Chapter 223 - Destroy You Unconditionally

Before Li Wen found Andrea in The Neptune Trader, Yeong and Lu Fang had already trailed Anges Dronne Duval in Paris.

Anges and her family were the owners of the clinic back in Molène island. To Lu Fang's point of view, she was equally accountable for what happened to his wife. He was positive; she knew of her husband's doing, somehow. 

When they approached her, it surprised them to see how inviting she was. She pretended to be shy and demure but all it took was Yeong to ask, "Do you want to have a good time?"

She willingly agreed. Due to her husband's usual absence, she slept with different men occasionally, but she was choosy. Only young and handsome men get to be in bed with her. She was very discreet about it, but unfortunately, she was already under Li Wen's surveillance when she indulged while her husband was away. 

Seeing the manly aura of both Yeong and Lu Fang, she was ecstatic to have a night with them. Unfortunately, it was not a night of pleasure.

Lu Fang was completely disgusted with Bertrand's wife. Anges was supposed to be a Greek name for holy or pure. Yet, there was absolutely nothing pure about her.

Taking her to a secluded home in Paris and sedating her was the easy part. Coloring her blond hair and curling its tips was another story. Both men had no experience in doing so, but they succeeded with Li Wen's instructions. 

When Lu Fang found his wife inside the ship, lying in bed, unconscious, her skin paled and had lost an incredible amount of weight, he could not help but become emotional. He was happy to have finally found her, but rage filled his heart. He initially had second thoughts about taking Bertrand's wife but seeing his own in such a pitiful state, he gained all the courage to turned vengeful altogether. 

It had been three days since they rescued Andrea from the boat. When they managed to secretly take her, they had to cut her hair and make her look like a man, dressed in the guard's uniform. They acted the part of rescuing unconscious employees, even sedating two doctors and one nurse in the process.  Thankfully, everything went according to plan. 

They had a doctor checked her vitals in a private clinic and it was in the same place where they took shelter since. The clinic was closed up just for their usage but because they feared the technology was not enough in the said private center; they agreed to bring Andrea to the UK for further treatment. 

Andrea remained in a coma, but according to the doctor who attended to her, the fact that she was still breathing on her own was a good sign. It devastated the man, realizing it may take some time for his wife to be awake, but to get his mind off a depressive state, he focused his attention on bringing down Bertrand Duval. 

Lu Fang was waiting for Alfred and his men to take his wife to the airport. He sat next to her in the bed and held her hand firmly when he left out his heartfelt thoughts, "Babe, I'll need to first take care of those who hurt you and then I'll follow. I hope when I get there you'll already be awake."

He kissed her hand from her knuckles to her palm before leaning forward and kissing her on the forehead. "I love you, Andy. I miss you so much. Chevre and Brie also miss you terribly. Please wake up soon."

Only the heavens knew how broken-hearted he was. He had never shed so many tears in his entire life. He only hoped that life would pay him back a tenfold of happiness. 

Yeong came into the room to inform that the Alfred had arrived, " The Medical Plane landed. Let's get Andy ready."

After settling Andrea inside the air ambulance, Alfred reminded Lu Fang of the steps to take over Bertrand's company. Since Alfred will return to Britain with his daughter, also as an heir to the Davies Group of Companies, he entrusted Lu Fang with the responsibility of negotiating further with their rival's business partners. 

Inside The Neptune Trader, Bertrand had been weeping for more than a day. Under his very own directive, his wife fell into a deep coma nearly ending her life. He reckoned it was the worst event in his life. Unknown to him, however, his misfortunes had only just begun.

After ensuring that Andrea was already in Alfred's private facility safe and secured, Lu Fang gave Li Wen the go signal in showing to the world the kind of man Bertrand Duval was, including the organizers of Project Zero. 

Li Wen forwarded to the authorities records of missing persons from all over the world. All of them were test subjects of Project Zero. The information also hinted that these individuals were inside the Neptune Trader, kept as prisoners. 

An untraceable website came about giving a live feed of the ship's activity. The videos revealed how their prisoners were wrongly medicated, tortured and subjected to brainwashing. The website included a well-written article on how the project began and how the test subjects were abused.

The captain heard about the website from his wife and he immediately reported to his employer. He ran towards the facility bringing with him a laptop and the moment he found Bertrand, he announced while gasping, "Mr. Duval! We have a problem - We - They have discovered us!"

After reviewing the said website, Bertrand's hands trembled. Not only will authorities come after him but also the investors. He assured them to keep the project highly classified, considering its inhuman practices.

His team tried to put the website down, but whenever they blocked a URL, another two came out. When they blocked it again, another four appeared. The cycle was endless.

They tried to rectify the situation by reaching out to one of the best hackers in East Europe, but within just minutes the said hacker came back to him with a warning, "Mr. Duval, the person who is making these websites is the genius, undefeated hacker and programmer known in Asia, the White Angel. For the White Angel to go out of his way and destroy you, you must have messed with the wrong person… I'm sorry, Mr. Duval, but I think your end is near. I suggest you surrender to the authorities."

Bertrand was shocked, to say the least. Seconds later he laughed. He laughed while his eyes teared up again.

"There is no way in hell, I am going to prison!" He declared with conviction. 

Suddenly, the lights went out. Everything was dark except for the laptop in front of him. Flashes of different surveillance footage began to appear, one by one; one from his office, one from his home and the last one was an aerial shot of The Neptune Trader.

Words began to appear on the screen that said, " You should listen when people give you advice. Sworn , the White Angel."
