Chapter 82 - The Perfect Training Plan

Zenia remained oblivious of her surroundings. As soon as she penned down the last word, she suddenly lifted the paper up and smiled so sweetly. Vaughn saw it and was mesmerized.

"It's finished!" Zenia's tummy suddenly grumbled loudly.

Vaughn couldn't help but chuckle when he heard it. Zenia finally noticed him and gave him an aggrieved look. She forgot to eat because she was absorbed in drafting a perfect plan. She even added some designs for new weapons.

"The food serving maids have been waiting for you for a long time, but you won't budge so they called me in. They hoped that I will be able to make you eat."

"Oh, it's like that…"

The maids came in with trays of hot dishes and served them on the table. Zenia was really starving, and her stomach gave her away as it grumbled even louder. She turned crimson from embarrassment. Vaughn ordered the maids to go quickly. They knew that they should not speak of it outside the room. But, somehow they found it cute.

Vaughn sat next to Zenia and began putting food on her plate.

"Did you eat, Your Highness?"

"Hmm, I already ate."

'Can't you just go away and let me eat in peace?'

"Your Highness, I finished the training plan already. You can take a look and review it in your study." Zenia put on an awkward smile.

Vaughn knew what she was trying to do, and he was not willing to follow. He had been away from her for quite a long time already.

"I will take a look at it after you finish your meal. How can I face my mother-in-law if she learns that I don't take care of her daughter properly?"

Zenia's eyebrow twitched. Did he find out that she was helpless against her mother? After several days of being together, she knew that the elegant Crown Prince of Tissuria could be more brazen than any shameless man. He might say something outrageous to her mother.

Zenia gritted her teeth and let Vaughn continue with what he was doing.

'Fine! You want to be my nanny, I will grant your wish.'

"Your Highness, I want that." Zenia pointed at the piping hot steamed shrimps.

Vaughn reached for the bowl that contained the shrimps, "This one?"

"Yes." Zenia's eyes glowed with delight when she saw the delicious shrimps up close.

Vaughn peeled the shrimps one by one and put them in Zenia's plate. She was amazed at Vaughn's ability to peel the shrimps using the eating utensils. She usually peeled her shrimps using her bare hands. She was glad that she got a wonderful nanny at that moment.

Zenia enjoyed her meal and forgot all about the things that happened earlier. After cleaning up, she happily presented the plan to Vaughn for review. He looked at the layout of the training course and read the expected results that Zenia painstakingly wrote in details. She stated the benefits of the training and how to increase the efficiency of the soldiers.

Vaughn couldn't believe that such a simple machine and layout could create amazing results. He got to see it, to believe it. But, he got to admit that his wife was amazing. Still far from being called a genius, but undoubtedly amazing.

"How did you come up with these designs? It's unbelievable." Vaughn couldn't come up with the perfect words to describe the plan.

"Oh, we have been using that for years now. I just happen to memorize them since we have been using those obstacle training courses for as long as I can remember. But the designs of the weapons are all mine." Zenia felt like she was standing on the highest peak as she proudly mentioned the weapons.

Zenia had an intense fascination with weapons. When she was young, she thought that a sword was the only weapon she could use. Zander had given her all sorts of swords and daggers when she started training. Her Big Brother knew that she always switched places with Zekiah during training and even encouraged her by not telling their mother about it.

When Zenia became a third rank officer, an emissary from a faraway kingdom came to Ishelon and presented various weapons. They even provided a demonstration. It was the first time that Zenia saw different types of weapons and all of them were amazing. From then on, she decided to design her own weapon.

Zander saw some of her designs and helped her improved them. The military men of Ishelon had been using some of the weapons that she designed.

"You can design a weapon?" Vaughn couldn't believe it.

He took a closer look at the weapons that Zenia had drawn. He had no idea how to use them, but they looked so effective. He looked at his wife, full of admiration.

'It seems I have yet to discover so many things about my wife.'

"Go! Go now and discuss it with Redivo. We don't have much time."

"Don't have much time for what?"

Zenia rolled her eyes, "You need to make your men stronger and be prepared for any sudden attack from the Left Minister's private army."

"My men are more capable than them." Vaughn declared with pride as he held up his chin.

"My mini-private army will arrive in less than six months. My Big Brother always keeps his promise."

"I will see you later, my wife. I will go and discuss something with my men." Vaughn headed to the door and left Zenia feeling satisfied.

She couldn't wait for the training to start. She grinned when she thought about giving the Crown Prince some hard time. She did not tell him that they should do a particular workout first before they can proceed to the proper training. She laughed out loud, and it startled the maid who was about to knock on her door.

The maid hesitated, but the etiquette teacher that the Crown Prince had hired already arrived. They forgot to inform the Crown Princess earlier that her teacher would come.

"What are you standing there for? Hurry up and open the door." An elderly woman with dignified looks and bearing spoke to the maid.

"Y-yes, Madam."

Zenia just stopped laughing by herself when the maid opened the door, "Crown Princess, your teacher is here."

"Teacher?"

The elderly woman stepped in and introduced herself, "Your Highness, I am Baroness Munchefort and I am here to teach you regarding Tissuria's Royal etiquette."

"Greetings Baroness Munchefort, you may call me Zenia. I am your student after all," Zenia gave her teacher a warm smile as she bowed slightly.

The Baroness showed a stern face and talked politely but the hostility could be traced from the tone of her voice. Zenia felt that the Baroness did not like her. She had a hunch that the bad rumors about her had clouded the Baroness' judgment.

The Baroness was slightly surprised at Zenia's demeanor and the things that she said. Baroness Munchefort was one of Vaughn's nannies when he was still a little boy. She was bestowed the title of a Baronness by Vaughn himself when he had gained the authority to do so.

The old Baroness heard rumors about the ugly and good-for-nothing daughter of Ovid Anisen. Zenia had decided to do away with the face veil when inside the main residence. She walked slowly toward Zenia and adjusted her bifocals. She smiled when she got a clear view. She liked what she was seeing.

The Baroness gave a sigh of relief when she saw Zenia's face. She knew that there was no way that her dear boy would agree to marry someone so despicable.

"Dear," the Baroness took Zenia's hand and patted it before she continued. "I will teach you everything you need to know about the Royal etiquette in Tissuria so none of those leechers would slight you."

The Baroness gave Zenia a warm smile, which was totally unexpected. It was like the Baroness had a split personality, but Zenia liked it even better.

"I will be in your care, Teacher. I will look forward to learning so much from you."
