Chapter 151 - Busy Sunday

Lu Fang's mansion did not have a guest room on the first floor. So for the past three days since their return from the hospital, Andrea was carried up to their room and down by her loving husband, each and every time. 

"This isn't really necessary," she protested while laughing as he brought her down for breakfast. "I don't remember Doctor Qi mention I cannot walk down the stairs."

"Hmmm, maybe not, but I just want to carry my wife. There should be no problem with that."

Yeong continued to stay with them and he intended to do so until Rou Yanlin and the Shadows are completely out of the picture. Together with Kim Han-joon and Xio Hanxi, they lived with the couple at their home. Gao Rou finally had several days settling back at his own home. 

At the dining table, Yeong reminded Lu Fang to stay with him in Korea for at least a month. He proposed to have Andrea come as well so they can visit together. It was a tough decision to make because business was booming and Lu-Wei Enterprises needed their president.

While Lu Fang was still undecided about when to leave for Korea, Han-joon will stay behind and teach him everything he knows with Andrea's guidance.

The man remembered well their conversation after leaving the hospital. Yeong had updated his siblings and Lu Fang that they suspected men from Project Zero have been following Andrea around. Yeong's Intel suggested that descendants of its original organizers wished to bring back the project. However, most of its research has been lost and thus, they intended to use and study the genes of their subject's children. 

"Han-joon tried to follow them but he lost track. It is specifically because of this, I have decided to leave Han-joon by your side. Hanxi will always stick to Andrea, so you'll have him help out as well. Moreover, this is another reason for you, Lu Fang,  to strengthen your fighting skills."

"By accepting Andrea into your life, you have to be prepared for the consequences."

"Pfft! It's not always that bad, babe. Trust me," Andrea said and winked at him. 

"Hmmm… I know, babe."

For the most part, he agreed with Andrea. They have had so many pleasant moments together, he sincerely believed that this storm too shall pass. However, it can't help but put him in deep thought. With him incapable of working effectively for an entire month, an additional assistant may not suffice.  

"Babe, I have an idea," said Andrea. "Xia Yanmei had just finished her master's degree and refused to take a position at the Royal Dragon Corporation primarily because she does not enjoy being constantly monitored by her father."

"She has been trained by Xia Ting himself. I've seen her work diligently and tirelessly. She would not only be an effective assistant but can stand in as your acting CEO with father's help. She would be the perfect candidate!"

Later that day, apart from checking the progress of their e-commerce site, the man received a full report about Yanmei's qualifications and work experience from his wife. He was soon convinced that she was competent to do the job. Besides, no one from the board or anyone of his executives would dare question a Xia to temporarily act as the CEO. 

Their Sunday did not get anymore lighter. They also received a call from General Lei. He revealed that they had finally spotted Han Yun come out of hiding. He was alternately dealing with the commissioner and Ravoski. If their prediction was correct, Rou Yanlin's assistant will soon return to where they have been taking refuge.

This was good news for the Lu Family. The couple informed Lu Jie and Lu Wei of the same and they started to make preparations for their archenemy's arrival at Gabriel's Den.

Before the evening came, Lu Fang and Andrea were already set on leaving for Korea after their wedding ceremony. It will give them enough opportunity to teach Yanmei about the company, at the same time, make preparations for the long leave. 

The couple was at Lu Fang's study that night and while the man got busy making calls, Andrea had other things in mind. Seeing her husband already settled with their plans, she came up to him and sat on his lap.

"Babe, no matter what, don't ever become too busy for me," Andrea said as she encircled her arms around his neck, her face pressed against his.

The man instantly felt sorry. It was supposed to be a Sunday yet; he directed all his attention towards work and Rou Yanlin.

"I'm sorry, babe. Thank you for reminding me," said the man as he gave her a peck on the forehead while his hand rubbed her arm lightly. "Did you want to do anything special tonight?"

Andrea sat up straight and glared at her husband in surprise. Her lips pouted at the same time before she reminded him, "Babe, it's a Sunday."

With an effort to make him comprehend, she bit her lip teasingly and added, "Remember? Sundays?"

Lu Fang's eyes squinted and responded merely agreeing that it was, in fact, a Sunday.

Disappointment clearly showed on her face that she stood up and stormed out of the study. "Fine! Have it your way!"

"Babe?"

"Babe, don't go up the stairs without me!" He ran out immediately hoping to catch up with her and as soon as he did, he hurriedly carried her, princess style. 

"Babe, we have yet to have dinner-"

"But, babe... I want dessert first!" Andrea protested trying once more to make him realize what she wanted.

The man tried to recall what was in the fridge, figuring out if any desserts were available, but only cheeses came close which, at the moment, his wife could not bear to eat due to its smell.

"Why don't we have food delivered instead-"

"Sex! I wasn't to have sex! Is that so hard to understand? It's a Sunday! We agreed to have sex every Sunday!" Andrea was so agitated that her entire face turned red as she said this. 

Fortunately, the other men were inside their respective rooms. Yeong was busy with work while Han-joon and Hanxi were enjoying playing video games.

Hearing his wife cry out for sex, the man gulped and asked, "Did Doctor Qi said it was safe?"
