Chapter 21 - Poison

Thanks for Zhao Li Xin she don't need to get up early, Mu Han make excused that Lory is not really well so she need rest a little bit more because Lory is known as diligent maids no one against her to rest a little bit more. Lory awake with good mood she immediately back to her worked just like she used to.

Lory is busy cleaning the main hall furniture she clean every nook and cranny diligently, she do her job quietly so she not bothering the Master who is around the main hall, while Lory wipe the shelf Madam Yang Wei Lan with her daughter Lao Fei Yan sitting near the round table in the middle of the room, she look anguish and annoyed "That B***h is getting out of control!!" she slammed the table, other servants who were there is startled but Lory ignored them and continued her job as if she doesn't hear anything.

"Calm down Mother is not like she already wins….." Lao Fei Yan sip her tea calmly

"But Yan'er that woman dared to humiliated your Father and ignored the crown prince" Madam Yang shouted angrily

"She must still hold some feeling for the crown Prince that's why she does this, she doesn't know whatever she does Crown prince would never look at her" Lao Fei Yan sneered.

"Hump, how dared she is,she just the daughter of a s*** after all" Madam yang snorted "I heard she even dared to hit my people what else she dared to do, we must do something Yan'Er!!"

Lao Fei yan sign her mother to be quiet "It's find Mother...I would take care of everything" she sneered.

"Yes, we need to do something, that vixen already make third prince interested with her if this becomes serious who knew what would she do to us....."

"We need to cut the weeds before it grows too much…." Lao Fei Yan said with quiet voice so the maid won't hear her. Yang Wei Lan nodded her head firmly. Lao Min Na sudden changed make her restless and the way Lao Min Na looking at her is give chill on her spine, everyone said she's thinking too much but she don't agree the recent Lao Min Na give the creeps all over her body, every time she near her a small voice in her head screaming to get away from Lao Min Na, she hated to admitted it but she scared with Lao Min Na, killing her would be the best option for her and her daughter.

Lory finish her job and left the main hall not interested to hear more the pair devil Mother and daughter plan, she does pity that Lao Min Na but Lory couldn't agree with her few exaggerated methods she used, she had beat a maid till she half death just because she brought spoiled food for her, it's not the servant fault as a maid she can refuse Yang Wei Lan order what else she could do.

The worst happens is when Prime minister new concubine was told to send new fragrant incense for Lao Min Na, the young Concubine is only a few months in the manor she still not understand the dept situation in Lao Manor. When Lao Fei Yan asking her to do something the young concubine is not suspicious at all, she doesn't know what she brought with her is aphrodisiac meant to ruined Lao Min Na reputation when she received the incense fragrant from the young concubine as an alchemist of course, she figured it out right away what this incense truly is. She accepted the gift without question but later the young concubine is found by everyone including the Prime Minister,she was found having S** with male servant it's become uproar Yang Wei Lan and Lao Fei Yan angry because their plan failed the male servant is supposed to be with Lao Min Na but why is he here with her.

Lao Min Na watched the scene from afar she doesn't feel remorse make the concubines as collateral damaged is her own fault to be used as pawn with Lao Fei Yan and her Mother she can only blame her stupidity. while the young concubines crying and pleading for her innocent from Prime Minister Lao of course, his not listened even if true that she has been framed but the fact his made cuckold remain the same people would laugh at him, how could he let this woman damaged his reputation he beat the woman and kick her out of the Manor without anything literally she not even had cloth at that time, she was thrown away like trash.

Lory is the one secretly give clothes and a little bit money for the concubine, the woman looks empty and hopeless Lory doesn't know how she would manage in the future, the woman in this world is depending on their family when they were young, next they depend on their husband after she got old they depending on their son if they have a Son…... This young concubine is good as death now but Lory couldn't help her further, in the end people must take care of themselves so she just sighed and watched that young woman left.

Late at night, Lory had finished her job she's on the way to maid courtyard when she meets with Ci ci, she holds a tray with pastry on it, Lory wondering where is she send than food at this hour.

"Where are you going Ci ci?"

"Sister Luo" Cici startled when she sees Luo Ri Yi "Oh this is first miss dinner"

"Who's asking you?"

"Elder sister Lin...."

Lin Wu is Lao Fei Yan personal maid, Lory has sudden bad feeling with this someone like Lao Fei Yan would never send anything good for Lao Min Na and Lao Min Na character also.....she remembered the pitiful figure young concubines that she doesn't even know her names is "Let me take it to second Miss, yo go back to your room" said Lory while still maintain her sweet smiled.

"Sister Luo you don't have to, this is my job…." she refuted she won't want to trouble her again.

Lory smiled widely "It's not like that Ci ci, I just wanted to curry favor with this first miss I have a feeling she would have a good stance in this family"

"Really….?" Ci ci not sure

"Do you now the third prince favor her...you should hear the rumor"

"Ohhh….yes I heard it, is that true?" she asked, Lory nodded profusely.

"Okay, then Sister Luo" Cici gives the food tray to Lory happily "I wish you good luck!"

"Thank you Ci ci!" lory smiled back at her, after Ci ci left she examined the food but seems like the food is fine, Lory frown she hard to believe this food has not tampered before, That Lao Fei Yan is vicious as Lao Min Na well they are related after all.

[It's the chopstick] said Girsha abruptly appeared beside her.

[Aahh....clever girl….] lory smiled she honestly praised Lao Fei Yan crafty minds.

[What would you do, that scary girl would know the chopstick is being tampered]

[What can I do? Just wait and see….] she said calmly.

[Hhhh...just don't be reckless] Girsha remind Lory.

Girsha roll his eyes annoyed by her answer nothing is good when she answered like that, this is exact attitude before they end up fighting with 'The white-eyed behemoth' lucky Lory blessed with Lucient strong shield if not with her power at that time she might end up dead without corpse, Lory and Girsha power had not been in sync so Lory still weak at least for Lucient standard.

When Lory arrived at Lao Min Na courtyard she surprised how small and tattered this place is so many weeds and the stone floor is broken everywhere, her maid courtyard is better than this no wonder she become so hostile with her family and now they even served her more poisoned this family ties is irreconcilable.

"Who are you?" a maid about Ci ci aged stopped her with suspicious looks.

"I'm Luo Ri Yi, they told me to sent snack for second Miss" Lory said politely.

"Came in" another woman voice heard from inside the room, when Lory enters the room she sees beautiful woman with soft green and white hanfu Lo Min Na beauty is no jokes she even more beautiful compare the last time she saw her no wonder third prince fall in love at first sight with her, Lory put down the tray on the table she gives her courteous bow but before she left suddenly Lao Min Na stopped her "Wait!"

"Yes Young Miss"Lory halt her step and turn around.

Lao Min Na fiddle the chopstick in her hand, seems like she knew about the tampering chopstick sooner than she thought, she really is talented alchemist.

"Are you the one who prepared this?" Lao Min Na said with cold voice.

"No young Miss I just delivered it"Lory replied calmly.

Lao Min Na try to see if Lory hide something but Lory remain calm and composed she don't see any changed in Lory faces, of course she can't see it Lory is a princess who had hours training by Fred Hard 'The Smiling Demon' himself even when the bomb blow up behind your back Lory can remain calmed and graceful as Princess should be.

"I think the pastry is too sweet, why don't you tasted it for me" Lo Min Na smiled wickedly, she gives Lory chopstick from her hand, Lory knew she wants to test her either she is innocent or perpetrator. If she refused then she failed but if she eats it she would die, what a cruel game. Lory also wanted to know if Lao Min Na would kill innocent maid just to overcome her suspicion, is she really that vicious or she just pretends to be one.
