Chapter 357 - It would be fun

That night, Han Ye managed to convince Xiao Lei to spend the night over again. And as before, Tian Le was sent to the other apartment to accompany Xiao Zhihao. Unlike last week, this time, they were dressed in matching blue silk pajamas. Well... Han Ye was wearing the bottom half, and Xiao Lei was wearing the top half. 

When Han Ye passed her a set of the pajamas, she rejected it and made him take off his so that she could wear it. Not that he minded, of course, since he thought that she looked cute in his slightly bigger shirt. 

Xiao Lei was lying on Han Ye's arm when she said, "I think this is becoming a bad habit of yours." 

"What?" Han Ye asked in a soft voice as he gently tapped on her hip with his fingers while occasionally gave her red lacy underwear a tug. He was happy when he saw her in it since he was the one who brought it for her. 

She had scolded him and called him a pervert when he gave it to her, but she still wore it. 

"Telling me to sneak over once Zhihao is in bed," she said. She then pushed herself up slightly and looked at him. "I'm an a.d.u.l.t. Why do I need to 'sneak over'?" 

"It's more fun," Han Ye said with a chuckle. "Like we are doing something that we shouldn't." 

"You're childish, you know that..." she said with a sigh as she lay back down on his arm. She then said in an exaggerated manner, "Why the heck am I with you? I'm such a cool person. You're killing my coolness." 

"Cause you're equally childish," Han Ye said with a smile before leaning down to kiss her on the lips. "I haven't had you around since last week... Why don't you just move in?"

Upon hearing him, she rolled her eyes and said, "I live next door! And we see each other every day..." 

"I want to see you in my bed every day, waking up next to me. Look at An Xin. She's basically a member of this household already," Han Ye said with a serious expression. "No one would say a thing if you just stay here with me." 

He was right. An Xin had been staying over most nights, to the point that everyone in the house had considered her as part of their family. Lu Ziyan had even cleaned up half of his wardrobe to make place for her clothes, and that guy even bought a vanity table for An Xin as well. 

"And where's my son going to stay?" Xiao Lei asked with a raised brow. 

"He can live in Tian Le's room. Tian Le's not here most of the days anyway."

"Where's Tian Le going to stay when he's back during the weekends?" 

"They can bunk," Han Ye replied nonchalantly. "They are quite good friends after all."

"What if Tian Le brought a girl home?" Xiao Lei asked as she sat up. "That's bound to happen sooner or later, you know." 

Upon hearing this question, Han Ye frowned and replied, "He's not allowed to bring a girl home until he's 25. By that time, he would have a house of his own." 

"What?" Xiao Lei gasped. "Don't you bully him!" 

"Don't protect another man..." Han Ye groaned as he pulled her back down so that she was lying down with her head on his chest. 

"That's your younger brother, and he's like... 15!" 

"Don't care. He's still a man..." Han Ye said with a naughty smile as he hugged her tightly.

Xiao Lei rolled her eyes, having had enough of the discussion. But when she thought of how childishly stupid Han Ye was, she could not help but smile happily. After a while, she asked in a soft voice, "Han Ye... What are you doing tomorrow?" 

"Erm..." Han Ye pretended to think for a moment before saying, "I have to go to Du Mansion to help out. They are throwing a small party since Old Madam Zhen is back, and since everyone was back home at the moment, President Du really wants to have a gathering. All of us would be there to help out, especially with the kids. Why?"

He looked at her with an innocent expression. 

"Oh," Xiao Lei said with a slightly dejected expression. She then smiled at him and said, "Nah, nothing. I just thought we could go for lunch, but it's fine." 

"Lunch?" Han Ye frowned. "I would love to, but I would be at Du Mansion for quite some time. I'd probably be going over at around 11 am."

"Oh..."

"Is everything alright?" Han Ye asked. His hand then slipped under her t-shirt as he gently caressed her back. "Tell me if there's something bothering you." 

Xiao Lei shook her head and said with a sad smile, "It's nothing." 

She wanted to ask him out since it was her birthday, but... "Guess he has forgotten about it," Xiao Lei thought with a sad sigh. She figured that it was inevitable. Han Ye was so busy most of the time, and he had so many things to take care of, it would not be weird that he would forget about it. So, even though it hurt, she kept it to herself and did not say anything about it. 

Han Ye obviously knew what was in her mind, but he continued to pretend as if he did not know anything. "Well, why don't you come to Du Mansion tomorrow as well? Madam President Du has been asking about you, and she's a bit mad since I didn't bring you over ever since the last time you were there," Han Ye said. "It would be great if you guys can become friends." 

Xiao Lei nodded. "Yeah, sure..."

"Great!" Han Ye kissed her on the lips before saying, "It would be fun. There would be a lot of people there. And food as well! I think you would love it."

"What time do I have to be there? Can Zhihao come?" 

"Of course!" Han Ye grinned. "The twins would be mad if he's not there. Besides, Zhihao has to run some errands for me." 

Xiao Lei nodded. She knew that Han Ye and her son had come into some sort of work arrangement, so she did not question much about it.

"As for you," Han Ye took her hand as he said, "You can come around 4 pm. I told your driver to be on standby tomorrow. It would be fun." 

He changed position so that he was above her as he whispered, "I promise..."
