Before seizing Han Yun and his accomplices, General Lei was thinking of ways he could get everything he wanted from Rou Yanlin. He thought of a direct approach, but by doing so, he may not get the proof required to solve the cases related to the asylum. He had already acknowledged the old man's craftiness. He needed the former governor to completely and willingly hand him over the pieces of evidence.
He already knew where Yanlin was sheltering. They had also found Han Yun arrived at the ports of Tianjin. Soon, this assistant would go back to their secret location and a solid plan was called for. There was no one else to turn to, but the woman gifted with brilliance, Andrea's sister.
Li Wen agreed to help without misgiving. She did not want Andrea to worry about the perils any longer considering her pregnancy. The Commissioner's mobile had already been hacked, she just needed to figure out Rou Yanlin's contact which was necessary to lure him out.
By making the old man think someone was willing to helping him, they hoped that he would readily provide all the documents requested for. They also counted on his betrayal towards his conspirators. This way, Han Yun, most especially, can go against his own master by cooperating with the government as a primary witness.
As for Ravoski, the Li siblings assumed that instead of putting the blame on the Lu Family, the Shadows would be forever in hunting for Rou Yanlin. They aimed for this assassin group to have their anger deflected to the same person who hired them.
The person who led the team for the old man's retrieval was none other than Xia Hanxi. He was accompanied by three of General Lei's soldiers. They acted the part of helping him escape with the use of an armored car, when in fact, they were bringing him into another prison, one that he truly deserves.
Shortly after Rou Yanlin's arrival to Gabriel's Den, the Lu Family celebrated their triumph over evil. He had lost his most loyal assistant, and it did not take long for police officers affiliated to the former governor to be identified and put into question. Some were even immediately suspended from service.
Months following analyzing the evidence, several prominent figures were identified as clients of the former governor, those whose victims were put to prison in the mental institution and turned mad. The discovery took the country by storm. Citizens were dismayed of how the rich and famous had turned into cunning ways to get ahead of business or power.
As a result of his efforts, General Lei received recognition from the military and widely brought in support from many civilians, most especially the family and friends of the asylum's victims.
Time passed, the Lu Family had peace and quiet, no longer needing to look over their shoulders.

Back to the week of Rou Yanlin's capture, Lu Fang turned more at ease. He appeared to imagine the coming days with only happiness.
He would take Andrea on several dates, one that they never had to due to the constant attempt to his life. They both can go out publicly with none or at least only minimal security and have privacy. Then finally, in a week's time, they would get married in front of their friends and family.
He wished their life as a loving couple would be nothing more but perfect from then on.
Everything was going according to plan. Xia Yanmei agreed to help out Lu-Wei Enterprises and arrived in Beijing within the same week. Andrea's assistant would also arrive next week and Go Bolin was healed, already able to walk.
Anton Yeong went back to Korea but left Han-joon with the couple in case members of Project Zero were indeed coming for Andrea. Xio Hanxi stayed behind with his sister like he always did.
Andrea also made plans of her own. She wanted to go out shopping with her husband and prepare for their babies' arrival. They would have their honeymoon in Korea and forthwith have Lu Fang undergo his training with Yeong. While in Korea, she planned to attend classes about taking care of babies together with her man.
Unfortunately, it did not go as the couple expected. At the start of Andrea's seventh week, she began to vomit uncontrollably. Everything she took in came out within an hour.
For the past two weeks, Andrea experienced nausea and vomiting, but not to the same degree. She could keep nothing down, making her body weak and dehydrated. She started getting headaches and often fainted.
No one could have prepared the couple for the challenges to come arising from being pregnant.
Days before their wedding, Andrea was admitted to the hospital. They had to cancel the wedding temporarily and push it a week after, but the week passed, she did not get any better. In fact, she felt much worst.
It was an unpleasant decision for them both. The couple and their family had been looking forward to their ceremony for days only to be put on hold due to Andrea's condition.
Lu Fang could barely work at the office. In fact, they found themselves living in the hospital for an entire month.
One night, the man woke up hearing his wife crying. He was laying next to her in the hospital bed. Her back faced his, not wanting to show her pitiful self. The man had never felt more troubled seeing Andrea cry.
"Shhh…Babe, it's okay. Please, don't cry. Our babies will feel your unhappiness. You need to think about them too." He hugged her tightly into his chest, caressing her back before adding, "don't be too hard on yourself."
"I've been reading a lot about pregnancy and found out some women go through this stage."
Seeing no response, he tried harder to soothe her, "Shhh… turn to my side... Babe, let me see you."
Andrea did as told. She sobbed nonstop for minutes as the man remained comforting her. When she finally wiped away her tears, she looked up to him and with conviction, she said, "after I give birth, I want the grandest wedding of the century!"
"Anything you want, babe," he acknowledged as he nodded.
"I want the most expensive gown and a Cinderella glass slipper!"
"Instead of a car, I want a pumpkin carriage to bring me to the ceremony!"
"I want another engagement ring!"
Lu Fang gulped at some of her requests but given her condition, he had no choice to agree to her every demand... He would do anything for her.
