Chapter 320 - From the first time we met

"No, I'm not apologizing because of that, and I think you owe me an apology for that, and for not believing in me," Callum said with a chuckle. He then took a deep breath and continued, "I'm apologizing for not thinking about your feelings when I flirted with the girls. I thought that it was fine since it was in front of you... I thought that you would see that it was all a joke. But I should have been more considerate. I swear!" He put a hand over his heart as he said, "I've never flirted with anyone behind your back!" 

He then smiled wryly as he reached out to gently caress Luo Guangying's cheek as he said, "I should have known how much pain you are in... If I had known that your father's actions in the past, with those women, would affect you so much, I wouldn't have done anything. I wouldn't even look at those girls."

Luo Guangying looked at the man's gentle eyes, and he felt that Callum deserved someone much better than him; someone who could trust him with all their heart. Even now, he was afraid that they would have the same problem in the future.  

"I'm too weak..." Luo Guangying finally admitted the truth. He pulled his hand away from Callum and stood up with a guilty expression.   

"No, you're not..." Callum hugged him, afraid to let him go ever again. "You love me... You really, really love me... That's why you're so afraid... If you haven't loved me as much as you did, my grandfather would never have had the chance to use your insecurities against you."

Luo Guangying slowly raised his hands and wrapped them around Callum's waist. At first, he was only touching Callum's waist, but after a while, he started to hug him tightly.  

"You're too nice to me... I don't deserve you," Luo Guangying whispered as tears welled up in his eyes. "Why aren't you angry at me? I was so mean to you..." 

"When I stormed off, I wanted you to come after me... I wanted you to apologize more than anything... I was really angry, angry that you would say those stuff to me... But then, after I calmed down, I realized... I don't want to be apart from you at all." Callum hugged Luo Guangying tightly and inhaled the man's scent. He missed Luo Guangying, and he missed this; holding him in his arms.

So what if he loved Luo Guangying more than the other way around? Someone had to be the one who loved more in a relationship, and there was no way two persons could balance their love for each other. He would gladly love this broken man with all his heart, even if he would be hurt from this. 

Callum looked at Luo Guangying and slowly lowered his head before placing a kiss on the man's lips. "Let's start over again, my lovely Guangying... Alright? I would take care not to do things that would hurt you, but you need to promise me that you would not keep everything in your heart again... Talk to me if there's something bothering you. We are partners, lovers, and we are going to be fathers to two beautiful babies soon. We can't continue to be as if we were just normal friends who couldn't even talk to each other. Can you promise me that?" 

Luo Guangying looked at him, and a myriad of emotions ran through his heart at the moment. "I'm sorry, Callum..." he murmured after a long pause. Just as Callum thought that he had failed, that his lover couldn't move past his own pain, Luo Guangying nodded. "I-I'll make sure to open my heart more..."

A grin appeared on Callum's face upon hearing that, and he pushed Luo Guangying back down on the couch. 

"What-" Luo Guangying was about to say something out of confusion when he saw Callum taking off his shirt and unbuckling his belt. "What are you trying to do, Shenlong Xun?!" he snapped despite knowing the man's intentions. He gulped when he saw Callum's hard abs. It was evident that Callum had not been skipping out on his workout despite being heartbroken. 

"It's been so many weeks!" Callum laughed as he kneeled on the couch, with each knee next to Luo Guangying's thighs. He grabbed Luo Guangying's face and kissed him, first on the forehead, then on each of his cheeks. "Do you like what you are seeing? I wanted to pig in, but I was worried that you might reject me if I got fat..."

"Shenlong Xun! Did you just come here for this?" Luo Guangying complained, but his hands were already on Callum's face.

"No." Callum looked at Luo Guangying and smirked as he said, "But this is a pretty good ending. An unexpected ending!"

Of course, this wouldn't be the end to this. Someone had to pay for hurting both of them, for hurting his lover. But that was another party. For now, he just wanted to focus on Luo Guangying.

Callum took Luo Guangying's shirt off without so much of a resistance. He then threw the shirt far away before the latter could grab onto it.  

"I miss you..." Callum suddenly said as he looked at Luo Guangying's eyes. He gently caressed the man's cheek as he added in a soft voice, "I love you more than anything... Please don't ever doubt me on this..." 

Luo Guangying looked at him, and after a moment of silence, he nodded. He wrapped his arms around Callum's shoulders and pulled him down before placing a kiss on his lips and whispering, "I love you too... I'm really sorry about what I did... I should have more trust in us."

"It's alright. It's all in the past..." Callum said, placing a kiss on the man's neck. "As long as you don't give up on us, I'd always forgive you for everything..."

He sucked on the side of Luo Guangying's neck while one of his hands wandered down to the man's private part, and when a small bruise was formed where he was sucking, Callum smirked and said, "You're mine again..." 

Luo Guangying chuckled softly, and his voice was like music to Callum's ears. For weeks, Callum had been thinking about Luo Guangying and how to get him back. He planned for a lot of things, but in the end, he settled with secretly protecting Luo Guangying behind the man's back. 

Unknown to him, Luo Guangying had always known whenever Callum was nearby. He didn't go out of the house that often, but whenever he did, he could always guess where Callum was.

"I'm always yours..." Luo Guangying said as he lay on his back with Callum's face just inches from his. So what if he might get hurt one day? He had to grow up and get past his fear, or he would end up hurting a lot of people before he was hurt himself. Looking at Callum who was smiling at him, Luo Guangying changed his mind and thought, "Maybe if it's him... I wouldn't get hurt..."

"And I'd always be yours, my love," Callum said. "From the first time I met you at school where I thought you were a girl, to the very last breath I would take..."
