While Han Yun was away, Rou Yanlin made a call in secret. Though his greatest asset in law enforcement has been found out, he still has a few men willing to give him intelligence having been in his payroll for such a long time in the past.
"The Shadows failed. The name of the assassin group was kept a secret Mr. Rou, but I saw some pictures and I could not be mistaken, Lorenzo was killed in the attack."
Rou Yanlin realized that his time may be up. He figured, it would be a good idea to escape while Han Yun was away, while he still had money left to run. It would only be a matter of time before the General found him especially since his resources had run dry.
As he was about to make preparations, he received an anonymous call. He was reluctant to answer at first but a text message came through saying, "We will help you get Lu Fang. In return, we want the list of your clients at the asylum."
He spoke to a strange man whose voice was purposely distorted to avoid being known. "If I give you what you want, how do I know you will follow through?"
"You don't, but you will soon go down without realizing your goal. If you live long enough in prison, you might still see the Lu Family go down."
Given his current situation, he had no other choice. The person on the other line was right, by accepting his offer, he had nothing to lose. He can only hope that those police officers whom he had paid off for so many years are still willing to help him escape should he find himself imprisoned again.
"I can only help you flee from Tianjin, but you need to leave tomorrow and disguise yourself. I can have an armored car wait for you at the port. My men will be there, however, I can only take you as far as Beijing."
Yanlin gave an evil laugh. Although the end is coming for him, he found a new ally to serve his revenge. Even if he is behind bars, another will continue with destroying the Lu Family.
He received a call from Han Yun detailing their meet with Ravoski and the Commissioner. Hearing his narrative, Yanlin gritted his teeth at the thought of being asked for the full payment when the mission failed. He instructed his assistant to cut off the amount in half before coming back to the island.
After negotiating with the Ravoski, Han Yun met with him the next day in a coffee shop, still conveniently located near the port. The commissioner came along as he was to come with Han Yun and go into hiding himself. One of his colleagues was to meet him there carrying the money, however, two hours had passed, but nobody came.
"What is the meaning of this Han Yun? Are you deceiving us?" Ravoski's voice raised as he slammed his hand onto the table.
"Let us head to the island. You can get the money from there," said Han Yun as his voice quivered in fear. He tried his best to stay calm. He thought, 'My master would never forsake me. Would he? Something must have gone wrong.'
Upon his arrival at Okeanos Island, servants came to greet him and his guests, but when he asked the whereabouts of Rou Yanlin, no one answered.
"Where is ? Where is he?" His voice was already loud enough for everyone to hear. Feeling uneasy he ran up to the master's bedroom and found his safe open and empty. All the money and important documents were gone.
He went to find a laptop and check the remaining bank accounts undiscovered by the police, but that too was emptied.
His anger went up the roof as he screamed at the top of his lungs in frustration. The master whom he had served all his life left him with nothingness.
Ravoski and the Commissioner came after him and saw Han Yun in despair. They both cursed and started to yell, questioning Yanlin's integrity.
After half an hour, boats in sirens came to arrive at the island alarming Ravoski and the Commissioner. Before they could step outside the mansion, riffles and guns pointed at them, soldiers came rushing inside quickly surveying the premises.
General Lei walked up to the second floor of the mansion and found Han Yun in tears with a pistol on his hand, pointing directly to his mouth. His hands were shaking, obviously undecided on his actions.
"Kill yourself now and you let him get away with all his misdeeds and even the way he abandoned you."
Han Yun's cry turned louder in resentment that his breathing became heavily labored.
"Why not come with me and uncover to the community his crimes, get the chance to kill him yourself."
"I want to kill him myself! I want him dead in my own hands!"
Satisfied with the results of his feeding, General Lei said, "I promise to let you do it yourself."
"He betrayed me! My life is already ruined. He ruined me... He Ruined me and left me with nothing! I will take him down with me!"
"Very well," said the General in amusement.

Rou Yanlin arrived at the port with the assistance of his servants.
It was just as the anonymous person said to him, an armored car was waiting at the port to aid him with his escape.
"Mr. Rou, this way, please."
Before he could climb up the vehicle, he saw Han Yun being pushed by Ravoski to a speedboat not too far from where he stood. He also saw the Commissioner followed them behind.
Although he felt sorry for Han Yun, he needed to save himself and keep the remaining funds so he can still live to see the day when the Lu Family crumbles in sorrow due to the death of their only heir.
Seeing the speedboat go, he climbed up the vehicle and got comfortable.
"Mr. Rou, my boss is asking about the documents," asked one of the armed men.
"Here." As he handed the files over, he saw small military boats leave the port, apparently hidden in between the commercial ships. He gulped at the operation and recognized, he slipped away just in time. Those where soldiers of General Lei headed towards his island.
