Chapter 174 - The Alternate Victim?

Patricia kept eyeing the food servers, hoping to find an instant accomplice. When she saw one young fellow who gave her a wink, she told herself, "Bingo."

She smiled at him and pointed out to the exit, suggesting she wanted to speak with him in private. The young man hastily walked to the direction, and they found themselves in the lobby's corner where Patricia made her offer. 

"I want you to work for me, you name your price. How about 20,000 US Dollars?" 

"Wow! What do I have to do?"

"You need to put this in Lu Fang's drink," said Patricia as she handed out a liquid vial of aphrodisiac. "Then, later on, I need you to help me bring him outside the tower  -"

"What? are you crazy? I am not doing that. The Lu Family is a powerful family in Bejing. They will find out my involvement in no time. I don't need your money. In fact! I will report you - "

"Don't report me!"

She panicked instantly. She did not think this young man would refuse the offer. "How about 50,000 USD?"

The young man merely laughed at her so she offered much higher, "Fine! 100,000 USD. When you have accomplished your task, I'll transfer the money to your account immediately!"

The young man's laughter turned into a serious smirk and said, "200,000 USD plus, I get to f**k you!"

"What? No - "

"Fine with me. No f**k, no deal!" He began walking back to the restaurant when he heard her call out. 

"Wait! Okay, we have a deal!"

Patricia was brought to the staff area where she was banged by the young man. She did not care what it took, so long as she gets Lu Fang tonight. 

Harold and Patricia had already strategized. They would wait until almost everyone has left. They already hired a man to make a distraction outside the tower and hopefully, that will give them the opportunity to bring Lu Fang outside as he feels the initial effects of the drug. They would offer to help him up to his suite and there, Patricia can take advantage of him. 

The contents of the vial were specially designed by Intramed's pharmaceutical. They had originally used the same with Darwin Clark. It initially makes the person dizzy before the arousal. The aphrodisiac also had mild enforcement, just enough for Patricia to stand since her heart cannot take too much. 

The unknown man had already entered the tower and was sitting at the penthouse lobby when he saw Patricia come out with a restaurant attendant. Seeing them try to find an isolated place, he followed them and eavesdrop on their conversation. 

He saw them come out of the staff area and could only tell what had happened. He felt sickened. Just the thought that he had once entered that disgusting hole almost made him puke. 

After they left, he went inside the same room and took what he found was necessary. 

While the Smiths were plotting against the couple, General Lei and Lu Fang took well their double celebration. They were down to their second bottle of wine. 

Sensing that Chunhua was already out of place, Andrea came up to her and invited her for a chat. She quickly agreed and joined her on the other table with the Xias. 

"So how long have you and Dong been together?" asked Andrea. 

"About four months."

"Nice! How old are you? Sorry to ask. I just thought you looked very young."

Chunhua smiled and nodded as she replied, Yup. I'm 24 years old."

"Wow! Lucky son of a b***h, he actually got a young girlfriend. Haha!" Andrea regretted what she said after that seeing her looking awkward. She immediately apologized, "I'm sorry. I don't mean anything bad about you being young."

Chunhua was quick to grin and winked a few times before saying, "It's okay. His mom had a similar reaction. I guess I should get used to it by now."

"He must treat you well." 

"Oh, he does," Li Wen interrupted then later added, "Auntie Lei Daiyu tells me that you had a baking session with her and I think that is quite nice."

"You should already do it so you can become much closer - "

"Andy! She is still young!" Andrea's suggestion was cut off by Li Wen.

She immediately zipped her mouth, seeing the piercing eyes of her sister. 

Realizing what she meant, Chunhua's face turned red, but after nearly a minute of silence, she came closer to Andrea and whispered, "Actually. We already did it."

Andrea's eyes grew wide. She tried her best to hide the excitement and pretended they were just having a normal conversation noticing Li Wen's occasional stare. She said to her, "Oh my gosh! That's a good thing… I guess."

However, instead of a smile, she saw a frown on Chunhua's face. "But after we did it once, we never did it again."

"On our first, I was so drunk. I could not remember a thing. I thought I would get pregnant but thankfully, I did not. Since then, we only did kissing and…" She looked down at her breast before adding, "and touching."

"Well, I guess my question is, do you want to do it again?"

"Duh! Why not? Who doesn't like to touch his body?"

Andrea laughed at her response. She may not feel the same way towards Lei Dong, but she absolutely loves touching Lu Fang.

"I can only wish you well, but as a woman in the 21st century, my only advice to you is you don't' have to be shy about asking for it."

Lei Dong was pleased to see Chunhua getting along with Andrea. He hoped Andrea would teach her a few things and overcome her shyness. 

While the two men continued to talk, a waiter then came to pour more wine. It was the young man Patricia had made arrangements with earlier. He brought two bottles with him, one specifically for Lu Fang.

After filling the man's glass, he hurriedly walked outside to collect Patricia's payment. 

Patricia was pissed but satisfied to see that the work was done. So she went with the young man and made the transfer. 

Lu Fang was about to take a sip of his wine when another server, one much older with a burn on his face, came up to him. "I'm sorry, Mr. Lu. My colleague made a mistake and poured you a cheap wine. Let me serve you this unopened one." 

The man was impressed with the good wine choice and agreed with the exchange. He handed the glass to the waiter and thanked him. 

General Lei, however, did not want any wine to go to waste and took the glass from the attendant, immediately gulping it down to his throat. 

The server's eyes grew wide, almost out of breath. He just saved Lu Fang from taking the drink, now, here was another man who fell victim to the plot. How was he supposed to tell him that the drink had aphrodisiac?
