Chapter 236 - They Are Ours

It was already late in the evening when the couple, together with Li Wen and Hanxi, arrived in Beijing.

Having missed her children completely, Li Wen decided to fly out to Guangzhou the moment they land as the Royal Dragon's private plane has been waiting at Beijing's airport.

Li Wen could see the worry on Andrea's face knowing that she would be left alone to find out about the Lus for herself. She asked Lu Fang to give them some girl time as the plane was about to land. 

"Andy, you'll be with Hanxi and although he is your younger brother, he is very caring and protective of you. You will not be alone to fend for yourself. Moreover, Lu Fang will always ensure that you are comfortable," reminded Li Wen. 

"Right and you did say they were nice to me," Andrea said as she nodded her head while crossing her hands against her chest. 

"Are you still getting visions and flashbacks?"

"A little, but none of which is about Lu Fang, the Lu Family and my children. How could I have fallen into such a state? I've always thought I was strong in both body and mind," said Andrea as she tried to recall about the hypnosis therapy she received. "Can I take a look at the hypnosis videos, Wen?"

"I don't know if that will be good for you, Andy. It might end up triggering some bad memories while you were held captive. Even Gabriel himself admitted the hypnosis process was very convincing that he felt tied to it at some point… Andy, promise me. Don't complicate it and just enjoy your time with the twins."

"I'm sorry, sis. I just can't help but be curious about my past."

"You have nothing to worry about, Andy. Lu Fang and the Lus, they treat you well. I put them to the test myself," Li Wen said as she winked at her younger sister. 

When the plane landed, they were welcomed by Lu Wei and Gao Rou. Having been briefed of Andrea's condition, they both introduced themselves. 

"Hi Andy, I'm your father-in-law, Lu Wei," he said as he gave Andrea a hug. "We were all so worried about you. We are glad that you are finally back."

Lu Wei's hug was very welcoming that Andrea felt relieved instantly. Gao Rou followed and also gave her a warm hug before saying, "Welcome back, Andrea. These past months haven't been the same without you."

Li Wen greeted and big goodbye to everyone but just before boarding the craft, she reminded the man to take it easy on his wife, "Lu Fang, Andrea is thinking of watching the hypnosis therapy videos. She has access to my server but when I get home, I will remove it from there. Do your best to dismiss her worries about having forgotten."

"I understand, Wen. Don't worry. I'm sure the twins will keep her occupied. Plus, the problem with Andres islands."

In the process of taking down those responsible for Project Zero, Lu Fang had to sell 10% of his shares to a businesswoman, named Isabella Ricci. This same person was connected to one family who financially supported Bertrand, but only as an acquaintance. She just happen to have information that hastened his pursuit. 

After joining the management of Andres Islands, Isabella ordered to change the marketing direction of the resorts. It had been Chinese-friendly for some time but since she was Italian; she wanted the resorts to focus on the Italian market. It was an equally great idea, only that with Andrea not being around, there was no one to act as a moderator. The resort's managers all did not give Arti the same confidence as they did their original boss. 

While driving their way to the old Lu mansion, Lu Fang told Andrea about the condition of the resorts which immediately took Andrea by surprise. "You know about my islands?"

The man chuckled and responded, "I just told you I ended up selling my shares. So, yes. Tomorrow, I will ask your assistant to come by the house and discuss with you the status."

"Since when did I need assistance?" Andrea said while frowning. 

"It has gotten a lot busy now, Andy. Since we got together our investments doubled. We both even invested in a pharmaceutical company in the US. We'll talk more about it gradually… Right now, it's best that you bond with the twins for a few days, or a month, or for eternity if you want to. Your husband can solely take care of business."

Andrea realized there was so much for her to catch up with, but she was pleased to hear that Lu Fang wanted her to focus on the babies. She herself will put family first more than anything. It made her appreciate the man's choices even more. 

When they arrived at the Lu estate, Christina rushed outside crying and gave Andrea kisses on her cheeks before giving her a hug. "Andy, my daughter. Thank you - Thanks for -  coming back to us -  Thank goodness."

She was sobbing heavily that it affected Andrea, making her teary-eyed. 'Wow, I think Lu Fang's mother likes me very much,' she said in silence. 

It took a while for Christina to calm down and after coming back inside the house; they did not waste any time and headed to the twin's room where the midwife, Xing Mi was looking after them while they slept. 

The moment Andrea saw the twins in their individual cribs, she was instantly drawn to them. Her heart was pounding loudly and her emotions were beyond her comprehension. She picked up Chevre first and kissed him in both cheeks before hugging him lightly. "Oh my boy, you are a copy of your daddy."

Xing Mi acted out of instinct and picked up Brie to bring her closer to Andrea. 

"Oh gosh, that's - that's my little me!" Andrea exclaimed and kissed Brie in both cheeks as well. Her tears started to fall when she realized an instant connection. Touching them, all the more, created a powerful sense of familiarity. She told herself, "They are mine. I can feel it. Every - every bone in my body is telling me."

She turned her back to see both her husband and Christina were equally sentimental. She smiled at them before directing her gaze to the man. She said, "Babe, they are our babies."

Lu Fang's heart nearly jumped out of his chest when Andrea addressed him, babe. He came closer to her, stole a kiss on her lips then acknowledged, "There is no double about it, babe. They are ours."
