well having lost her real parents at the age of 9.
When Sato was already lifeless. Xio Hanxi thought he would feel relieved even just a little, but there was no helping him. The agony was still there. He ended up crying harder and question why. Why had this happened to him and his family?
Andrea came to give her brother a hug. She didn't care about the bloodstains. She just wanted to absorb some of the hurt he was feeling.
"Shh…hush now…They say when you lose someone, you gain an angel. Hanxi, I'm your angel. Your parents made sure I'd find you and make you my family."
